We visited a cafe in Baku on October 22. We booked a table in the morning, because we were convinced that there would be live music in the evening and there would be no free tables. In the evening, 85% of the tables are empty, there is no music. The food is terrible: Baku salad with tomatoes from the "greenhouses of Moscow", one branch of parsley from greens; chicken 800 gr. in the finished form pulled 150 gr. (apparently it wasn't chicken..). The waiter's attention was drawn to such a treat, but he wasn't even surprised. Apparently we are not the only ones with similar comments. I do not recommend visiting such a "hospitable" place. In the old town there are excellent cafes, restaurants with excellent dishes, including Baku salad and grilled chicken for 800 gr.
