Beware of Turkish Airlines. I was flying to an important event. I bought a ticket for a flight with my wife. This flight arrived at Nice airport with a reserve, so that we would have time to meet our family. I bought a ticket for this flight, despite its high cost, almost three times more expensive than the next flight. When my wife and I were sitting on the plane and waiting for boarding to complete, airline employees approached us and said that my seat headrest was damaged and I would not be able to fly this flight. My wife and I were forcibly thrown out of the plane and told that we would be compensated for the cost of the ticket and sent on the next flight. We walked with an employee of the company for an hour at the Istanbul airport, we were not refunded for the ticket and were given a paper by which we can receive compensation and were told that this can only be done at the airline's ticket office. The next flight was delayed for three hours, we spent more than 8 hours at the airport. We were late for an important family event! Several months passed and I contacted the Turkish Airlines ticket office several times, each time I was given the answer, yes, we must pay you, but we do not have cash in such an amount. Beware of Turkish Airlines if time and health are important to you. This was the most rude attitude. Be vigilant, avoid such service!
