Cozy, responsive service.
While some rooms are being renovated (not a minus, keep in mind).
The food is simple, but very tasty.
The plumbing is mediocre.
The location of the hotel has its pros and cons, it suited us.
Perhaps this will be critically important to someone, the proximity to the airport imposes increased noise, it did not bother us. After a day of walking, we slept soundly.

I liked spending the night here before going to the city of Karaganda. 1. Close to the Airport or Railway station of Almaty-1.
2. Polite staff, always smiling, always punctual, tactful.
3. The room has a TV, air conditioning, refrigerator (although it did not work in ours) and a safe. The room is Standard.
4. The hotel has Breakfast, Sauna, fitness equipment.
Minuses:
1. In addition to the cost already paid, you need to pay a tourist fee. Not included in the price!
2. Proximity to the airport precludes normal sleep, for those who are light sleepers. Planes fly frequently, low and loud.
3. The water pressure in the room is not large enough (if you get plenty of soap, you will have to wash it off for a long time).. But at around 21:00 p.m., the water does not run out of the watering can, it REALLY DRIPS. +/- You can wash comfortably early in the morning and late at night.
4. Sooo slow Wi-Fi. It is so slow that it is impossible to use it.
5. It will take 45 minutes to get to the "civilization" by trolleybus or bus to Abai. A taxi without traffic jams will take you in half an hour.

Renion - located near the airport, if you reserve in advance, you can check in at night. The hotel building has a swimming pool, gym, sauna, which are included in the price. Buffet breakfast from 7:00-10:00 Almaty time. The rooms are clean and spacious with good sound insulation (equipped with a mini fridge, electric kettle, air conditioning, TV with multiple channels). If necessary, you can ask for an iron and, in the absence of free time, go down to the laundry and iron your clothes yourself. The staff is friendly at the bar there is a mini restaurant with a good menu where you can order lunch or dinner (you can lick your fingers and the prices are normal). For those who like to sleep with the windows open, I do not recommend it because planes landing are very clearly audible (solved by closing the window and turning on the air conditioner :-), grocery stores cafes and restaurants are located nearby. You can get to the city by calling a Yandex taxi or by bus from a nearby bus stop.

We chose a hotel in the middle segment , we were not mistaken ! The hotel has a 3*., but it is quite suitable for 4*. For me , the most important thing is a clean room , without extraneous odors , the contingent is decent , and it was . The breakfasts are quite decent .

A terrible place. They were chosen by rating on the Booking service. The rating is unreasonably high. In fact, the hotel resembles a Soviet sanatorium that underwent a light renovation. The repair, to put it mildly, is shabby, the furniture is all upholstered, everything creaks, including the beds, which makes it extremely difficult to fully relax. The rooms are cold, the batteries were either cold or warm. The breakfast was disgusting, the dishes were partially split, the quality of the dishes left much to be desired - the cheapest sausages; bitter cottage cheese in pancakes; buns, apparently, have been cooked for a very long time - tough.
There is no elevator in the hotel, suitcases have to be lifted to the upper floors manually.
It was not comfortable to be there..
