The interior of the museum is a single large space. The museum is small, with one hall on the ground floor and a hall on the second floor. An updated exhibition has been opened in the Art Museum since January 2023. The permanent exhibition features works by Georgian and foreign artists of the 19th and 20th centuries from the museum's collection. On the ground floor of Aivazovsky's Frigates. From Georgian classics by Niko Pirosmani. On the second floor there are modern works by local artists. The museum was impressive, the exposition is small, but very interesting. The entrance fee is GEL 6.

I often visit this museum, take the children to the children's museum art therapy (you can find me in the telegram by my name). I really appreciate the museum and the staff for helping to develop creativity among children and guests: on the ground floor there are tables and ottomans for work right in the halls of the museum, on the second floor I sit with the children on my pads, we work carefully on our tablets, draw with pencils and discuss paintings, and the workers just look at us kindly. Come and create! For an adult tour, you will need no more than 30 minutes: look at everything and read the descriptions (take a phone with a translator). Admission is inexpensive. There is a piano on the ground floor, you can play. There is no toilet in the museum. On weekends, you can see weddings: young people like to be photographed in the walls of the classical museum ;) They work every day, but in accordance with the Georgian calendar (the museum is closed on Georgian weekends). There is a gallery next to the museum, there are fresh exhibitions, they are constantly changing and it seems that admission is free.

A typical regional museum. The exhibition is small, but diverse, and the price is adequate. I think the museum is more focused on introducing local schoolchildren to art. The museum occupies two floors: Western art on the ground floor and Georgian art on the second floor. The entire volume can be seen immediately at the entrance, you don't even need to pay, which allows you to get a price right away. You probably won't find anything significant here, but you can find a couple of interesting paintings for yourself. Next to each painting there is a QR code with a link to the description in Georgian and English. In the end, I was satisfied, because I didn't expect much from this museum.
