In the autumn of 2023, I came to Oksana for acne treatment. I've had acne since I was 11 years old. Oksana immediately assigned me the procedures and the house. care, including expensive retinol, which had to be bought from them. She prescribed me a dosage, I quote the "pea". I had a severe exacerbation. But I knew there had to be an aggravation. Once a month I did very painful procedures. A couple of months later, Oksana asked me how much retinol I apply and did they tell me, quote, "the girls at the reception, how much should I apply it?" to which I replied that "no, but you said yourself that you need to apply a pea." To which Oksana told me that there was some kind of misunderstanding and it was necessary to apply the entire pipette. At that moment, I thought that maybe I misunderstood and turned a blind eye to it. Then, according to Oksana's prescription, we switched to the Epiduo retinoid. Oksana told me that the Epiduo needs to be squeezed out, I quote "along the phalanx", and these are two clicks of the Epiduo. I've been applying it like this for 4 months. The skin was impossibly sensitive, red, and painful. But in general, there was a slight positive dynamics of treatment.
Once again, when Oksana wrote to me and asked about my skin condition, I sent her my photos, and she replied that I needed to start drinking systemic retinoids, because the dynamics of treatment is bad. At that time, I had already read a little on the Internet that this is one of the most serious drugs, from which there can be severe side effects + severe exacerbation. Even then, I was in a psychologically depressed state, because these long painful procedures, for which I paid GEL 300-500 each time, did not give a proper response. Oksana also said that I need to go to Alina Chenkova.
I went to Alina's consultation, where I was also told that I needed to start taking CP. I told her that I didn't want to take them because I was terribly afraid. No one told me about the side effects and how they can be neutralized and so on. Alina said okay, let's try without them, prescribed tests, drink vitamins, maintain water balance, eat more fiber and eat less sweets. I took the tests and sent them to Alina. Alina said that I have low ferritin and it needs to be raised. And she said that I need to come in 2 months for an examination. But I decided not to go back there, because at Alina's appointment I told her about the situation with the wrong dosage, which Oksana prescribed for me. And there were two of them. The first time with retinol, and the second time with retinoid. After all, then Oksana told me on the phalanx. And Alina said that it is necessary to apply only one press. And Alina also said that Oksana is a real professional and she can adjust dosages. That is, there was no admission of error. And that's what turned me away from this place, where I no longer wanted to go.
My appointment with Alina was in April. In October 2024, I decided to make an appointment with Alina again for a consultation on CP, because I was mature and wanted to start taking them. And there are few dermatologists in Batumi. I signed up in October for December 3rd. On December 3, I come to the clinic and find out that I was not enrolled. They apologized, tried to justify themselves, and offered to come on December 4. I came.
At the consultation, I said that I had come about CP, to which Alina began to explain to me that CP needed indications in the form of the 3rd and 4th stages of acne. And I have the second one. To which I said that six months ago, she and Oksana told me that I needed to start taking them because of the poor dynamics on external retinoids. At the same time, Alina began to convince me of the opposite and showed me photos in which this dynamic was visible, albeit small for six months of treatment. I was completely shocked, because they were the ones who told me to start taking CP then. Not me. Alina also told me that if she wanted to prescribe CP for me, she would have given me an appointment for Alt and AST (liver enzymes) tests, but she did not do this. To which I told her that you didn't do it, just because I refused to take the CP at that time. She replied to me that this was why she did not tell me about the side effects and how to stop them, because I refused to take CP. That's the contradiction. After all, at the beginning of the consultation, Alina said that she did not tell me that I needed to take CP, and in the end it turned out that she did, but she did not say about the side effects.
I was accused of coming in with claims for some reason, turning over everything I say. They constantly interrupted me, although I let Alina speak out. I don't. And also a very "pleasant" scan of the eyes of all of me during the consultation :) from the top of my head to my nails, clothes and shoes. + cold, arrogant and arrogant communication.
This is such a sad experience, for which I paid a lot of money. ($1000-1500) If you come here, then know that your rights as a consumer are not protected in any way. And if they make a mistake in the treatment, it will be your fault that you came with a claim.
