A beautiful hotel with a large territory for a quiet relaxing holiday, everything is clean. The breakfasts are delicious and varied. There are always fruits. The hotel has its own microcosm - herons, monitor lizards, birds. There is always a chaise longue and clean towels on the beach. The only thing missing is drinking water on the beach and some evening activities, such as music. As it is, everything is fine. There are many different cafes along the coastline , there are places to eat and have fun.

The ghost of a five-star hotel.
Positive: the first coastline (without crossing the road, which is rare for the west coast of Phuket). The sea has a pool + shower, which greatly facilitates a beach holiday.
Great pool, especially liked the children's sand pool.
A very beautiful green area.
There are free ferries on the lagoon.
There are free table football, table tennis, billiards.
Cons: the bathroom, which is terribly designed so that the water is always on the floor + there is no watering can in the shower, which makes it difficult to wash the child + the toilet, which hardly flushes something, the plumbing is already old (we have a leaky faucet).
The hotel is far from fresh, somewhere the paint is peeling, somewhere the cushions on the sofa are torn.
One day, they put blue beach towels in the room, as they had run out of white ones.
Food! It's expensive and tasteless. The child refused to even eat pizza.
In general, if you are only looking for a beach holiday, then you can consider this hotel. On Bang Tao, the hotels are located on the first line, but only apart from the hotels in the area there is no life unlike other beaches.

It's a three-star hotel for us. But we need to understand for whom what is important on vacation, we lived in the laguna primier room, the room is large and spacious, but everything is dirty and old, the cleaning is also so-so. There is no watering can in the bathtub, it is not convenient to wash the child, the plumbing is all old, the pressure of hot water is not very high. The Wi-Fi in the room is working very poorly.We weren't impressed with the food either, everything seems to be there for breakfast, but it's not very tasty. At lunch we ate at a restaurant. On the second day, the child was poisoned with pasta with meatballs. You have to take a taxi from the hotel to normal restaurants or to get fruit (it doesn 't take long, but you always get stuck in traffic )
One of the advantages is the large territory of the hotel, many pools near the sea and a beautiful view.

A huge territory with a wide coastline and a lot of sun beds. Very green and beautiful . But there are disadvantages! The room is large -45m, but at the same time the bathroom is 5m maximum - it is cramped, ugly, with fungus in the corners and a terrible design, the ceiling lies on your head! The room itself is large and spacious, there is a seating area with a non-folding corner and hard sofa. The furniture is scratched and chipped . The wardrobe is small and old-fashioned. The cloth slippers (they are probably washed and put back in the room) are terrible, they are clearly not for adults ... 38 rubles maximum and on one foot . The third slippers (there were three of us) They didn 't bring it . We had a room with a view of the lagoon - beautiful! The balcony is large, but there is no dryer for a swimsuit. In the bathroom there is only 1 hook on the door for a towel, beach clothes were dried on the balcony chair, putting them on a towel . The chairs in the room have dirty light upholstery , the carpet on the floor has not been cleaned . There is no minibar, just plain water in the glass and a coffee machine. Breakfast for three : everything seems to be there, but it's not tasty. Cheese is one kind , juices are tasteless , scrambled eggs take a long time to wait , buns leave much to be desired . The room itself does not accommodate a huge number of residents. The interior is like in a Soviet canteen . In other restaurants, the food is also tasteless. For three days in a row, we tried to order a sandwich at the Club Pool restaurant~ at 1 p.m. Out of stock... out of stock! As it is , it 's lunch time , but it 's gone , the burger is terrible - don 't take it ! The food in all the restaurants leaves much to be desired.
The beach is gorgeous: large, smooth entrance to the sea, clear water. Bang Tao is the best beach in Phuket. There are a lot of sunbeds on the beach and they are freely available, even at 11 a.m. (we had it like that) , but the mattresses on the sunbeds themselves are not cleaned, they are stained and in bird poop. The buildings require repair and painting . There are a lot of chips, scratches, mold on the outside!
There are several marinas on the territory for a ferry that runs along the Lagoon to other hotels. You can use it to get there (for free... every 30 minutes ) and take a walk in other hotels : Saia, Dusit and Banyan Tree. There is nothing outside the hotel, only houses and apartments. You need to take a taxi , but there is a transfer from the hotel to the shopping center. In general , we will not go there a second time .
And yet, there is a good kids' club with a large covered area next to the reception. The guests are mostly Russians, Chinese and Indians.

On the beach, it is difficult to find free sun beds for a large family, occupied by towels of other guests. There are several restaurants on site, high prices, but there are promotions throughout for alcohol and drinks. We had a rest at this hotel ( a family of three . two adults and a 13-year-old child) January-February 2024. The location of the hotel is great!!! the very center of Bang Tao beach in the Laguna complex, it is almost a closed area with its own infrastructure (tuk tuks ply and transport residents on demand, ferries on lakes and canals according to the schedule you can get to the desired location of the Lagoon, there are shops, pharmacies, cafes...)

There are cafes on the beach, everything is standard in them, the prices are of course higher than on other beaches of Tai, but on Bang Tao so…

We stayed at the Angsana Laguna Phuket Hotel in February 2024 with a family of 2 adults and 2 children. I liked everything! We had a room with 2 double double beds and one extra. the bed. Everyone was comfortable. The room is large. The most beautiful huge territory. We only had breakfast. A large selection of dishes, a variety of ripe fruits. We had lunch at cafes located in Canal Village. The hotel's ferry takes you there for free along the lake. The prices in the cafe are inhumane. We regretted that we did not take half board. The hotel has its own gorgeous beach. Excursions to the islands are unforgettable. As well as the Avatar tour. The rooms are clean, the linen was changed every day. The children are delighted with the pools. We woke up to the sound of birds singing. Large parrots fly over the beach, fish are in the lake, a monitor lizard has been seen, it lives on the territory of the hotel. A very good massage at the spa center. It cannot be compared in quality with a massage on the beach. The children enjoyed doing crafts at kid's club. In general, a heavenly place!

Very nice hotel, delicious breakfasts, great pool, nice beach. It's a little expensive. There are only a couple of cafes nearby with inhumane prices. Children's leisure is poorly organized. Free catamarans are terrible rusty, it is impossible to turn the pedals. But these are all small things, in general the hotel is very decent, the staff is friendly. We were allowed to stay in the room for free until 18-00, although check-out was at 12-00.

Everything is fine except the prices in the on-site restaurants and for services in the spa center. In Moscow, having lunch with four people with a bottle of chorus wine in the city center is cheaper than having a snack at lunch here.
Meals from 300 baht. On July 13, multiply by 3 and get the price in rubles.
Massage in the spa center on site from 10 thousand rubles per session (3500 baht). In the Oasis Spa next to the hotel (where we were taken for a massage), prices are also high. But a massage on the beach for 400 baht is just right. There, plump-armed Thai aunts will mash everything you want well. The restaurants on the territory are not fresh. The real FRESH is only watermelon. The rest will be diluted with juice from the bag and served. The manager admitted this when he asked our opinion on the service. As a result, he recalculated the bill for us as for the juice from the package. It deserves respect. Coconut in coconut as you're lucky. Maybe 100g (what is there to drink?), or maybe 300 with the ability to pick the pulp with a spoon. But you can normally eat at the Laguna shopping center. It's on the lake and boats will take you there for FREE.(photo of the boats is attached) There's an Albatross rest to the right of the pier with a photo menu in Russian. We are also not in the mood to eat rice for 20 baht in the palm of our hand somewhere in crazy urban neighborhoods, so we have to put up with these prices.
On day 3, we learned how to figure out where the quality is and where the divorce is. There is also a pharmacy and a store in the shopping center.
Dinner for 950 baht per person is not worth the money!!! I agree with other tourists who wrote about it. The photos were taken on July 11-13, 2023. It was raining earlier. A sea with waves, but an empty beach.
There are no prices here, as they say in Russia. But the territory is very good. Several buildings are currently being repaired and part of the pool (which has sand) is closed. Very friendly Thais, with their sincere smiles, remove the negative from early disappointments. We did not drive from the airport for a long time, which also added advantages to this hotel. There are no cockroaches or other insects in the room. They're probably processing it. Golf mobiles drive around the territory and transport guests. Check-in from 15 o'clock.

A great hotel, we stayed for two weeks and never regretted it. The besein zone is very conveniently thought out, children can splash around and not be afraid. The beach area is also very large and comfortable, there have never been any problems with sun loungers. Excellent location, the entire Lagoon area is very European-style. The hotel was built in 1994, and it feels like it was last renovated 30 years ago. Now they are trying to patch something up without missing customers. One neighbor's door is being painted, the other's balcony is being repaired. But we need a major one! repair. My faucet was turned off and sometimes the water was running all night, sometimes it didn't flow, according to the mood of the faucet. If you pulled out the laundry drawer, it won't fit back in. The refrigerator makes the same noise as when I was a child, my grandmother used to hear "Saratov" at night, I even woke up at night. The air conditioner is not quieter.
I was accommodated with a view of the land, and the category "with a view of the beach" was changed to "ocean view" with an additional payment of 500 euros. Even an experienced agency couldn't distinguish the first category from the second, as this is one category on the website. Needless to say, it took a day to resettle? By 4 p.m., after numerous calls, they were able to send a guy to move the suitcase. The guy came with a key to another room. I go in, and there are other people's things lying there, I ran out screaming. What if an outsider enters my room like this because the service is stupid? It will be unpleasant for anyone!
The territory of the hotel is huge, you can't find a buggy, you can't sign up at the reception, they are very slow. When you call, they tell you they'll call you back in a couple of minutes. You call them back an hour later, but they've already forgotten and you need to tell them all over again.
Flowers were delivered to me, but the managers couldn't get to the room, so I had to go meet them myself. A vase? You haven't heard. They'll stand in the kettle.
From the good: I liked the manicure master. Well, I liked it, I didn't cut it off, and it's good. I cleaned my cuticles badly. The masseuse was doing a massage and fell asleep. A massage costs 15,000 rubles and 900 rubles on the beach. Such a hotel cannot cost 50,000 ₽ per day. Maaaaaximum 15,000 ₽. Yes, room service will also be more expensive than restaurants in Moscow, it's good that the portions are large.
It's worth mentioning about breakfast: it's a disaster. How is there no freshly squeezed juice in a 5-star hotel? Instead, they pour some kind of chymose from a canister, worse than jupi. The room is small, everyone is crowding with these plates, you won't have any salmon. Avocado? Forget. After 5 days, I lost the mood to go to breakfast, there is nothing to eat, there is no service. If you find a table, fine, be kind enough to look for forks.
Beach: the beach itself is nice, but there is a construction site nearby. There is no maintenance either. No one will escort you to the chaise longue. The first day I took the place of a nearby hotel, as soon as I found out, I was driven away, it was very unpleasant. No one will open or close the umbrella for you, they are always open, this is not discussed. They won't offer water, there is no waiter button, everything in the beach club is unreasonably expensive, the staff is not friendly and has not heard of subordination. "Is your name Margarita? How's the pizza straight? Ahaha!" I moved to another hotel and I'm happy.
And yes, this is not a dream at a temperature of 40 degrees! This is a review of the 5 star Angsan Hotel!

A 5-star hotel. It was Dec-Jan 24-25. Although it is the first line, the beach is almost 500 m away. And local electric cars are unhappy when they are asked to be taken there or back. The shops and markets are very far away. 300-400 baht by taxi. The night market is nearby only on Saturdays. So you won't get a lot of Thai exotics and food. In general, it's a boring village. It doesn't reach Karon and Patong. And the worst part is the mosquitoes. You can't sit on the balcony in the evening with a glass of cocktail, the bastards will devour you, like in Siberia. The water is stagnant and when the wind blows through the windows of the room, you will inhale the rotten amber.The main thing is that the hotel works for the flow of package tourists. Accordingly, the level of service is low. Room cleaning if you're lucky. They came to clean up once at 18 o'clock. Beach towels are provided from 9 a.m., and many people swim from 7:30 a.m. I have to carry a towel to the room. There's an outdated TV in the room, I've been catching five channels, the rest is rippling across the screen. It certainly resembles the bad five in Turkey. Most importantly, the hotel is firmly occupied by Russian and Chinese security guards. Accordingly, the whole day is surrounded by Russian speech, children's noise and no privacy. Constant audio garbage around. It's like being in Anapa. Of course, you will not feel any spirit of Melting here. In general, the once respectable Laguna district has turned into some kind of scam. Construction sites are all around, everything is blocked off, traffic jams, and a bunch of weird tourists. If you have finances, I advise you to avoid the Bang Tao area for the coming years. This hotel is suitable for unassuming families with children who have seen little of the world.

A wonderful hotel. We have a loft room with a view of the lagoon. A monitor lizard lives in the water under the room, you can feed fish from the balcony.
They are cleaned normally, breakfast, of course, is a little meager in terms of porridge, pancakes, fish. But fruits are plentiful for breakfast.
The beach is super, the best in Phuket.
The restaurants are normal, you don't have to go anywhere at all.
There are, of course, some shortcomings, but in general they do not affect the rest.
Everyone is very friendly, ready to provide any help.
We rested through Coral Travel. Everything is just super organized: meetings, trips, any help and support at any time of the day.

We stopped by on 30.12.23. A good impression of the infrastructure. There is everything for a good rest and relaxation. Responsive staff. But the problem of not turning on and off the lights in the 2nd floor bedroom just got me with its constancy. In the morning, the tour (it's still dark) does not turn on. If we want to go to bed, it won't turn off. An electrician comes, repairs, and later the joint again. We'll try to change the number tomorrow. The smell of mold in the shower. Otherwise, the hotel is decent.

The rooms are dirty, like for pigs, and there seems to be a person in the kitchen who understands very little about cooking, or maybe a monkey. Nice hotel. It is located on the shore of a freshwater pond, a former quarry in which tin was mined. Around is an atypical gentrified area for Thailand. Passage to the sea can be made through the Dusit Thani Hotel. Nearby is Boat Avenue with an excellent selection of restaurants. To summarize: with a small budget trip, the hotel is very even!

A huge hotel in a historically expensive area. There are a lot of vacationers.
The hotel stands on a lake that attracts various birds.
They suggest coming early for breakfast so that there are free places. You can sit inside or outside, overlooking the lake. If you choose a patio, consider the proximity of a toilet that smells.
The breakfast is not bad, egg and coffee stations, an automatic machine bakes pancakes, 5 types of fruits.
The dinners in the hotel's restaurants are of average quality and quite expensive.
The beach is huge, with creaking sand and free sunbeds. The water is dark, there are signs on the beach that there are dangerous jellyfish in the water and you swim at your own risk.
When we stayed at the hotel, the Jet ski Racing World Championship was taking place there.
The rooms are nice, although a little old.

This is the fourth hotel in Phuket on our trip. We always rent suites only, we rented a suite here (room 1405). Unfortunately, it is a disappointment, the hotel is very tired and well, it does not pull at 5 stars. But everything would be fine, except that the concept of service has not been heard from the word at all. This is not a 5-star service or even a 3-star one... they won't take care of you here, forget it! To begin with, you will not even be taken to the room upon arrival, but simply poked with your finger, saying: "You go there..." without telling anything about the room at all. In addition, the hotel has a "taxi" mafia ... That is, you will not be able to call a taxi from the reception desk ... The young ladies send you wandering down the street in search of a taxi, which is not near the hotel. When asked to call a taxi on the phone, they pretend that they do not understand you. 40 minutes after unsuccessfully searching for a taxi, a man appears offering a hotel transfer at 5!!! At 5!!!! It is several times more expensive than it costs by taxi and 3 times more expensive than it costs in other hotels. To the question: "why is it so expensive?" the man in a boorish manner sends you wandering again in search of a taxi to the street, the reception throws up his hands :))) in the rooms of komarye ... I had to ask for a fumigator 6 times!!! Twice by phone, 4 times at the reception… Moreover, after my husband's third trip to the reception at 11 a.m., they stupidly brought us pills for him instead of a fumigator :)) One lamp in the bedroom does not turn off in the room... i.e. the hotel offers us to sleep with the light on. It's really cool!!! It's 00:45 and the whole family, including our 8-year-old daughter, who should have gone to bed long ago, are looking forward to the engineers who will now "fix" it for us. The sockets are short... oak pillows, terrible quality cosmetics in the rooms, the toilet stinks of sewage, Wi-Fi is constantly falling off. The food in the restaurant that we managed to visit today is frankly not tasty. I understand everything, but not to make a normal pizza is to have a special talent. At a breakfast of egg varieties, either a raw omelet or eggs overcooked to a state of rubber. Juice containers are all empty... on ventilation grilles, fire safety, etc. AGE-OLD dust. But what about the basic rules of sanitation? Dear management of this wonderful hotel, I'm sorry, but are you completely stunned? And yes, in the sea, unlike the same Karon and Kamala - jellyfish ... That is, you can't swim in the sea here. But this, compared to running to the reception in the middle of the night, already seems like a mere trifle.

So - our check-in took place at night - and it seemed that we were not expected - seeing that we had a child with us, everything was so slow that they surpassed Thai - one moment 😂and settled in such a room 🥶 that I wanted to go home right away, but after a 7-hour flight, tired without straightening the beds fell asleep (((In the morning our life changed-Roman met us at the reception, from whom positive energy and calmness emanate from the very first communication!!!! Roman heard us right away - all our grievances were resolved 👏👏👏No matter how well you know English, for Russians, Russian employees at the reception are salvation. In Angsane, this is a Novel- kind! LIGHT! RESPONSIVE! Solves all issues without any fuss! Such as Roman should be put as an example 👍I will say the following about the hotel- the beach area and swimming pools are beyond praise⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ a sufficient number of comfortable areas where you can hide from the sun, deck chairs with good mattresses👍👍👍Cleaning is excellent, the weak point of the hotel is food!!! The hotel is excellent, we visit it for the 2nd time..the territory is beautiful, the breakfasts are good, if with children - there is where and what to do. The beach is just cool
We visited the spa and were satisfied..
There are not many shops and cafes around..This is a club hotel..come here for a high and relaxation!

A wonderful hotel. With a large park, tropical greenery. Emerald warm pools. Good restaurants with very tasty food and a wonderful selection of dishes. Access to the lagoon, to the lake with the purest water. Pink lotuses, white birds.
The ferry will take you to the beach and to the hotels in the lagoon. Is free.
