It's just a very good location. Excellent design of the territory itself. The staff is very pleasant. I read the reviews and am very surprised that they write about food. There were 6 of us, everyone took different things and shish kebab, hominy, fish, solyanka and meat in Abkhazian and everyone was quite satisfied with the food. The prices are not budget, this is a fact. I will not write that it was the best barbecue in my life, but it is quite delicious like everything else. Take local dishes and you will not lose. And a meal with such a view, in principle, cannot be bad. We liked everything except the lack of Wi - Fi . More precisely, he is, but we only found out about it at the exit.
I DO NOT ADVISE YOU TO EAT HERE!!
It is located in a beautiful place, with stunning views of the river and the gorge. There are many places for guests, with different views and with air conditioning.
We bought a tour to Ritsa and the whole trip the guide praised this cafe (how delicious they cook there, prices are cheaper than on Lake Ritsa, beautiful views and the toilet is the cleanest), BUT it turned out that we were deceived with all of the above, except for the views. In addition, wherever we stopped for tasting and lunch, the guide has its own PERCENTAGE of sales.
As a result, I am disappointed with the tour, but the places are amazing.
Today we visited the Soyka Cafe. Very beautiful surroundings. Boxwood trees, mountain river. And that's where all the positives ended....A guide took us here for "breakfast" and offered to order lunch right away. We ordered Hashlama (it turned out to be the most edible dish), hominy with "pickles" - whoever tries it for the first time will never want it again, pickles are cabbage in Georgian and that's it! And the bean sauce. On the whole, it's disgusting. Borscht is a soup unknown to us in Abkhazia))) We didn't eat anything in the end. Drinks include compote and cognac. They didn't drink anything from the word at all. They gave 2,700 for all this. I do not advise you to make an order even with a guide. Buy somewhere on your Face, you will have a lot of time there.
This is a restaurant with a gorgeous view of the canyon. They have a cool track that makes great photos. There is also a very beautiful boxwood grove nearby, and a river below. The menu is standard, there's probably a lot of choice, but I didn't order anything there. We stop there often on the way to Rizza for a photo.
The cafe is located among the most beautiful mountains along the route to Lake Ritsa. The place is wonderful. The owners of the cafe have wonderfully equipped the territory. Here, above the mountain river, there is a glass bridge: in front of the mountains , under the feet of the river - it is impossible to forget! Everything is beautiful: terraces , comfortable furniture , territory, gazebos ... But "meat in Abkhazian"....
How can you spoil such a dish - I was surprised and the coffee is so-so..... But to walk around the territory, admire the trout fountain, walk along the glass bridge, breathe the boxwood air - it's worth stopping by.
We stopped at this cafe as part of a tour of Abkhazia in the hope of a delicious lunch in a hospitable atmosphere.
Expectations were not fulfilled.
At first, we were seated at uncomfortable long tables with narrow aisles between them. The order was accepted only ten minutes later. Then we reminded the waiters several times about our order. The waiters, of course, without any uniforms. After an hour of waiting, we received our order: tasteless pilaf with crumbled pieces of meat, tea in a dirty glass, more or less edible sleds and garlic sauce. Due to such a long service, our tour group was very late in this place.
The price of the dishes is like in a good cafe, but without a single quality characteristic of a good cafe.
Initially, a good impression of Abkhazia was greatly spoiled as a result of visiting this institution. I advise owners to think about it.
For tourists who plan to visit this place after the Ritz, I recommend looking for a place to have lunch at the Ritz - at least there are options there.
The view of the pleasant mountains from the cafe opens . The price does not match the quality at all. The reviews are all with low ratings , but the point is 0 . We were with my daughter the other day, I asked the waiter about the dishes, she said everything wrong, as a result, she did not eat what she wanted, also at an inflated price. The guide definitely has % of sales, when paying, they clarified who the guide is. Such an influx of tourists, you can at least learn how to cook delicious food and teach waiters to understand the menu. There is also a stop at Lake Ritsa during the tour, if desired, you can eat there
I agree with most of the reviews - a beautiful place and a bad attitude towards tourists, apparently especially to those who are on tour, because they are practically force-fed there) But for such a beautiful place, the food and service don't pull at all. We had trout with vegetables-the baked tomatoes were obviously rotten, sour, i.e. they are fed with spoiled products, then you can not even say anything. This is the country of the soul, it's good that at least not all Abkhazians treat tourists this way. If tourists are annoying, then why develop this area at all...do not make tours, close hotels and tourists will immediately become fewer. Turks probably don't like tourists very much either, but they realize that this is a source of income for their country, a contribution to its development, so they try to show hospitality and work.
A very beautiful place, as a separate attraction, with preserved boxwood trees, overlooking the mountain river.
The food was brought quickly, it was very tasty, the freshest baked bread, delicious fish, meat, be sure to try the fried cheese! The prices were also pleased, they write in the reviews that it is expensive, but I did not see something in other places trout for 500-600 rubles, salads and even some hot dishes for 350
I am sincerely surprised by such a large number of negative reviews. I did not plan to publish my impressions, but after reading the negative, I decided to write for the sake of justice
We visited the cafe for the same reason as most tourists: the guide brings us for lunch after an excursion to the Ritz. I will omit the details of the tour - it's not about that. It is a very beautiful place, the territory is well maintained, the service is fast. The price tag, I think, is the lower limit of the average. I really, really liked the Caucasian solyanka. Honestly, I've never tried such a hodgepodge before (I note that I often order this soup in different places - I just love it) My husband ate grub, and was also satisfied. The vegetable salad is fresh and large. The egg boat is also not bad (we are not trying it for the first time) The trout on the grill turned out perfectly. At the end of lunch, we came to the conclusion that it was the most enjoyable part of the trip, apart from the magnificent views. I recommend the place.
NEVER DINE HERE!!! We were taken to this "wonderful amazing picturesque beautiful place" during a tour of Abkhazia, first for breakfast (something between a Sverdlovsk puff and bread, cheap tea in a bag), and offered to order lunch immediately. when we bought the tour, the realizer praised this cafe very sincerely, so we agreed. we chose shish kebab, grilled trout, salad "Parisian" and vegetable. and it was such a sooooo trash!! I would never have thought that Abkhazians could cook shish kebab so badly - it was hard, dead, and cut with great difficulty. It's like they fried it three weeks ago, forgot it on the table, then took it and heated it in the microwave. trout are tasteless, fresh, watery, and also died a long time ago. serving is generally a fire: micro-plates, from which everything jumps out, runs away when you cut (especially wooden pieces of shish kebab). fried potatoes are not tasty. But the cherry on the cake is salads! is it possible to spoil a vegetable salad with sour cream?? The answer is YES! Parisian - vegetables with cherished cheese, which stank of the refrigerator (is it really so difficult to store food properly?). vegetable - with sour cream, which was so thick that it lay in lumps. it is not only impossible to do this, but also terrible for the consequences. the total bill is 2 thousand rubles. we did not short-count - at least thanks for that)) A separate kind of art is the toilet. more precisely, the Genoa bowl, it's a hole in the floor. Are you serious?? that is, you have a lot of halls, banquets, feasts, and a normal toilet is not provided - do guests have to squat down?? Do you live in the Stone Age? in general, the place is terrible! even despite the picturesque location, I do not recommend it.
We were at 11/23/2024. Beautiful location. The dishes are small, the prices are Sochi level. The quality of the kitchen is low (I had heartburn all day after lunch). My wife and I left the establishment with lightened wallets, an empty stomach and a bad mood.
Conveniently located along the way.
Fast service, almost immediately.Cleanliness, beautiful decoration on the territory-everyone is photographed.
You can set up separate tables in the building and on the street. The staff is polite and friendly.Parking and toilet. Special thanks for the beautifully cooked dishes (this is not the first time we have eaten there). Delicious barbecue. And what kind of "boats" they bake!- notice in the oven.
There is a sufficient selection of drinks.
Loyal prices. And there is live music
It's a disgusting place, the only plus is the beautiful view. The pork kebab tastes terrible and is all fat and veins. The service is almost at zero - we waited for the order for almost an hour. Tea is poured into dirty mugs. The most inconvenient long tables, you constantly have to let people through to sit down. Those who go on tour - it's better to take snickers, and it's healthier and tastier
A very beautiful cafe, where the owner has preserved boxwood trees with his own efforts, there are tables overhanging the river gorge - a very beautiful view, not very expensive and, in principle, delicious (well, as they say, all enemies taste and color), I liked it!
Very long service.
The mug of tea was brought dirty, I ran a white napkin over the mug that was brought - someone's lipstick was left on the napkin. It's disgusting.
The food itself is tasteless, the prices are clearly overpriced, do not correspond to what you expect. We were brought to this place with a tour of Abkhazia, unfortunately, there were no alternatives where we could have a snack elsewhere.
I do not recommend visiting.
During the tour of Abkhazia, they were brought to this institution, While they left a pre-order 2 hours in advance, but no one even stirred to cook it!
There are no words about the food, because it is difficult to call what is served in this institution food, even the local cats, to whom I gave everything, refused to eat it! The staff did not want to do or solve anything with food quality issues!
I do not advise anyone to go there, do not be fooled by Abkhazian persuasions!
We stopped by this "wonderful" cafe together with the guide. We ordered a barbecue, the sauce needs to be bought separately for 200 rubles. Although in normal establishments it goes with the dish! So instead of tomato sauce, they will bring you a "loose" tomato paste. Shish kebab, as previously written, is wooden, bland and tasteless. By the way, the kebab was made of mutton. Next, I ordered a cucumber and radish salad, I don't understand why I should add sour cream there!!!Instead of dogwood compote, they brought a glass of karkade. The toilet is trash. If you are nearby, drive boldly without looking back.
A very good cafe, of course, the hostess will not run to meet you as in restaurants, but the service is fast, the food is very tasty, and it is like a separate natural attraction, there will be magnificent views of the mountain river, boxwood grove, flowers
The place and nature are beautiful, BUT the cuisine is DISGUSTING!!!!! We were on an excursion , ordered hominy , and brought something unknown (a flatbread with dried cheese on top, it was impossible to eat ( but the price was 500 rubles . The waiters have an unpleasant attitude, everyone is waiting for money... and you're just superfluous there, they don't recommend eating in this cafe!!!!! but the territory is very beautiful!!
Absolutely terrible kitchen. If an excessively high price can be somehow understood and justified, then the quality of the dishes defies any justification. For example, khachapuri costs 500 rubles for 200 grams, a very small portion. And for this money you will get tasteless dough and cheese of very poor quality.
Meat in Abkhazian-it is stated that the portion weight is 300 grams, but it is far from the case)
Pork is hard to spoil, but they did it. The meat is not tasty, with huge chunks of fat. The kebab was not bad, a solid three, but again the price will surprise you unpleasantly.
Of the advantages, only the location is a very beautiful place, but on the other hand, where is it ugly in Abkhazia?)
I want to note that the review is written on the basis of several visits.
In general, if you are traveling in a group, ask the guide to take you to another place - spoiler: he will not agree. Among the guides, it is clearly distributed which places to "recommend" to tourists
Good cafe, very atmospheric, fast service, delicious food. The area is very beautiful. There is a request, do not let a young man in rubber boots and old clothes clean the dishes in the hall, well, this is very not beautiful! And so all the best to you.
Quiet horror. Don't ever go there! Sooo expensive and not tasty! The guide specially brings you there, by agreement! The staff is not well-mannered, they turn to you! It's cold and uncomfortable! Tour operator Arthur Tour
It's a terrible place, a barbecue that you would think should be able to cook deliciously - just no, hard, tasteless marinade. The order was waited for an hour, despite the fact that only an hour was allocated for lunch on the tour. Dirty dishes - check before you start eating.
If you are going on a tour, take food with you.
This is the second time we visit this cafe, a wonderful place, very beautiful views🥰 we ordered trout and vegetables on the grill - you can lick your fingers, it's cooked perfectly 👍
An interesting cafe.
The food here is not good, dear.
The toilets are terrible.
But of course the view from behind the table is gorgeous. They were delivered after the tour, when paying, you still need to say from which guide)))
The place is beautiful, the food is tasteless and expensive, whoever brings it has their own percentage. After the cafe, we stopped in Gagra at a cafe there and the prices are much lower, but it's not near the coast and it's delicious.
Beautiful location with views of the mountains and the river, well-groomed and picturesque territory. But at the same time, disgusting food spoils the whole impression, it feels like the pig from which the barbecue was made was a long-lived and died a natural death, and found its peace a long time ago. The salads are terrible, the ingredients were obviously stored incorrectly, the cheese was smoked, the sour cream was in lumps.
The place is beautiful - 10 out of 10. But you won't get enough of one kind. Macaroni and cheese waited 30 minutes. As a result, they brought boiled ones, not all the children even began to eat. Aluminum devices. The pitch is poor. The royal trout consists of a "royal feed": half a cucumber and a tomato are sliced along the edges. Solyanka with tender meat, kharcho soup with bones. The biggest disappointment of the whole trip to the Ritz. He was recommended by the drivers of the minivan, where, as it turned out, they are fed for free.
I liked the area, the cafe itself. But the dishes are just a nightmare, they ordered pilaf, it's COMPLETELY meat-free, just carrots. The vegetables are terrible, yellow cucumbers. The pitch itself. They ordered coffee, mixed it up and brought tea. We were in a hurry, there was no time to figure it out and wait...I do not recommend it!
Top! On the Gagra-Ritsa highway, the river bank in the canyon. A picturesque view, there is a place to take picturesque photos. The kitchen is really great, it works fast, but it doesn't reflect on the cross. Trout - order it, you won't regret it. Everything that was ordered is very tasty and the portions are, let's say, decent. The service is also on the level, not to say that they will run after you and catch your every glance, but plus / minus everything will be smooth, at a calm and respectful level.
Even if you are not going to the Ritsa, you will be in Abkhazia, be sure to visit, you will like it. (I liked it, I do not really know if you will like it). Ask for dishes "locally", it will be better.
The food is not tasty, it is impossible to eat
There was a fish eye floating in the soup of the fish soup!!!!
I hope this is a cafe (if you can call this place that) it will close and will no longer feed tourists with slops!
The view is gorgeous. The kitchen is disgusting and expensive. Pilaf - small portion (carrot pilaf) I do not know how it was possible to spoil the pilaf.
Smoked meat 5 pieces the size of 1/3 of a matchbox, as a result, hard dry, fried meat floating in oil (smoked meat was ordered). Well, the cherry was poisoned in the evening for the third day, we vomit and revile.
The cafe is beautiful, the food is ordinary. But... There are two waiters for four halls. The girls were falling off their feet. There are no complaints about them. Full planting all year round. The order was waited for an hour and a half. There were 40 of us.They didn't bring it in turns. The floor is cold. One was replaced, the other after 40 minutes. They tried to pay for 400 rubles. Fortunately, I saw the prices, and I counted them myself. He said, oh, I was probably mistaken. And with our group, it's only on three orders. The others may not have noticed. So, I don't really advise you to sit in a cold gazebo in the spring, and count the money. This is Caucasian hospitality)
The establishment is below average. The nature is very beautiful and the location is convenient. That's where the advantages end. There is no food, below the level of the dining room. We ordered trout on the grill, the fish is dry as a cork, vegetables on the grill are hard to spoil, pita bread is more like a bun, it was delicious, fried cheese is not delicious. I was also impressed by the "singer", it is necessary to make discounts for visitors or give out earplugs. The wine is terrible, it smells of alcohol, the bottle was not opened in front of us. They didn't take the risk. They gave 2,500 for two for everything. If you go into the "restroom" before you sit down at the table, I assure you, you will not get to the table))
The cafe is located in an incredibly beautiful place, which is why our company wanted to visit this institution. But the kitchen leaves much to be desired: tasteless, bland, etc. I do not recommend this place for eating, if only to admire the beauty.
We had lunch at this cafe yesterday. The food is very expensive and not the most delicious. But this is not the most insulting thing. After this institution, they were poisoned. The view is beautiful, all the advantages. I do not recommend it for visiting.
We brought them to this cafe when we were on an excursion. The place is very picturesque, the advantages end there. The declared pastry, which was included in our breakfast, turned out to be a salty bun with raisins, sprinkled with powdered sugar on top. We waited a long time for lunch, ordered khachapuri nart, it tasted and looked more like an Ossetian pie. I do not recommend visiting (
It is located in a beautiful and picturesque place. We stopped by with an excursion on the road from Lake Ritsa. We were served for a VERY long time, considering the fact that we left our orders on the way to the lake. And when they brought it, the pilaf was cold, the khachapuri "boat" was relatively edible, it was difficult to call black tea in a teapot for 300 rubles, it felt like it had been brewed 4 times before us. We got the barbecue when the whole group started loading onto the bus, and then only when we ourselves approached the distribution.
I do not recommend visiting!!! It's a terrible place. They were brought during the lunch tour. We ordered meat in Abkhazian. As a result, they fell ill for several days with poisoning.
A cool place with beautiful views. The food is ordinary and delicious. When you come with an excursion, they serve you quickly enough, but maybe it's just not in season (we were at the end of March).
It's a great place. Everything is clean, well maintained and beautiful. In this regard, the owners have tried very hard, well done. But the kitchen is terrible, I have never tasted worse than a barbecue. Very sorry
1 star for the view, it's beautiful.
Shish kebab is dry
The kharcho is empty
Khachapuri with a super thin layer of cheese.
The whole family was poisoned by the bonus.
I was on a tour of Abkhazia, not only are the prices above the head, but the staff is terrible. I waited ten minutes for sugar, and eventually I had to go myself and look for sugar. I didn't like the meat, and the choice is small, terrible.
We were at this cafe yesterday when we went on an excursion. The view from the terrace is impressive, that's it! Their revenue is at the expense of tourists, because all buses stop only there for lunch.
The service is terrible, the food is too, and the prices are very overpriced for this horror that visitors receive!
We ordered 2 chicken soups, which the waitress successfully spilled, not completely, of course, so no one began to replace them))) Special thanks for the FLY in the soup!
The ear was mostly made up of bones
The juice was brought the wrong one. Khachapuri was probably made from old and fresh dough, because it crunched with each mowing.
The toilet is terrible. The singer who performs there doesn't hit a single note.
In general, if you want to spoil your impression of Abkhazian food, then you are here))
the Over service is long. We made a pre-order, arrived at the appointed time and waited another hour and a half, hungry to the point of impossibility, then orders began to be delivered and not those that were booked 👍🫣
The level of the cafe is just in the red, you won 't see this even in a remote, God -forsaken village
At the same time, the space prices (for such an institution), the service is simply not worthy of any attention, except for the negative
The child was poisoned - they ordered an excursion From Apsua tour to the Ritz, on the way the driver brought it to this cafe. Tk there is no Internet, there was no opportunity to read about this cafe. We didn't warn you in advance. In the evening, the child became ill, found reviews and was horrified - HOW DOES the COMPANY CHOOSE A CAFE FOR TOURISTS?????
It's disgusting that it hasn't been closed yet.
Toilets are holes in the floor, a nightmare. The smell is disgusting, there is no toilet paper.
I also left a review to the travel agency, they spoiled our rest. If there was an opportunity, I would put a rating of "-10".

Disgusting food and boorish attitude!
Sightseeing routes from Lake Ritsa are brought here and absolutely in vain, after visiting such an institution I do not want any more excursions!!!
When trying to explain what is wrong with their food, someone Rezo D. yelled at me, apparently he was afraid that I would not pay at all, and then decided to fence off, starting to close the blinds. I guess I'm not the first and last person who tried to figure out the quality of the dishes offered to visitors with them.
