Bad experience. We arrived there, we are tourists so OBVIOUSLY we don't know how it works, we ask for tickets and the "smart guy" with few hair and glasses at the reception asked us if we have reservation, we say we don't have and we didn't know we needed it and he says "well no reservation no enter" and "now you know!" with a very aggressive and "smart" tone, as if we as tourists should know everything about your museum as if it's some holy place. It would have been fine if he said that with a normal tone and not trying to be the smart guy. Then the guy realised he wasn't being funny and he said something "I'm just joking, here is how you can book it" but at that point we didn't care anymore. Learn how to treat tourists otherwise your country will never attract more

I enjoyed the tour and, of course, the tasting :)
During which the guide told me quite a lot of interesting information about how cognac is created. During the tasting, she also talked in detail about how to taste cognac correctly, why the glasses are of this shape, which is better suited as an appetizer for a particular cognac, and much more.
Of course, we realized that we don't really like cognac, but despite this, we still really enjoyed the tour :)

The guide speaks good Russian.
Pre-registration is required, payment is made on the spot at the museum's ticket office. Call in advance, they will tell you when the tour is and in what language.
The tour is 18+. They said on the phone that the children were not allowed in. At the same time, there were couples with children. The tour guide said it was their responsibility. The price of the tour includes a tasting, they immediately said that they would not give the child.
The museum itself is of good quality. But there are nuances in the photo. The background is a little dirty in some places. It's glowing somewhere. Well, you can refine it.
The tasting was the most inexpensive. The difference in cognacs is obvious. That's interesting. There will be two cognacs, water and sweets.

Everything was fine, the Russian-speaking guide Kristina is an incredibly charming girl. But right at the moment when I went downstairs after the tasting, the fairy tale collapsed. The Cerberus guard called another one to point me in the direction of the exit while I was waiting for my family. The prices of cognacs in the factory store are lower than in other places in Yerevan.

The exposure is very mediocre. It's just a "museum" with a multimedia exhibition and a couple of exhibits of no value. For a mass tourist. You won't see any production lines or storage basements. Tasting... it is easier to buy the cognac you are interested in in the store.
In addition, there are great difficulties with registration for excursions. And the staff at the information desk and the tour registration desk are absolutely rude and not polite.
A tour of the NOAH factory is much more interesting. There is a historical building (a former fortress), and amazing storage cellars, and an unrealistically atmospheric tunnel, goosebumps))) And a tasting of delicious vintage port wine on the minus 3rd floor of the vault. It doesn't compare!!!

I recommend visiting the Ararat Brandy Factory Museum. The tour is very interesting, our guide conducted it in one breath, it is immediately clear that she is in love with her business. The price is 4500 AMD, which is about 1200 rubles. At the end of the tour, there is a tasting of three and seven-year-old cognac.
Apart from the museum, nothing else is shown, I would like to visit at least the bottling and packaging line.

If you have been on an excursion to any other alcoholic beverage factory, then you will find it boring and small here. The tour takes place on the 1st floor of 100m2, they just tell you how and what they make of what it consists of...20 minutes, then the tasting and that's it!
But for the "checkmark" that you had, you can go to the cheapest one. They'll just give you cheaper cognac.

I attended a tasting tour for 10,000 drams (3 cognacs - 10, 15 and 20 years of aging). It was the best choice for me (I booked it on the website in advance). The guide's story is interesting, informative, with a love for winemaking and Armenia. The guests are not taken to the production, but the story is interesting, the tasting is unhurried and competent. There are many opportunities for beautiful photos. They allow you to take photos for free without a flash, and it is forbidden to shoot videos. It's worth buying cognac at the museum! It's really cheaper than in the store (I compared it with the prices of Parma and SASA that evening).
