The hotel is nice, but unpretentious, the renovation is old, but clean, the room has everything you need. Plus, for the good location, close to the center, they give a discount coupon for visiting the botanical garden upon check-in, although we did not go there. We were also warned that the hotel is departmental, so if we stay late, warn the concierge to open the door.
In general, everything is not bad, especially the price of accommodation. The only thing that was strange to see was a Chinese cafe inside (this is not a minus, it's just that an ordinary dining room with mashed potatoes and cutlets, and accordingly with comparable prices, would be more suitable for such a hotel). By the way, the food is very tasty, but the prices...
Stayed for 2 nights, liked everything:very simple rooms, not new, but clean, the administrators are trying to help with the check-in, solve emerging issues. Near the metro, Cornflowers.. I recommend it to those who appreciate simplicity and comfort for reasonable money
Among the obvious advantages: a roof over your head, the price per room, proximity to the center.
Of the obvious disadvantages: everything is clear from the photos of the interiors.
P.S. I propose a rebranding: from "Academic" to "Student". It will be more honest with the guests and zero high expectations :)
Excellent location, there are many intelligent people around and inside, this is a rarity today. A magnificent botanical garden, such a careful, even reverent attitude towards flora. There are friendly receptionists at the reception, which brightens up the "sovkovost" of the hotel. We liked everything! If we are still in Minsk, we will stop here. A minus star is for the noise during the repair.
An inexpensive, conveniently located hotel near the metro station "Academy of Sciences", within walking distance of the Euroopt chain store, TSUM, McDonald's, educational institutions, aquarark Freestyle across the street, an amusement park. It's a little noisy in the rooms facing the road, but in principle it's not critical. On the 1st floor there is a cafe (Chinese cuisine). You can invite guests, access is round the clock. The staff is very friendly.
I liked the hotel. I want to come there again. It was a great room. Two-room apartment. On the second floor. Clean, cozy. TV, refrigerator. The car was parked right under the windows. The staff is polite and talkative. I only found out later that 2 stars.!!!
Conveniently located. Not in the center, but on Independence Avenue, opposite the park. Great!
Very clean and cozy budget hotel. For a penny, a cozy room. Polite staff. One of the disadvantages is good audibility - you can hear not only conversations in the next room, but also what the interlocutor says on the phone
A good inexpensive economy class hotel. Without unnecessary bells and whistles. Clear. Comfortably. However, the area is remote and there is no convenient Parking. I advise you!
We are staying at this hotel for the second time, reasonable prices per room, the room is cozy and clean. Spending the night is just fine. They give a coupon at the reception for a discount to the botanical garden, which is located opposite. It's a small thing, but it's nice)
A cheap option where you can stay on a business trip, there is nothing more to write, like an average apartment for rent in Minsk or worse, the TV is small, the decoration is old, there is no more refrigerator and kettle among the advantages.
I had a lot of fun during the few days I spent at the Akademicheskaya Hotel...))) Both the location and the conditions of the hotel itself are excellent ...)))
Since August 2023, I have been staying at the hotel for 4 days every 2 months. The single rooms (I haven't seen any others) are cozy and compact. The staff is friendly.
Clear. Heat. The staff is very friendly. The accommodation is comfortable and quiet and the city center. All necessary communications are nearby. I highly recommend it to everyone. And, of course, we were pleasantly surprised by the discounted prices.
We were in August, room 2 rooms, very cozy, new furniture, fresh renovation, quiet and calm, at home. Of the advantages, it is close to the metro, almost in the center. The staff is friendly
Not far from the center. A quiet, peaceful place. The room stock is a little tired, but everything is in order. Everything you need is available. There is a Chinese-style cafe run by a Chinese man. The breakfast is hearty: scrambled eggs, 2 sausages, salad, tea and cheese, all for 10 local rubles. The price of accommodation is affordable, although in Brest there are better conditions in the hotel for this money.
An excellent hotel for a minimum price.
The only drawback is that odd numbers face the street with a large traffic flow and it is noisy with the window open.
"Red" price, for a double room, taking into account the situation inside, no more than 60 rubles. The situation in the room is not far away from the "Hostel", only the price is higher. It is better to stay in a Hostel in Minsk for a day, for 35-45 rubles, than to pay already 90 for the same room.
Near the metro, almost the center of Minsk, it is not expensive, but there is no air conditioning, it is noisy with open windows, stuffy with closed ones
There is a refrigerator, a TV, and a microwave in the lobby
A good hotel. It is the "hotel". The feeling of returning to Soviet times in the best sense of the word. Simple but clean and cozy rooms, friendly but unhurried staff, cleaning "sometimes". Excellent location. It takes 15 minutes by metro to the very center. There are several grocery stores and cafes within walking distance. There's a gas station nearby if you're driving. There are no problems with parking. In short, an excellent inexpensive option for travelers without any special claims. I recommend it!
The hotel is good , I don't know why they write it 's cold in the room , it was -20 degrees outside in the room , the staff is excellent , everything is clean and tidy .
The room is clean, there are two sheets on the bed, one rough on the mattress, the second clean, so there is a lot of hair on the rough. The room is located on the side of the road and it was very noisy. I'm not talking about the air conditioner, it's terribly hot. There are no masks. Price- quality) what can I say)) the staff is responsive.

Cheap enough for Minsk, close to the center, spacious rooms. Of the minuses, they save on heating
Inexpensive, almost in the center, near the metro
There are no air conditioners and it is noisy with the windows open, stuffy when closed
Otherwise, no complaints
A good budget hotel in the city center. The rooms are without pretensions, but very clean: crisp sheets, comfortable mattresses. For its price, great. The staff is very friendly. There is a coffee machine in the lobby, a microwave, a hairdryer and an iron can be taken at the reception.
The Soviet atmosphere both at the reception and in the rooms.
The rooms are spacious, relatively clean, and it was quiet.
Cons: Soviet-style furniture, colored towels, old scratchy blankets with someone else's hair, poor lighting.
A good hotel. Friendly staff. The location is close to the metro. The room is clean, but the only thing is, there are no hotel hygiene kits. You need to have shampoo, toothpaste and other things with you.
Good location. The single room is not bad. Three towels are provided. There is one plate, one glass, an electric kettle, a refrigerator in the room. However, the tank is leaking, the light in the hallway is not working. There is not enough kitchen
