It's a beautiful station, it's a pity that they turned it into a market and a dump, I hope that this inappropriate bazaar will be removed, the rails will be cleared, the territory will be landscaped and the main railway station of the country will be given a proper look.

A comfortable and beautiful train station right next to my house. Recently, we managed to use his services, went to Gyumri and back. Now, in fact, you can leave Yerevan by railway only to Gyumri, Tbilisi and, in summer, to Batumi. But from the size and beauty of the building, it is clear that there used to be much more active train traffic here. Tickets were bought immediately before departure, there were no queues, only cash was accepted.
