Excellent rooms and decoration of the hotel inside, pretentious and expensive facade, the very center of New Athos, a cafe in Italian motifs below, a clean beach fifty meters away.
Among the disadvantages: the lack of its own parking, - the car can be parked on the roadway (but the locals fly obscenely simply), or on the central square. The windows of the rooms of the front part overlook the sea coast, it is beautiful and pleasant. The windows located at the back of the hotel building overlook a fetid ravine built up with some kind of chicken coops, so it is extremely important to discuss this before checking in.
The cafe is very expensive by local standards and the staff in it apparently works only by pure chance, that's how they work at Buckingham Palace)).
To lay out the order, the waiter, who was distorted with discontent, had to wait 20 minutes, and then the order itself was another 50! However ...
there is no playground and there is absolutely nowhere to let the children out - there is a beautiful park very close by, but you can only get there through streets with very heavy traffic.
The mountain river Psyrtskha, which flows three meters from the hotel, despite the current resembles a green and fetid Limpopo - there is a concrete channel, well, at least it was cleaned.
Bottom line: the hotel is excellent, but the place for it was chosen very poorly.

We were on New Year's holidays.
Pros: nice rooms, great view from the window, polite staff, hot water without interruptions.
Minuses: 1) Disgusting sound insulation, you can hear everything. 2) Rooms with sea views are very noisy, because there is a road right under the windows (take the mountain view). 3) Poorly cleaned. For 4 nights, they cleaned 1 time after my request, while not washing the dishes.

We rested from 06.06.2021 to 06/10/2021, a standard room was selected, issued through the tour operator tui. Upon arrival, we were surprised to realize that they did not have our confirmed number. There are no rooms available for our dates at all. The receptionist said that there had been a technical glitch and suggested a hotel in pitsunda. We booked this hotel on March 19th, and we were offered pitsunda. The most interesting thing in front of us was that the guys were placed in two other rooms, and it looked like they came from the street. In the end, we didn't go anywhere. We were able to offer rooms in this hotel, but we had to move to a new room every day. As a result, in 4 days we managed to live in a suite, standard plus and semi-suite. It was overshadowed by the fact that on the last day we were given a room in a bungolo in a nearby hotel where the wifi did not work properly and there was no kettle. It overshadowed the rest. About the Athos Hotel, of the minuses, I can note that all the rooms had stained carpets. It was not very pleasant to walk on them. I advise you to stay only in suites or junior suites. I recommended the owners of the hotel to put things in order with the check-in, so as not to worsen the situation with customers. I will probably not return to the Resort.

A big name, a hotel about nothing. To arrive at 2 am and make the bed well, it's gorgeous, isn't it? There was no bottled water in the room, they were in the hallway on the cleaner's cart, another plus, isn't it?didn't clean for 4 nights of stay, gorgeous, isn't it? There seems to be Parking, but it is not officially there, and it is not clear where to put the car and the staff is not interested in much, again, what is not? Well, the price of 25 thousand for 4 nights is a gift, or am I picking on it?

Excellent staff, excellent location, a good restaurant on the ground floor (breakfast from the hotel in it), comfortable rooms, good cleaning, safe, towels, hairdryer, TV, sockets by the bed, the view from the window is excellent. There are no disposable slippers, we took them with us. An airport shuttle service is available from the hotel. We were unlucky - we stood for a long time at the border in traffic. I think we need to take two taxis - to the border and after the border.

Everything would be fine, both the rooms and the location, but the cleaning...she is not there, for 5 days no one has cleaned anything, even the garbage has not been taken out, after complaining to the reception, the administrator took out the garbage himself, but damn, this is not his job?!the cleaner definitely needs to be changed, you can clean all the rooms in a whole day, there are not so many of them.We stay in this hotel every time we come to Athos: 2-3 times a year, but this is the first time such a mess has happened with cleaning.

Strong 3 stars. Attentive staff. But the inconvenient location near the highway makes it uncomfortable to stay in rooms with sea views - the constant noise of passing vehicles. Rooms with mountain views do not have this disadvantage and are very comfortable.

A nice and new hotel! Great location! I give a rating of 3 only for the fact that during the 7 days of our stay, the garbage was taken out 1 time and the room was cleaned once, although the hotel charter states that cleaning is done daily. The sign (please clean the room) hung for three days and it didn't help. Our neighbors simply began to put a full bag of garbage in the hallway outside the door, and then we were even more surprised - upon returning from the sea to our room (it was 4 o'clock), the package was still standing in the hallway.
There is also a very strange young man working at the reception! On the first day of our stay, when we left the room, he asked us (are you so cheerful in life or is it from wine) although we don't drink at all. Then he pestered me all week with one question (why are we sober). I also gave a lecture on the use of shorts (they were denim to the knees, but a little bit with a scuff on the knee), they say it is strictly forbidden to walk in this... I don't mind, but a week later, vacationers and our neighbors walked around us in more provocative outfits.
