Nice cozy modern hotel, with decent food. Breakfast was included in the price, lunch, dinner - you can pay extra if you want and eat, everything is delicious. Polite staff, girls at the reception solve any questions. The sea is 5 minutes away. walking in the shade. On the way there is a wonderful grocery store of the village type, everything you need is available, starting from the laundry. powder, ending with vegetables. We had a vacation with my husband from May 16 to May 27, 2022. The room was offered with a wonderful view of the sea, HOORAY! . The hotel room is very clean, the girls clean it every day. the staff is very friendly. You can make any request, they will always help. I would also like to mention the delicious breakfasts. In short, the hotel accommodation is comfortable and pleasant. You forget about some everyday issues, but just enjoy your vacation. We will definitely come back. I recommend the hotel.

Meals 400 rubles per person buffet (2022) is cheaper than in any cafe or dining room if you like to eat a lot. The food is primitive, but you definitely won't go!
The sea is close, the sights of the city of Gagra are far away.

Great hotel! Always clean, cleaning every day, attentive staff. The breakfasts are simple, but tasty and hearty. A quiet area. The view from the balcony to the mountains is amazing! It is a 5-minute walk to the sea. I definitely recommend it!

We have been to this hotel 3 times, lived on the 5th and 4th floor.

I'm not so lucky with maids. For the first and second time, the maids were very good, cleaned cleanly and always replenished the stocks of toilet paper, shampoos, and fresh towels were given. For the third time, we were on New Year's Eve from 30.12 to 07.01
The maids were torn off and thrown away. 01.01 we came to clean up at 10 a.m.. January 1st 🙈
The bed linen has not been changed in 8 days of stay.
We still love this hotel very much. We have been to many middle-class hotels in Gagra. Arda is the most beloved.

I don't know who likes it here very much, but the breakfasts are just terrible, cold porridges, tasteless tea, paper sausages did not impress me at all, I came to the reception and said that I wanted to give up breakfast, they pretended that everything was fine and did not understand why I was outraged. As a result, we ate in a cafe. We are a family with three children. Money is wasted . They could come to live in a rented apartment with all amenities 3 times cheaper. In general, I do not recommend friends.
P.S. sewage from septic tanks is constantly pouring into the sea! The whole family was sick with rotovirus!

Unfortunately for the whole family, there are only disadvantages. Meals for 3 points. Service 3 points (I had to beg to clean the room). The staff is 3-4 (someone helps, someone is up to your worries). The location is 3 points (there are no normal tracks, it is not possible to walk to the sea with a stroller, and again, from the sea to Arda, go uphill up the stairs with a stroller in your arms every day. In general, it is very inconvenient). The rooms are 3-4 points, but when the sunny side and the air conditioner does not work at all, it's terrible. It is not possible to be in the room during the day, and when you have a small child who sleeps during the day. In general, this is a torture room. They asked to relocate, the same thing in another room. With cleanliness, there is a separate issue with sewerage in the city. No one has been involved in it since the Soviet era.
But probably the most important thing is the Rotovirus, which is everywhere and always there. Everyone is sick, and so are the locals, all at different times, but that's it. (((
Guys, I advise everyone - do not waste money and health in these places.
The only positive plus from climbing in the mountains by car 40 km to Lake Ritsa. The mountains, the forest, the lake are beautiful. Everything by the sea is ruined, more than half of the buildings are abandoned. Nothing has changed since the Soviet era.

We stayed at the hotel from 30.04 to 09.05. Upon arrival, we offered two rooms to choose from, we chose the 4th floor with a view of the sea and the mountain. Everything is OK in the room, just like in a European three-piece, for sure. Breakfasts- we read in advance that there is not enough food. They were worried. Don't believe it. Before the end of breakfast, everything is in sufficient quantity: pasta with meat, sausages, omelette, eggs, two types of cereals, cheese, cottage cheese, sausage, salads with fresh vegetables. It's a pity there were no tomatoes. All the staff are very helpful. On the day of departure, we were extended the room from 12.00 to 17.00 at no additional charge. The feeling of a family hotel. Thanks to all the girls and, of course, to the owner of the hotel. It is close to the sea, shops and cafes are nearby. Nature is awesome. I advise everyone, definitely.

We were in Abkhazia from 28.05 to 07.06.2022, we chose the hotel based on reviews and did not regret it. Convenient location. We had a 4th floor with sea and mountain views. The photo from the website is true, the room has everything you need: a refrigerator, a TV, a hairdryer, etc. Convenient location, 5 minutes to the beach at a leisurely pace, cleaning at the hotel every day, there are also beach towels. The food was delicious, we had breakfast included (buffet), we had breakfast in the morning, we could have lunch in the evening, as we were well-fed). You can sign up for excursions, the administrators will prompt and tell you everything. If you want to have a snack or need to buy something, there are shops and cafes nearby. Thank you very much!!!

We rested at the hotel from 30.06 to 10.07, starting from 02.07 the whole family with rotovirus. The whole hotel is sick, the guests, the staff, the whole!!! Now about the hotel itself, the review is long))
The staff is good, hospitable. The food in the hotel is not ice, everything is not the first freshness, breakfasts are included, but even after them it is not good. I preferred to eat Ratatouille in the dining room. The girl who works in the dining room is well done, as soon as people left the table, she is already cleaning the table! Don't get dirty with such an employee)
The hotel is pretty clean, the linen and towel are clean and changed every three days. The room is cleaned every day. But trouble still happened, which left its mark on the overall cleanliness of the hotel. We rested with reyonk, the sleeping place for the child is a playpen bed, after another night my daughter lost a hair band in the crib and I lifted the mattress, what I saw there is attached in the photo!!! Dead bugs, dirt, used cotton pads...Booe...And it's in the crib, now it's not surprising that everyone in the hotel has rotovirus!
Our room was on the fifth floor with a view of the sea and mountains, it's hard to climb, but if the floor is lower, then a depressing view of the broken roofs.
The area of the Gagra side has a plus only with a deserted beach, that's all. There is no entertainment for children within walking distance, in general, you need to go somewhere. The sidewalks are all in holes. There is no promenade for walking, only a cafe.
It's 5 minutes to the sea from the hotel, through the railway, then through the highway, and you're at the sea, but it's better to go to the beach for a cafe Brioche (or even further), it doesn't stink like sewage. A medium-sized pebble.
My recommendation is this, if you want a more or less civilized vacation, then choose the area of novaya Gagra. And take a hotel without breakfast, you will be healthier))

The breakfasts were disappointing - "plastic" sausages. An omelet with more flour than eggs. They sell delicious cucumbers and tomatoes everywhere - there will never be vegetables for breakfast in 2 days :(

I rested at this hotel personally and send tourists every year.
The hotel is located in the Staraya Gagra district, about 25 km from the Russian border.
The beach is a 5-minute walk away, there are numerous cafes and shops nearby.
Very good location. You can negotiate with the staff and calmly wash your clothes, find an iron and everything you need.
I also asked my friends to arrange a surprise gift for our arrival on our birthday. They helped!

A comfortable bed with a good mattress, a wardrobe, a work area, a hairdryer, air conditioning, a refrigerator, a TV with a large number of channels. Excursions can be booked at the reception, prices are not higher than city ones. The taxi was also ordered through the administrator - 600 rubles. Cooler on the 1st floor with hot and cold water, cups are available. You can work on the shower in room 403 - the water drains onto the floor, not into the stall. Gel/shampoo and soap are available.
A nice bonus is the beach towels.
About the cons. We were surprised by the reviews about a delicious breakfast - the cheapest sausages, sausage and butter, overcooked dumplings. Why are you feeding this to children? It's not scary to eat only cucumbers and tomatoes, alas. The waitress works alone, of course she doesn't have time for anything, it happens that the dishes run out, it's good that there are plastic cups in the cooler)) It is much easier not to include breakfast in the room rate, but to make it tasty and healthy! After the first breakfast, we didn't go to lunch and dinner anymore, we can't evaluate it.
I recommend the hotel itself! Maybe we were just unlucky.

We rested from August 8 to August 15. Double room with sea view. I want to say that for this price, the room is simply gorgeous, everything is very clean and tidy. Towels were changed every day, everything was boiling white. Thanks to the maid Svetlana for her hard work. And I have something to compare it with, we rested in Abkhazia in many hotels of a higher class and cost, but the service was much worse. The only thing is, we didn't like the food, we didn't go to breakfast at all. And accordingly, we did not have lunch or dinner. And it's not very convenient that there is no elevator.
