Yesterday I placed an online order for pickup, and while the experience ultimately ended well, the initial interaction with the cashier was quite disappointing.
After presenting my order confirmation, the cashier remained at her desk, seemingly doing nothing for an extended period. It was unclear whether she was new and unfamiliar with the process or simply uninterested in assisting me. This left me feeling uncomfortable and neglected.
Fortunately, another staff member, who appeared to be the team leader, noticed my situation. She quickly and efficiently resolved the issue, as it turned out my order was already prepared and readily available on a shelf just beside the cashier. Her professionalism and attentiveness were commendable, and she salvaged what could have been a very frustrating experience.
While I appreciate the swift and helpful intervention of the team leader, the initial encounter with the cashier left a negative impression. I hope that the staff receives proper training and guidance to ensure all customers receive prompt and courteous service.
