We went to Cairo and were very, very satisfied🔥
We took an individual tour in order not to depend on others and save time spent on shopping trips. We visited the museum with our guide, who told us a lot about Egypt, then a walk along the Nile, lunch and we spent 3 whole hours on the pyramids. We could have done more, but we are already tired 😂

The child fell asleep immediately, so he did not realize that it was a long road. The tour costs money that was paid, nothing extra was paid, all tickets were paid. A walk along the Nile, as mentioned, is $ 10, and we also took a sightseeing tour of the Pyramids, this is to look at and take a photo of the view of all the pyramids at once, it costs $ 10, but it's worth it. We went with my son (5 years old) On safari, we just got a storm of emotions! We rode quadricycles, then drove to the Bedouin village in cars, rode camels there, tasted tortillas and tea. They took us back, then we switched to a buggy and the emotions doubled after the quadricades)) then they gave us delicious food and showed us a show. We took an individual tour according to the 5th program (Karnak Temple, Hatshepsut Temple, Hathor Temple in Dendera.). The driver arrived on time. In February 2025, my husband and I traveled from Hurghada to Luxor on a 2-day trip, including a hot air balloon flight.
First, about the Albatross itself. You can put 10 out of 10 here. A great alternative to a hotel guide with a minimal surcharge. The operators respond very quickly, and all questions are answered in detail. We paid with a Russian card, everything went without problems, there is a small commission relative to the official dollar exchange rate. In general, we are completely satisfied.
All further information will relate to local guides and tour operators.
The beginning is about the good. The idea of the two-day program is excellent. Because Luxor deserves to spend two days of vacation on it. The historical sites are amazing, there is an opportunity to peek, even from the bus window, at the real life of modern Egyptians. We spent the night in a hotel in the city center, and it was very simple, but with everything you need and pleasant staff. I would also like to mention Nina, the guide on the first day: she worked clearly, without unnecessary importunity and additional sales. A hot air balloon flight will probably be remembered for a lifetime.: Luxor is beautiful at dawn. It took 30 minutes in time. By the way, it costs $45 on site, so the overpayment is small. Overall : absolutely no regrets about the money and time spent. The experience was worth it.
Now about the cons. The biggest disadvantage is the organization. And apparently it depends on the guide, as we got negative impressions on the second day, when Akhmet worked with us instead of Nina. The day began with waiting. And not in a hotel, but in a minibus. We waited over an hour for us to join the rest of the group. Instead of a large bus, we traveled on two mikriks. Because of this shift, we drove at a very fast pace through all the points. And at the end of our tour, we also waited for an hour for a bus to take us to the hotel. The tour itself was extremely confusing, sometimes completely incomprehensible, I advise you to read everything yourself in advance if you are interested in history.
The bus on the way back was very old, with sagging seats and, worse, my husband's seat belt was missing. There was nowhere to move. The driver was smoking during the trip, and the guide was talking loudly on the phone and watching videos - he couldn't sleep.
It's a very strange practice with additional excursions. It is not clear why this was done at all. If you didn't want to pay extra, just sit and wait and waste your time. It's very strange.
To summarize: the idea is cool, the execution is not very good. But there is no alternative for affordable money.

On a tour to the pyramids, I was unlucky with a guide, not a male, but some kind of laugh, he constantly sold out, told me little information, did not let me walk around the museum, constantly invited me to his place, did not allow me to really look at the exhibits, at that time he told all sorts of esoteric nonsense. He gave us an observation deck that supposedly couldn't be reached on foot, but in fact it was quite possible. In the end, we fell for it, paid and sat on these poor quilted camels, after which the Bedouin began to extort money. The situation was unpleasant to the point of tears, spoiling the whole impression of the attraction that I had dreamed of visiting all my life. Plus, they refused to open the toilet on the bus, somehow begged with swearing and complaining about health problems.
We were delighted with Dendera and Luxor. The guide was very good, talked a lot, offered additional excursions very unobtrusively, mostly people wanted to visit them themselves. In addition, the guide also went out to Luxor and tried to find panthenol in a pharmacy at the passenger's request.

After resting, we went to the valley of the queens, where we visited the temple of Queen Hatshepsut. The first day of sightseeing ended with a trip to banana island, where they saw a krakodila, an ostrich and monkeys and a large plantation of bananas. We were fed exotic fruits. Well-fed and satisfied, the guide took us to the Luxor hotel, where we were very welcome. The next day we had a hot air balloon meeting. It was unforgettable!!! After breakfast at the hotel, we were greeted by our new guide, Abdul. We went with him to the Luxor Temple. The guide is knowledgeable, competent and interesting, he was always with us and answered various questions. After lunch, our way lay to the funeral temple of Ramesses Iii, after which we climbed to the graves of the nobility in the rock caves. Abdula accompanied us everywhere and instructed us on safe visits to the tombs. After visiting the Alabaster Factory, we were transferred to a group that was heading to Hurghada. We would like to thank Albatros for the excellent organization of our wonderful two-day trip to Luxor. Below is our claim that they wrote in hot pursuit, everything is clear and to the point: We were supposed to have an excursion only to the tsvetnoy canyon, program 1, without swimming and riding camels and quadriceps (forgive the detailed conditions of our reservation that you sent), — as a result, you sent us to another the program. This is one time. Next, we waited for you at the hotel for 45 minutes, which is unacceptable to be so late. Then we kindly agreed to go to a program that we had not ordered. But in the end, we didn't get into the Canyon, it was your fault. The guide told us that the group would stay in the store on the edge of Dahab for 40 minutes. We took a walk in Dahab and returned exactly 38 minutes later, but the guide was offended that we did not go to the store and deliberately left without waiting for us. After that, we wrote to you and waited an HOUR for a clear answer that someone might come for us, after all. We waited an hour for this answer and then took a taxi, for which we eventually paid $25. There have been no apologies or offers of compensation from you. To be fair, I should have apologized, punished the asshole guide. Refund us the money for the taxi. We really liked it. We took a buggy and an ATV. They changed at the stops. As a result, my husband, me, and my 16-year-old son were driving. We chose the individual route very correctly: we did not travel in a column, there was less dust and it was more interesting.
Then we had tea with the Bedouins and rode a camel. The ride itself is very short, maybe a minute. The youngest son dreamed of riding a camel, he was allowed to ride twice, since our dad did not ride. They didn't take any extra money anywhere, except for photos and Arafat, but we knew about it. We were very satisfied with the tour itself. I did not remove the star, but I will write in the review: the transfer itself to the Bedouins and back is very nervous :) the driver was in a hurry, honking, etc. - standard unpleasant Egyptian driving.

Even if they are the stupidest questions in the world :) it is better to measure 7 times than to cut it off once!The tour starts in Cairo itself, before Cairo you just need to arrive at the airport and do simple actions, register, board a plane to arrive at the designated place. We were met by a transfer from the hotel, he kindly called in advance directly to the room and said that he was already waiting, we calmly packed up and headed to him! Upon arrival in Cairo, we were met by the guide at the exit of the airport, not at the exit of the arrival area! Keep in mind!

We were on an excursion to Cairo at the Pyramids on March 25.
At first, I thought that 8 hours on the bus was too much. It took me a long time to gather my strength. But it's a THRILL!

I was with my husband on an excursion from albatross on a submarine. Everything was organized SUPERBLY! Do not listen to the horror stories of the guides and take excursions only from this company. The prices are much cheaper, and most importantly, these prices correspond to the prices listed on the website. No extra charges! They were picked up from the hotel on time, brought to the pier. Then we were transferred to a yacht and we drove another 25 minutes to the submarine. We plunged into the depths to the fish. After that, we were given a certificate stating that we were diving to a depth of 25 meters in a submarine. A very pleasant and memorable souvenir. We will be in Egypt for another 1.5 weeks and we will definitely go on other excursions from this company! Thank you for a great vacation!

We learned about this service from our neighbors on the beach on our first trip to Egypt. This is not the first time we use it and we always tell everyone around about it, because it is impossible to pass by! The prices are much lower than at the hotel or at the people on the shore, who offer different service options.
It's very cool that each tour has a detailed description, a bunch of reminders - what to take with you, how to pay more conveniently. And the most important thing is to save time! Literally 15-20 minutes to explore the site and two or three messages in the messenger and that's it, you are already guaranteed to go on an excursion. You don't need to bargain, talk long and hard in broken Arabic-English, and in the end you don't get what you want.
Comfortable transport is provided here both for individual excursions and for large group ones - all buses are clean, comfortable, equipped with air conditioning. Two drivers are always sent on long trips, as all safety requirements are met. You can always buy chilled drinks from the driver, if you suddenly did not take them with you. It is clear that everything is organized with love and care for tourists. In general, we really liked it!
The last time we traveled as an individual group to Luxor. An amazing place, the only one from Hurghada is a rather tedious road about 4.5 hours long in one direction. But these antiquities need to be seen by everyone who visits Egypt, you will definitely not regret it.

We took an individual plane tour to Cairo for $470.
I'm going to the pyramids for the second time. I flew to Egypt ESPECIALLY for this purpose. With my daughter to show her. In 2022, we also took an individual car tour from Hurghada - $ 350 for three people. I didn't really like the guide then - she spoke Russian badly enough / after an hour we got tired of listening to her, there was tension. That's why, now, I've specifically marked this moment!!!! I asked for a guide with excellent Russian! But they didn't hear me! The guide turned out to be even worse than he was two years ago - just 0 of any knowledge - he just told the size of the structures and the dates of construction. THAT'S IT! We just followed him or he followed us, plus the disgusting Russian.
No one met us at the airport with a sign. We waited for half an hour. As a result, a driver (not a guide) came, who is generally 0 in Russian. "A comfortable car is a KIA with a dirty interior. The guide was picked up on the way, as soon as he opened his mouth, it became clear that I would be the guide for my daughter! The guide cheated on the cost - for example, the entrance to the pyramid of Mikerin costs $ 5 per person - we found out after we went there. Even in the car, he said that the entrance costs $ 10. A horse ride also cost $5, but he charged us $10 each, pretending that he had arranged a cheaper deal for us. In general, at the very beginning we went with a terrible mood.
Not a word about Cairo itself. 80% of the time, the guide communicated with the driver.
Besides, he seemed to be in a hurry - he needed to complete the program as soon as possible and send us to the airport. For a moment, we specially took an individual tour, for which we paid almost 50,000rubles, so that we could spend more time at the facilities. But no, after 2 hours we were already being taken to lunch. After that, there was a museum - we asked for a new large museum. What did the guide do? He walked with us and read the information labels on each exhibit .
Of course, we were also limited in time there. We took a little walk on our own- they gave us 50 minutes. Let's go to the old part of Cairo - last time, the guide told the story of these objects well, I understood this time))) When our guide was almost silent , as usual , he gave out the dimensions of the structure , and that was it! Whose relics are here, why... this is a very interesting story, actually, in the world of Christianity. But the guide doesn't give a shit! It was 3:40 p.m., and he said we had to leave, as everything would close now and we would be kicked out. And we wanted to walk around there - there are a lot of places to explore. On the way out, we came across groups that had just entered! It turned out that all this works until 18.00!!!! So, at 4 p.m. we were being taken to the airport. Of course we're hungry. But dinner is not included - it is unclear why this is not taken into account. I had to ask for food . They brought me to a shawarma stall . And thanks for that. The flight was at 23.20. We were asked to just sit and wait for the plane. It's a tin can!!! We took a plane on purpose to have more time to watch something . By the way, there's a light and music show at the pyramids in the evening, we'd have plenty of time. But no, we're already on our way to the airport. This program is Giza - Museum - Old Town : this is the standard program of all organizers! This is not the merit of the albatross)))
Customer orientation 0!!! Terrible serve! Not thoughtfully. I want to say that all tickets to the facilities are no more than $ 60 for two people. Charter flight tickets ~$150. Everything else is provided by a guide and organizational matters. It can be done with more dignity !!!! An individual program! Or do you just want to make money and you don't give a damn about people? You can generally drive on your own, with the same success.
Before that, we took a tour of Dendera Luxor from the hotel guide. It was so interesting- the guide is an Egyptologist, a historian with excellent Russian. He talked with an expression and was very interesting. It is clear that he loves his profession. It 's better to overpay , but to feel the interest of the organizer . Get the quality and know who to ask. Immediately, all my questions were answered: "you are with the guide right now, contact him and decide with him." I'm sorry, but I didn't realize that I would have to find out, prove, and ask for anything-it's not my thing at all.

We have already visited Cairo, went to the hammam. No matter what they say, they pick us up at the exit from the hotel, we were picked up right from the hotel, we drove up and a man came for us. In general, the organization is proven. The service is the same as everywhere else. Everything is the same as the guides, only cheaper.

We went on a Buggy Safari tour, we really liked everything! The managers were in touch all the time, the instructors were good, funny, and helped with everything. The prices are also great, considering that travel agencies offer 3 times more expensive for the same services! I was in Egypt for the first time and traveled through the desert for the first time! P.S. It was a pity that we did not know about the Bedouin children who run around with bracelets, they wanted gifts, but we had nothing at all. I almost cried myself from their sad faces🥺 Therefore, I advise you to take chocolates, sweets, a bottle of water or juice for the kids. They do not take money, but ask for sweets.
P. P. S. It is important to follow the instructions that managers write at the very beginning. We really had a case with another tour desk and if we hadn't followed the instructions, we would have left with others for unknown money.
