Wonderful museum, friendly staff!
I was surprised that you can view the 10th century Zaslavl in VR glasses!
I was surprised by the magnificent exhibition of children's works, beauty!
The museum is small, but there are many interesting exhibits. A large collection of old musical instruments. There is a room with virtual reality glasses. The shop was made very colorful. In general, it is mandatory to visit if you are in Zaslavl.
I was not at the exhibition. The entrance to the museum was guarded by a cat. Wonderful handmade wooden magnets on the theme of the city are sold at the checkout. There are also other interesting souvenirs.

An interesting complex of museums. The museums are located in different parts of Zaslavl. We visited all of them and did not regret it. A kind of quest: find and visit, looking at other sights of the city on the way. The museum staff are very friendly and willingly told us about all the exhibits. I especially remember the Museum of Mythology and Forests and Mlyn. I definitely recommend it.
I liked the guide, a young guy. I was impressed by the Jewish shop with all sorts of utensils. + Interactive glasses that take you back 10 centuries. Definitely a plus)
I really liked it, not a bad exhibition of musical instruments, a gallery and a very interesting merchant's shop, antique items. Thanks to the museum staff .
We dined well, everything was delicious, but we couldn't get the payment for a long time, because the bartender or the administrator didn't even know who it was) I couldn't divide the bill into two families ((
I was surprised unexpectedly.Very small, but...In the first room there is an interactive program that takes you to the 10th-11th centuries. At the same time, you need to constantly turn around, because a dog rushes at you, then a warrior with an axe.the second hall with the nationalwith tools. The second floor was not impressive, but the Jewish shop is interestingly built.I highly recommend visiting the museum.(and then look at the remaining shafts, etc.)
The most excellent regional museum! Wonderful staff, guides, and an interesting exposition. The most striking impression is the tapestries on the ground floor dedicated to Rogneda Rogvoldovna and Izyaslav.
When visiting ancient Zaslavl, do not forget to look into the cozy city museum in the historical center of the city. Thanks to the friendly and erudite guides, a tour of the museum collections will be an unforgettable experience for adults and children.
I took my children to the museum when we were passing through Zaslavl. A small but interesting museum with exhibits from the history of the city. A good hall about musical instruments.
The most friendly staff! For the price of an entrance ticket, we were told about each exhibit of the small museum! In the museum: a room with large (modern) tapestries, a hall with musical instruments (dulcimers, harmonicas, violins, accordions, etc.), a room "Jewish shop" with many household items, an exhibition hall in which forged products (modern) were exhibited during our visit
It seemed to us that there was nothing to see in Zaslavl. We watched the movie. In good condition, the object is being looked after, the woman who sells tickets came with us and told us everything. I liked it, unexpectedly, but I liked it. She told us about the museum. We visited 3 halls, there was also an exhibition of iron products, but it did not leave any impressions. The first one with tapestries. For general development, it is necessary) The second one is with folk instruments. It turned out to be interesting, there are many tools collected for such a small museum. The third room is a Jewish shop. It's a miracle. They told us and showed us. I turned out to be like a child. I wanted to play in the store, touch everything. There are irons on coals and those that heated the core in the stove, and the bell makes an amazing sound, I have never seen a brass heating pad. There are a lot of interesting little things. We were delighted with the museum.
Rubbish. The national hodgepodge. Not a museum, but rather an exhibition gallery. There is no 1000-year history at all. A room with pre-revolutionary junk (scales, irons, bottles, plates), there is one interesting shelf with stove tiles from the 1700s, a hall with three curtains from 1992. And a large hall with homemade harmonicas is interesting. Well, it's clean and well maintained.
The museum is good (it's interesting here), but small. That's why there's nothing to see here. However, the main advantage is that sometimes the topic changes and you can see something new. But you can't put 5 stars yet (the workers here are going about their business).
