The train station is clean and big. There is a timetable on the website and quite a few routes are indicated. But you can't buy a ticket online, you have to go to the train station. And most importantly, the flight schedule and their availability can only be checked at the train station itself or by calling by phone. Very often, the route is indicated on the website, but it is already closed.

Since I was going from Tashkent to Samarkand spontaneously, I couldn't get a plane ticket or a high-speed train. I decided to take the bus, and this turned out to be another quest. You can't buy an online ticket, you had to go to the bus station the day before. I liked the building itself: spacious, clean, cool, lots of ticket offices, fast service, clear navigation. The cashier explained in an accessible way about the time of daily flights, and about a ticket with an indication of the place (she gave a good one in the center of the salon – by the window to admire the cotton fields), and about the duration of the trip (although instead of the promised 4.5 hours, all 6 got there). But the cashier did not specify that the morning flight at 07:40 is not direct to Samarkand, but – hi! – to the village of Zhush. And the trip turned out to be tedious (although a large modern bus is well equipped, even music videos on two screens were played to cheer up), so amazing: people with trunks were getting on the bus all the time. As a result, there were so many people that people were standing in the aisle and sitting on plastic stools! In the end, the bus stopped at the "Bukhara patch – Ulugbek point", and a neighbor suggested that this was Samarkand. How is that? And where is the bus station? I had to take a taxi and get another 6 km to the old town in the Registan area. Summary: Tashkent bus station is good, and it is relatively inexpensive to go from it (53,000 soums / about 500 rubles), but for a long time
