Guest house "Pearl of the seaside" vacationed with her husband in early October. We have been staying with Polina for 4 years and I really like the hotel. The modern interior of the rooms, which changes every year, has a kitchen on the floor where you can cook breakfast or lunch.There is a summer kitchen and a barbecue area where you can gather with the whole guest house and relax. There is an area where you can iron the laundry. There are also a lot of flowers, tangerines, persimmons in the hotel, where you can leave the room with a cup of coffee and enjoy the beautiful view. All cafes and shops are within walking distance. But the sea is generally a 2-minute walk away. Be sure to come to the Pearl of the Seaside guest house, where a friendly hostess will prompt and help with any question. Polina you are super👍👍👍 Abkhazia is a paradise where you can enjoy nature .

Good afternoon! I had a rest in July 2024 in the guest house " Pearl of the seaside ". I would like to tell you about my vacation and express my impressions about Abkhazia and the guest house. Talk through the pros and cons.
The advantages of Abkhazia are nature! The incredible beauty of the mountains. I visited Lake Rizza, waterfalls, Stalin's cottage - the nature is incredible.
The sea is clear, azure after a thunderstorm, but you need to choose places to swim because of sewage. This is the main disadvantage. No matter who I talked to at the hotel or on the beach, EVERYONE, without exception, got sick with rotovirus. The administration of the city of Gagra has completely launched it, the streets are not swept, garbage is not taken out, it stinks of sewage. Is it really impossible to paint bus stops, messes, houses with cheap paint in 30 years? The appearance of the city wants the best. In Soviet times, vacation in Gagra was a prestige! Everything is expensive in terms of products, fruits are more expensive than in the north. Sellers, taxi drivers, tour guides are not friendly - they want to grab as much as possible and in winter there is nothing to worry about.
As for the hotel, the main advantage is the location and the incredible variety of colors on the territory of the guest house. That's it! Cons lack of cleaning (guests clean the room themselves, the room was not cleaned before check-in), the house is very dirty, linen is changed 1 time in 6 days, smelly towels were given, LACK of PEACE and QUIET! The endless barking of the dog and loud clarification of the family relations of the owners at 7 a.m., and sometimes from 23.00 to 01.00 at night, are quite tired. The feeling that you are in a gypsy camp, and not in a guest house. During my vacation, I was most tired of them. If you want to get enough sleep in a year, on your only vacation of the year, you are not here. A complete lack of culture and ethics. The hostess of the habalka!
I wrote honestly! I don't want you to waste your money and nerves!
Abkhazia is a country with incredibly gorgeous nature, I didn't see any more advantages.

We rested for a week, the owners are friendly, they will help and tell you everything, the rooms are modernly renovated, there is a place for a barbecue. The entire infrastructure is within walking distance. My wife and I are very glad that we met such caring hosts, we will come again.

We rested here for 10 days in June. We lived in a room with a kitchen on the 1st floor. Quiet, cozy, homely. We were very satisfied. The room has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Not expensive. The beach, shops, transport, cafes are within walking distance. There is no need to compare it with five-star hotels in Turkey, Abkhazia is a different holiday. He's not worse or better, he's just different. Thanks to Polina for the hospitality!

How to get out of this state faster) the neighbors are wonderful pleasant people to relax with each other, did not interfere. In the evenings, we did not listen to music loudly on the balcony, no one made comments to us. In general, a comfortable place for a comfortable stay. Abkhazia was liked by nature. And the guest house is the pearl of the seaside.there is a butcher shop nearby. Grocery store. ATM machine. Several pharmacies. 5-7 minutes to the sea. In general, I recommend it

Don't believe the negative reviews, it's complete nonsense. We had a rest with a friend from June 10 to 18, 2023. Sincere and hospitable hosts Polina l and Polina ll. We had a beautiful and large room, like a studio apartment with a peculiar European flavor, there was an exit to the courtyard, where tangerine, olive, etc. trees grow, as well as amazingly beautiful flowers. This guest courtyard is all in beautiful colors and a cozy atmosphere!!!!!! The sea is not far away, shops and cafes are also within walking distance. Polina l treated us to her wonderful compotes and freshly brewed coffee!!!! Our vacation turned out to be wonderful - the sea, mountains, air and pleasant hosts, we became so friendly with them that when we left we cried, they became so dear to us. We are definitely planning to come for the New Year!!!! Thank you, our beloved Polina!!! We recommend the guest house to normal people, not for the insane!!!!!

The whole sewer system runs into the sea, local dogs want to drink and do not drink from this "river" apparently they are smarter than people, "shithead", hello rotovirus, but we come to rest, not to get sick, especially with children, think what is more important, there are a lot of guest houses in Gagra with the best place to rest on on the beach, Gagra is located so that the sea is always nearby, the difference is 5 minutes, health is more expensive than a 5-minute walk to the clear sea or health, there is always a choice, and the rest is "tinsel". And briefly about this house, it is very cramped, the courtyard is a staircase, and a narrow narrow corridor where there is one saucepan and a kettle for 6 rooms, where you buy toilet paper and soap yourself, it is good if you fly in the afternoon when the shops are open, where you also throw out garbage yourself, there are containers with garbage to the central road. We had a rest in June 2021, rented a room on the 3rd floor. The room is large, beautiful, everything is necessary, very clean,new beautiful furniture,perfect sound insulation, which is rare in Abkhazia. There is a sea view from the balcony.And in the rain, there was always a saxophone somewhere in the evenings .The courtyard and the spans between the floors are all in colors. There are gazebos for relaxation, a barbecue area. And in this small courtyard there is always privacy for two.The hosts are the best that we have met, two Polinas, a mother and a daughter.Polina the elder will delight you with the most delicious wine and not only.Polina Jr. is very friendly and a very sincere person, if you want to talk to her.They try to avoid your eyes once again .But they are always at home. Really a pearl. I can't even believe that such a beauty could be made on such a small plot. One word cannot describe it... a paradise, multi-level. There are flowers everywhere, various interiors, tables and chairs, vases... The hostess Polina is a very friendly woman who accepts you as her guests.Cleanliness and comfort everywhere invites you to live there once more. The sea is next to everything else... shops, cafes, canteens, transport stops on excursions.

The room is terribly dirty, I had to wear slippers, which then need to be washed. They did not bother to put a bed for the child by our arrival, we had to wait, although the owners knew the time of arrival. Bela's dog is harmless, kind, and the shepherd was constantly scaring, one day they came, but she was not in a locked room, so wait for her to attack from where. Why keep such a dog and not keep an eye on it when you have strangers all the time? No one took out the garbage for all 5 days, both from the room and from the shared kitchen. The toilet is wobbling! Of the advantages, a beautiful room, proximity to the sea and a TV, you can enter any movie in the search and watch it for free.

Hello. I want to share my experience of communicating with the hostess of the "Pearl of the Seaside" since I did not live in this guest house and I am unlikely to ever gain this experience)))). Having found out that there are available rooms for the dates I am interested in, I tried to book a room, but was refused in a rather harsh form, and the reason is simple - between the departure date of the previous guests and the date of my check-in, the room will be idle for as much as two days!!!!! . Everything that was said to me and the tone in which Polina allows herself to talk to a potential client completely discouraged the desire to stay with this person. I read negative reviews on Tripadvisor, but against the background of good reviews on the Kudanamore website, they did not seem significant, and when faced with the rudeness of the hostess of the Pearl of the Seaside, I realized that people were writing the truth.
