A good train station is being renovated. It's just a pity that at the moment (autumn 2024) there is no store or cafe with food nearby. Only a stall, which often does not have hot dogs and so on. and the assortment is small
It is always very clean and tidy. Polite staff. It's a pity there are few routes, but these are not questions for the train station.
There is an exhibition of airplanes near the station, it is interesting for children
Not comfortable seats for passengers.
On September 14, 2023, I was at this station, in addition to the above inconvenience, at 5:15 a.m., without any announcements or warnings, the cashier turned off the lights in the waiting room for about five minutes, creating pitch darkness.
At the same time, she did not respond to repeated requests from waiting passengers to turn on the light.
I turned it on after the above specified period of time, without explaining the reason for the power outage in the waiting room.
Thus, she showed negligence and arbitrariness in relation to her official duties.
At the same time, if the passenger put his belongings in the storage room, he paid 2 rubles for storage. Recently, I remembered that I forgot my wallet, phone or some other necessary thing and takes it away, and puts the rest of the things back in the storage room, then pays 2 rubles again.
I think it's not right, but that's my personal opinion.
The station is not bad, repairs, coffee machine are all available to wait for your train. The service is good, they will always help you, there are a lot of taxis in the parking lot, you can go where you need from the train.
A great, cozy train station. The waiting room is clean, the station area is in perfect order. Some stations in Russia should learn from Belarus how to keep everything in order!
It would be very good if the trains at Zhitkovichi station would stay for more than 5 minutes. Since now the biggest stop at this station is 2-3 minutes.
Disadvantages: Slow work and incompetence of cashiers. Complete lack of infrastructure. The indistinct voice of the dispatcher.
Dignities: Modern renovation of the station. Purity.
