I love these ancient sights of Europe. What a careful attitude to their history; in what excellent condition are these castles of the 13th-14th centuries.

A large, beautiful old castle and a beautiful old town underneath it. During the Second World War, Wernigerode was not bombed, so all the buildings were preserved in the original.
