Last weekend I had the opportunity to visit the ZINAIDA restaurant, located in a new, actively developing area of the city. The location was chosen extremely well: modern high-rise buildings create a contrast with the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant, and convenient parking facilitates the visit.
Already on the approaches to the restaurant, you can feel the thoughtfulness of the design: the surrounding area is decorated in the style of cozy alleys and lantern arches, and at the entrance guests are greeted by an elegant Christmas tree, which creates a festive mood.
The ZINAIDA restaurant is a spacious two–storey establishment where you are immediately greeted by a reception with friendly staff who are ready to escort you to your table. The interior has an atmosphere of warmth and comfort: the mixed rustic style is accentuated by a variety of decorative elements – porcelain figurines, exquisite plates decorating the walls.
Menu and service
The restaurant's menu turned out to be very diverse, with an emphasis on specialty dishes. We were served by a waitress named Bernara – competent, attentive and professional. She not only gave comprehensive recommendations, but also helped to make a choice.
We tried several dishes:
Horse meat ribs, stewed for 10 hours in a special way and baked in a wood-burning oven before serving. The dish was accompanied by the chef's signature sauce, which perfectly complemented its taste.
Stuffed peppers served on a creamy potato pillow. The finest balance of textures and flavors.
The signature salad vinaigrette is a modern interpretation of the classics with the addition of miniature mushrooms, which pleasantly surprised.
Lightly salted cucumbers, exquisitely decorated with pea sprouts, are a light but bright snack.
The compliment from the restaurant was beetroot caviar and Cobra sauce – a spicy combination of fresh tomatoes, horseradish and garlic, which added an accent to the meal. The bread basket consisted of fragrant black and white bread.
Of the drinks, we chose jasmine tea, which perfectly completed the dinner.
General impressions
Each dish was distinguished by a high level of execution, starting from the taste nuances and ending with the serving. The service is impeccable, the atmosphere is cozy and conducive to long conversations.
The ZINAIDA restaurant left an exceptionally positive impression. This place is ideal for both a friendly meeting and a cozy family dinner. Of course, I recommend you to visit!

The cozy interior, the motorcycle at the entrance immediately immerses in nostalgia. The menu is adapted to Tashkent, but that's okay. Beautiful terrace and well-kept garden. Investments are visible :)
But! The service database is not closed at all! We were a group of 10 people, 14.02 from 19.00 on the second floor. The kitchen was overloaded and the waiters couldn't cope. Friday evening, no one expected an influx :(
According to the facts: the hodgepodge was brought cold, sour cream was waited for another 10 minutes (they forgot), they forgot to bring one portion of the woman's Zina cutlets.... They didn't forget to include it in the bill :)
They apologized before leaving and paying. They offered dessert to the girls. They brought one on a plate :) And we were already on our way out. A curtain.

Food is carried for a very long time, despite the fact that there are few people. It's quite tasty, but the portions are small, but they cost a lot. The game room is not bad, and in general I respect restaurants with a game area, but why do they need a babysitter? Who sits in her chair on her phone and doesn't even look up when someone walks into the game room. I went in with my child and played with him inside, because there's only the name from the babysitter.

We realized late yesterday and started looking for a place to sit. It was time for corporate parties, so all our favorite places were packed to capacity. They offered Zinaida, a strange name for a restaurant, as for me, (I had not been there before) and surprisingly, a very beautiful restaurant with excellent cuisine, but it was half full.
As you might guess, they are supposedly prepared according to the recipes of a certain grandmother Zina. However, Baba Zina really knew a lot about food, as everything was very tasty and with a lot of emphasis on Russian cuisine. The bar menu is varied, although it seemed 10-15% more expensive than the competitors. High-quality service and a plus of only 10% instead of the traditional 20% for competitors, although Björn Regen still has as many as 10 points to 0%)

13.03.25, I decided to supplement and change the rating from 5 to 3. This is a consequence of recent campaigns with negative experiences. There are a lot of empty seats, but the waiters can't reach you. There are few smiles, as if they are doing a favor, not their job. The kitchen is pretty weak. Either it's always been like this, or it's gone bad. For such food, it's also expensive to add.
In addition, I will say that a week ago I read a post in the Consumer group.uz with a complaint about the institution. Surprisingly, there were more negative responses. Apparently, this is not a one-time action, and we are not the only unlucky ones. Well, I personally crossed this place off the list of visited places, since there are plenty of places in Tashkent.

The Beshbarmak was a success, not homemade, but very tasty and a large portion - you can safely take it for 2 people. There is no cumin in the meat, it is cooked as in Kazakhstan. It is served with a large amount of sorghum, for which special thanks.
The recommendation for the restaurant is that 1-2 balls of kurt in a separate bowl would be good for sorp.

I love this place and there is simply no better place!
A delicious meal for adequate money - yes, a child to play in a CLEAN game room, with a WONDERFUL babysitter - yes, to enjoy a cozy atmosphere - yes
And the service is like a guest. I like that I have never felt annoyed that they come up often or communicate impolitely.
But the most favorite is the menu. Portion size, appearance and aftertaste - that's what I'll come back for again and again.
It's nice to see how people come here to celebrate family holidays, as I think this is the best family restaurant in Tashkent. Thanks!

There is almost no parking, and whoever has managed to get there has done well. I've been there 3 times, of which 2 hostesses are not in place, there's a waiter who doesn't really know what's free and what's not.
The service is always slow, the waiters always try to serve well, explain everything. The steaks are very good in large chunks, and there are interesting salads. Overall, I'd give you a 4-plus, but I'll give you a 2. I arrived with desserts to take away and saw that a woman from the kitchen decided to take the desserts with her bare hands, when I asked to use tongs and appliances, she went deep into the kitchen, shouting that she needed gloves, the customer was harmful there, she did not allow her hands to take desserts.

Terrible service, ruined holiday!
It's a disgusting restaurant! We came for breakfast on March 8, hoping to have a cozy family morning, but everything was ruined from the very beginning. The dishes we ordered were mixed up, and they didn't bring what we ordered at all. The waiter behaved unprofessionally, making rude jokes and being sarcastic. The last straw was the phrase he said, "I'm going to drop everything and get your water," and we asked for it 40 minutes ago!!!!
But the worst part is the food. The draniki that we did manage to wait for were over-salted to the point of horror, literally inedible. In addition, they were black in color, clearly overcooked in a huge amount of oil. It's just a nightmare, not a dish!
But the most annoying thing is that the child was left hungry because his order was never delivered. We mixed up the dish, waited for an hour again, after the waiter came up and told us that he was on the menu, it was just a photo on their Instagram. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ As a result, instead of a festive breakfast with the family, we got a spoiled morning and a spoiled mood. I don't want to set foot here anymore, and I don't recommend it to anyone!
P.S. Of the advantages, I would like to mention only the beautiful design of the institution.

We waited an hour (!) for our order – salmon fillet and steak!
The cocktail was carried for 50 (!) minutes. A cocktail! Not a hot dish
But the worst part was with the steak. It was served an hour after the order. They also managed to MIX up the order. We asked for Rib Eye, but we brought Tibone!
Mixing up orders and cooking/carrying them for an hour is easy.
They tried to solve the situation on Instagram, but even there they managed to confuse my review. It turned out that a customer named Irina also had problems with the order - but her food was too salty!!
Is it worth going to this institution? Definitely NOT WORTH IT!

I visited the restaurant recently and was delighted! The interior of the restaurant is simply amazing - a cozy atmosphere, retro design and pleasant colors create the perfect place for dinner. The staff was very attentive and friendly, the service was top notch. And most importantly, the kitchen was pleased with real masterpieces! The dishes were not only beautifully served, but also incredibly delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for those who appreciate good cuisine, pleasant interior and excellent service.

It's not a bad place. Of course, the herring vinaigrette used to be shocking, but then they got used to it. It's a good playground for children, but somehow I was embarrassed when the babysitter asked me to pay for her work by coming to our table.
We were repeatedly asked to put parchment under the pizza, because while it was being brought to our table, the bottom was melting and the dough was getting wet, all in vain.
I really like the pasta in this place and the fish is cooked well.

The waiter placed our order at 13:05. As a result, I already brought orders to everyone else, and those who ordered breakfast waited longer than an hour. And of course, we need to work on the menu, because there are no grammars in it, there are no pictures and we have to check everything with the waiters. I took a burger. For Russian money, this is more than 1000 rubles. The burger is small. The cutlet is dry. They did not ask about the degree of roasting. I didn't like it. The chicken, which is with chestnuts and spinach, was a little dry. Therefore, it is expensive to eat, but the recipe needs to be cut. Prices certainly do not smell of democracy) The menu is quite capacious, but there is no highlight, there is nothing unique. Even despite the very peculiar presentation of dishes and their original names. And the location of the restaurant is also not the most top-end. No, I will not say that in general in some kind of Darkness, but nevertheless not the Navel of the Earth, of course) the landscapes around are solid construction sites. Add the road here as well, as after the bombing, and you will already think about whether it is worth sawing there.

We gathered with the girls today, decided for a long time, chose this place because of the playground. The salads are delicious, but the portions are very small, well, there are no questions about them. Here are the second courses and the pizza is very strange, a little dry, it was not delicious. The check is above 1000.000, for a couple of hot dishes, 4 types of salad, 3 types of dessert, tea and compote, I think it's not worth it) And it was very noisy, loud music, they didn't hear themselves, they had to yell, for such establishments I think quiet pleasant music should play.
Among the advantages: a playground, a room for mother and child, you can safely change a diaper and feed, as well as polite waiters and interior, dishes, everything is very beautiful and tasteful! But I think I'm unlikely to come in a second time. Usually the interior attracts once, the second time I go in to have a meal, but it's a pity to eat and pay dearly😅
I live opposite, I couldn't come in, and often reading negative reviews, I thought I definitely wouldn't come in😅 But for some reason today, my friends and I decided, despite the reviews, to go and sit, view and try!

An interesting conceptual interior, as I understood it, reflecting the connection of generations in the work and in the life of the founder of The Chef Group, Artyom Marchenko. The same idea is on the menu. From the main menu, we tried borscht, turkey fillet with potatoes, burger and chicken soup. Food for 3-4. The balance is not observed, either too salty or a lot of spices. The turkey is a little dry and it has clearly been overexposed on the fire. Prices like in Moscow - there is nothing to compare with yet - this is the first place where we came to have dinner in Tashkent. The service is almost premium, but unobtrusive. Clean toilets with Zielenski&Rosen products - just wow)) There is a high chair for children, a playroom with a babysitter, but there is no children's menu (In general, everything is perfect except food. Maybe that's how we got there. Let's go back and try other positions.

By the way, the kitchen as a whole is very good. I tried almost everything on the menu. Some dishes from the "Cousin" are missing, for example beef rib.
I regularly order fast food at home:
The burger is definitely the best in Tashkent. The guys do not have enough Almaty experience (it has already closed) Craft&Kitchen. If we had clarified their fat proportions, we would have gone head and shoulders ahead.
Pizza is also the best in Tashkent, no one can get closer than 5 steps. Believe me, I've tried a lot.

The food is tasteless - dry, unsalted, sugary. The fish is cherished. The coffee is old, overcooked.
With an externally beautiful interior, a low level is felt. Unfriendly waiters. Staff walking around the hall with mops. Cheap Chinese soap is spilled in Zelinski cans in the toilet, or it's some kind of fake Zelinski.
