August 14 - Honey saved!
On this holiday, we were in the wonderful city of Turov, rich in its history, sights and had a great time!
I can't stop admiring the beauty of our nature and architecture!
A majestic place. The thousand-year history of the most ancient city of Turov and the whole of Belarus is connected with it. It is a place of worship for the Orthodox. The history of Orthodoxy begins here. Also, many interesting legends from the life of the Princes of Turov are associated with this place. If you want to find out, visit the Castle Hill.
Everything is perfectly equipped. In short, modestly but with taste. The territory is well maintained, the grass is mowed. For those who do not like the hustle and bustle of cities.
The places are good , but the local government is a fat failure. Why am I giving a bad review, Pripyat is a beautiful river, Tours are a city with potential, but there are no normal entrances to the river, the roads are broken everywhere and it is visible that if something was done there, it was still under Soviet rule. Shops also seem to be there, but there are almost no ordinary fruits, except at the market. Also, is it really impossible to make campsites on the river (in Braslov and on purpose, there are enough campsites and it is easy to find their location on the sites) and the state has earned money, and people would be fine.
Well, what can you say about a small hill overgrown with grass? Well, yes, it's mowed down, there's no garbage, there's a list of all local school graduates from the last 20 years at the bottom of the parking lot. The truth is without frills. Just the issue and the year.
Two small signs with short information.
In the modern age of computerization and mobile telephony, you can do better. Nevertheless, it is one of the oldest cities in the republic.
If you are in Turov, be sure to visit this place. The scenery around is simply fascinating. After all, our ancestors were able to choose places to build cities and castles. By the way, there is the Boriso-Glebsky cemetery nearby, where you can see "growing" stone crosses.
It is informative, you can see, next to it there is a river, growing crosses, a small settlement, a market like in the 90s, I showed the child how they used to live.
A very beautiful view of the city of Tours. A tall monument . I recommend everyone not to spare two rubles and go to the museum. There are a lot of impressions!
It's a great place, it was even a little scary to immerse yourself in antiquity, but what you saw here, at least in Belarus, you won't find anywhere. The place simply fills with inspiration and strength for achievements. It won't hurt anyone to visit!
