Bad experience. We arrived there, we are tourists so OBVIOUSLY we don't know how it works, we ask for tickets and the "smart guy" with few hair and glasses at the reception asked us if we have reservation, we say we don't have and we didn't know we needed it and he says "well no reservation no enter" and "now you know!" with a very aggressive and "smart" tone, as if we as tourists should know everything about your museum as if it's some holy place. It would have been fine if he said that with a normal tone and not trying to be the smart guy. Then the guy realised he wasn't being funny and he said something "I'm just joking, here is how you can book it" but at that point we didn't care anymore. Learn how to treat tourists otherwise your country will never attract more
I enjoyed the tour and, of course, the tasting :)
During which the guide told me quite a lot of interesting information about how cognac is created. During the tasting, she also talked in detail about how to taste cognac correctly, why the glasses are of this shape, which is better suited as an appetizer for a particular cognac, and much more.
Of course, we realized that we don't really like cognac, but despite this, we still really enjoyed the tour :)
We really enjoyed it! The tour is not super deep, but it gives an idea.
The guide speaks good Russian.
Pre-registration is required, payment is made on the spot at the museum's ticket office. Call in advance, they will tell you when the tour is and in what language.
The tour is 18+. They said on the phone that the children were not allowed in. At the same time, there were couples with children. The tour guide said it was their responsibility. The price of the tour includes a tasting, they immediately said that they would not give the child.
The museum itself is of good quality. But there are nuances in the photo. The background is a little dirty in some places. It's glowing somewhere. Well, you can refine it.
The tasting was the most inexpensive. The difference in cognacs is obvious. That's interesting. There will be two cognacs, water and sweets.
An interesting place! The tasting tour charmed me)) The guide is very pleasant, competent and cheerful). Everything is arranged stylishly, well done! I recommend it! The tasting is an educational event, thank you.
I recommend. Here you will understand the philosophy of Armenian cognac. And the local aroma, exposition and tasting will make you an expert among your friends and relatives. There is a store. If you want to make a lot of purchases for your loved ones, then make them at the airport before departure, then you will not have to buy luggage, because the ruble exchange rate is higher here and you can pay in bills.
A very interesting tour. I liked everything, especially the tasting. I recommend it, you won't regret it. I really liked the guide, he tells everything in an interesting and vivid way. Good prices in the store.
The impression is the most pleasant. From the very threshold, you can smell the noble drink and a good mood accompanies an interesting story about the history and development of production. And, of course, the tasting is a very informative and enjoyable part of the tour.)) I really liked it!👍
A great, modern museum, with a special flavor)
We took a tasting tour, but it was strong 🍷
We learned the history of Armenian cognac, got acquainted with the manufacturing process, looked into the storerooms, and saw the personalized cognac barrels of the top officials of various countries who visited the factory.
Everything was fine, the Russian-speaking guide Kristina is an incredibly charming girl. But right at the moment when I went downstairs after the tasting, the fairy tale collapsed. The Cerberus guard called another one to point me in the direction of the exit while I was waiting for my family. Just in the best traditions, to bring out one woman of average build, you just need two adult men.
It's a great location and a must-see if you're walking around Yerevan!!
You can learn a lot of interesting facts by trying and seeing the cooking and storage processes with your own eyes. There is a shop where you can buy drinks to your taste!!
An excellent museum, I recommend it for visiting, both adults and teenagers. A very interesting history of cognac. The tour is conducted in different languages. It's an amazing place. After the tour, you can visit the drinks store and buy as a gift and a memory of this wonderful place. 👍👍
I really liked it! An interesting tour with a pleasant guide, followed by a tasting with an interesting story.
I recommend booking the tour in advance through the official website, where you can choose the type of tasting and the time of the tour, and pay at the museum itself.
The tour is not very big.
The guide is pleasant, sociable, devoted to many subtleties of cognac production and drinking. The exposition is decent. The staff is polite.
The prices of cognacs in the factory store are lower than in other places in Yerevan.
The exposure is very mediocre. It's just a "museum" with a multimedia exhibition and a couple of exhibits of no value. For a mass tourist. You won't see any production lines or storage basements. Tasting... it is easier to buy the cognac you are interested in in the store.
In addition, there are great difficulties with registration for excursions. And the staff at the information desk and the tour registration desk are absolutely rude and not polite.
A tour of the NOAH factory is much more interesting. There is a historical building (a former fortress), and amazing storage cellars, and an unrealistically atmospheric tunnel, goosebumps))) And a tasting of delicious vintage port wine on the minus 3rd floor of the vault. It doesn't compare!!!
The plant has been known since Soviet times. Many celebrities came here. Churchill himself ordered Armenian cognac and bourbon to England for 400 bottles per year. The product is of high quality. A great museum!
A landmark, legendary enterprise. Amazing guides who talk inspiringly about cognac and everything related to it. An interesting tasting of three types of cognac. It's definitely worth a visit.
I really enjoyed the tour of the factory. Fascinating, sweet and informative. The tasting was great, they told me how to drink cognac properly. Smiled)
You can't miss the Ararat Factory tour if you are in Yerevan. I liked that there are different tasting options: more budget-friendly and more expensive, when you can try aged 20-year-old cognac. The guide was Leah, who was very sweet and pleasant to talk to. Thanks!
Good afternoon! A must-visit. I am not a fan of cognac and spirits, but it is necessary to get acquainted with the process of making cognac, its history and awards. At the end, a tasting of three-year-old and seven-year-old cognac with proper presentation and stories.
I attended an excursion to the EKZ with a tasting, signed up through the official website of the EKZ. I really liked the tour, the girl guide is a big smart girl, she told me, showed me, answered all the questions and taught me how to drink and love cognac. If you are in Yerevan, be sure to visit the ECZ.
Those who will be in Yerevan should definitely take a tour of the Ararat factory. You will be satisfied with the story that began with this Armenian drink and will end with a tasting of the products and perhaps buy something as a gift. The guides are competent and pleasant, ready to answer any question and in different languages. I definitely recommend you to like it!
A must have luxury tour in Yerevan. It's beautiful, informative, delicious, and the guides are a real balm to the ears. We didn't want to leave after the tasting.
One of the most interesting experiences of visiting this place. The tour was excellent. The girl guide spoke excitingly about the history of cognac, and then tasted 3 types of cognac. I liked everything.
I recommend visiting the Ararat Brandy Factory Museum. The tour is very interesting, our guide conducted it in one breath, it is immediately clear that she is in love with her business. The price is 4500 AMD, which is about 1200 rubles. At the end of the tour, there is a tasting of three and seven-year-old cognac.
Apart from the museum, nothing else is shown, I would like to visit at least the bottling and packaging line.
A very interesting tour! I advise everyone. The most modern and interesting museum. I was delighted with the visit. Well, the tasting at 10 a.m. is generally a separate story)
I really enjoyed the tour, especially the guide is a girl, I don't know what her name is - a curly-haired blonde girl. With such a great positive attitude, she told us in one breath. Without her, there would be no such impression. 5 stars for the guide!
The tour is interesting, I did not regret that I visited. At the end of the tour there is a tasting of different types of Ararat, there is a shop inside, the prices are reasonable. I advise you to visit!
We were on an excursion, tasted cognac for 10,15,20 years. I really liked it, Anya's guide told me everything interestingly and joked. I recommend you to visit.
Super!
The interiors are beautiful!
The tasting was carried out very warmly, we felt the charm of local hospitality.
Thanks to the guide, everything is clear and professional, with a soul! Just well done!
Cool! The impressions are great. What spoils the overall picture a little is the conveyor belt, very large groups, and the atmosphere suffers because of this. The factory's products are excellent and different from what is sold in stores under the Ararat brand.
We went on excursions and tastings, we liked everything, I did not even imagine that the Ararat plant stands on a hill and looks beautiful from all sides, it is so well maintained and landscaped. I recommend to all lovers and connoisseurs of Armenian cognac to visit this factory and try real cognac!
If you have been on an excursion to any other alcoholic beverage factory, then you will find it boring and small here. The tour takes place on the 1st floor of 100m2, they just tell you how and what they make of what it consists of...20 minutes, then the tasting and that's it!
But for the "checkmark" that you had, you can go to the cheapest one. They'll just give you cheaper cognac.
I liked the tour. Kristina, a very charming guide, told the story of the production, as well as some rules for using this wonderful drink. You can also purchase some of the products as a keepsake or gift..
The tour must be booked in advance. Through the website, no more than 2 minutes. Don't come on an empty stomach - after all, the cognac tasting is on the program. The museum is part of the cognac aging workshop. As soon as you enter the room, you feel the aroma of cognac spirits. The tour is interesting and informative. Everyone enjoyed the tasting too. There is a store with all kinds of products and different gift sets. I definitely recommend you to visit

I attended a tasting tour for 10,000 drams (3 cognacs - 10, 15 and 20 years of aging). It was the best choice for me (I booked it on the website in advance). The guide's story is interesting, informative, with a love for winemaking and Armenia. The guests are not taken to the production, but the story is interesting, the tasting is unhurried and competent. There are many opportunities for beautiful photos. They allow you to take photos for free without a flash, and it is forbidden to shoot videos. It's worth buying cognac at the museum! It's really cheaper than in the store (I compared it with the prices of Parma and SASA that evening).
It was not possible to get on the tour here, as everyone books in advance!
And the atmosphere and the factory itself is impressive.
But there's a Noah factory across the river, and the tour is great!!!
A well-known factory of famous drinks. There are good tasting tours that you need to book online in advance (preferably a week or two in advance, if you want at a certain time)
A good, talented girl guide-speaks several languages, sings beautifully. But on the Crimean Masandra it was more sincere, more interesting and worth the money.
It is very pleasant and interesting for me to visit the museum and the store, where I admire the variety of cognacs, make purchases for both family and friends. Thank you for this opportunity and beauty.
