The theater, as you know, starts with a hanger, so I'll start with the wardrobe, everything is fast here both before and after the performance, but maybe we were lucky, there were few people at the ballet. The ballet Gayane feels like 3 acts are about the same thing. The plot is very simplified. The buffet is just coffee and champagne, there are no snacks.

We went to Swan Lake. And we liked it! The soloist fluttered like a bird, so sophisticated. The costumes are beautiful. The orchestra is wonderful! If you take tickets, you will find comfortable seats on the 8th row of the stalls (it is higher) and the first rows will also be clearly visible (I was afraid that I was too close, I did not take it. As a result, I realized that it was possible to take)

A beautiful building on a beautiful square. Inside, it's modest. This is the first time I've seen burgers in the theater buffet. We watched Spartak very well. I was surprised that, according to the locals, all the protests begin on the square near the theater.

When visiting Yerevan, it is impossible to appreciate the entire national flavor without visiting the Opera and Ballet Theater! We watched the ballet "GAYANE" - we really liked it! Arrhythmists work with their soul and full dedication! We were pleasantly surprised by the prices in the buffet: they are affordable, without the extra charges of "our operas"

I recommend it, I've been to opera houses in different cities. Worthy. It was perfectly visible from different places: the stalls, the mezzanine, and the side balconies. I especially remember the long scene: additional compartments on the sides are included in the action. I watched the premiere of Turandot. It was beautiful, powerful, and the hall was accompanied for a long time. The staff is polite and pleasant. I wish the theater finances to upgrade the seats of the auditorium.

It was interesting to get acquainted with the cultural part of Yerevan and Armenia. We were lucky and 2 days before the ballet we bought tickets for the Nutcracker. An interesting experience) The hall is spacious, the chairs are comfortable. The price in the buffet was pleased.

Wonderful! The hall is not huge, it is clearly visible from any place! The acoustics are great! I really liked that the programs are distributed just like that, and during the intermission you can freely go out into the fresh air - the doors are open and you do not need to re-show the ticket - most viewers do so!

We went to Madame Butterfly. The opera is wonderful!! But there is one thing! They perform it in Italian with !! with Armenian subtitles. Therefore, in order to understand the plot, read before the performance, do not be lazy on the Internet about the acts of the plot with all the scenes and you will be happy! Get aesthetic pleasure from the acting, music and scenery! A wonderful place, wonderful performers! The building, if I'm not mistaken, is in the style of the Stalinist Empire . In a well-preserved condition. Inside, the hall is a little uncomfortable with strange couches , appropriate somewhere in a youth anti-cafe, into which different people fall from different sides.
We watched Gayane A. KHACHATURIAN. I advise you to first read about the changes in the libretto for this ballet from the 30s, I am sure, like us, you will discover a lot of interesting things. It's a pity that there are no such historical things in the program.
Take a fan with you, the air conditioning system is not good. But the costumes, music, performers are wonderful, and as an enchanting finale - an epoch-making Saber Dance! Therefore, here 5 stars are not for the building, but for the troupe and A. KHACHATURIAN.

The dancers have excellent technique, the ballet company is at its best, and I have seen a lot in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Ufa, there is something to compare it with, the building is old, the chic hall and interior, tactful staff. Tickets from 2,000 AMD, but such tickets must be taken in advance for some ballets and opera. An average of 6,000 AMD.

One of the most memorable trips to the theater. The ballet "Spartacus" is forever in my heart. The main dancer and his partner, thanks to their talent and origin, very accurately conveyed the drawing of the dances of Spartacus and his contemporaries. We were at the ballets Spartacus and Gayane. Spartak in St. Petersburg is insanely expensive, but in Yerevan the quality is not worse (the production is classic, Grigorovich), and the prices are much lower. And I think national ballets should be watched only in their "native" performance. Very good. Life hack: in the stalls up to the seventh row, it is very difficult to look at the heads of those sitting forward, a very good ascent begins from the eighth row, it is perfectly visible. In the amphitheater, the ascent from the second row, you can see the whole scene very well. The prices at the buffet are affordable, but there is a queue (there is only one buffet), you can book a table in advance, before the performance (if you come a little earlier, of course). If you are from Russia, like us, you cannot buy tickets in advance via the Internet, but you can book and redeem them on the day of the performance (we did exactly that). Programs are not for sale, but are given away!!! You go into the hall, and you have a program on the armrest, and excellent paper, excellent printing)) I'm a theater-goer with experience, but this is the first time I've seen this! I put 5 stars, it would be possible, then I would put all ten)) Thanks

Great place: we had a delicious coffee and a snack. Of the desserts, I highly recommend cherry yard to lovers of custard and sourness in desserts - just a fairy tale.
The coffee itself in turk (jazve) is delicious, it did not cause any questions.
The only thing that spoiled the impression a little: we waited a very long time for the waiters to notice us, although there were few people in the establishment.
Anyway, if you find yourself nearby, it makes sense to come in (especially if you are not familiar with the coffee chain)

Unprofessional work of an usher! A dismissive attitude. The girl did not stop eating while serving us. But we survived that. And the fact that she sold us tickets the next day is really unpleasant! Of course, it's our own fault that we didn't double-check, but how could this be expected?They gave the opera 30 minutes, the ballet was skipped. We were very upset, the evening was ruined.
Double-check your tickets, you can't trust the employees.

We visited the magnificent Spandaryan Opera House. We listened to the opera Sayat Nova. A magnificent production in the classical canons. A wonderful choir, costumes, scenery, worthy soloists, I would especially like to mention the performer of the title role Hovhannes Andreasyan. A magnificent theater building, comfortable seats, a good bush. It is a pity that the hall was occupied by barely a third. I would like to advise the Yerevan authorities to adopt the experience of the Moscow Active Longevity program and actively involve older people in visiting the theater. I'm sure there will be those who want to, there are quite a few intellectuals left in the city. Many thanks to the theater and the artists.

The hall is comfortable, an amphitheater, you can see well, although there may be surprises in the side sections - chairs tilted to the side, an uncomfortable place for the legs. The troupe is excellent, strong voices, good dancers, always rich scenery and beautiful costumes.
But the prices bite - 20,000 drams for a ticket in the center.
