A good hotel for those who need to come to wash and sleep. The room had a comfortable bed, good plumbing and cleanliness.
The hotel staff is friendly and prompt.
As a recommendation, I would advise you to set up at least one halyk bank terminal so that it would be more convenient for Russian tourists to pay with a unionpay card and put draft beer in the bar.
I really liked the hotel, I stayed there for a week, everything is clean and cozy, the rooms are comfortable, polite staff, towels were changed every day and cleaning was done, breakfast is included, buffet, a huge assortment, everything is fresh and delicious, I recommend it to everyone!!
Clean, comfortable (near the train station), there are toothbrushes and toothpaste, slippers, towels. Everything is fine, the only negative is that it is very cold. Even the heater brought in the first night did not fix the situation. Then, apparently, they added heating and it became warm.
Great hotel. Not expensive, clean, cozy. A stone's throw from Almaty railway station 2. Just around the corner. There is a shopping center nearby. Excellent breakfast buffet. Delicious, a large selection. Friendly staff.
We stayed in a standard room.
The hotel is good, very conveniently located, there is Almaty 2 railway station nearby, you can get from the hotel to the necessary place by taxi, trolleybus, buses (10-15 minutes walk to the avenue), free wi-fi is available.
However, it is not very convenient to check in at 14:00. The staff was polite and responded to requests as quickly as possible.
The hotel room for two is too small, keep in mind if you plan to stay in it all the time, there is also no refrigerator, bathrobes, towel dryer, which is not very convenient especially in winter.
The room is warm. Wet cleaning was carried out, but unfortunately of poor quality.
The hotel restaurant has a New Year's atmosphere, they only had breakfast there, it would be good if milk was also given hot, at least in winter, special thanks to the chefs!!!
I wish you prosperity, success and improvement!
Thank you!!!
Sincerely, guests from Uzbekistan
We were accommodated in this hotel. There are no complaints about the staff. We had an early arrival and the receptionists tried to accommodate us in the room before check-in so that we could relax. Then he also reacted quickly to all our claims. But there are many comments about the hotel itself:
1. The air conditioner in the room was almost not working;
2. The water in the shower did not go away (even after calling the master),
3. The water was barely flowing in the sink from the tap and in any turn the crustacean is hot;
4. The lock in the door was malfunctioning all the time, the door could almost always be opened from the corridor, i.e. if I am in the room, then anyone could open it from the corridor (we can say that they slept open). When leaving the room, I had to cover it with a card.
5. Towels are tired, gray in color
6. The size of the blanket does not match the duvet cover (50 centimeters shorter in width);
7. There are no sides at the base of the bed and the mattress rolls on it like a pancake in a frying pan. You wake up in the morning, half of the mattress is hanging off the bed.
8. There is no kettle and refrigerator in the room (in this heat it was very lacking).
9. Well, the cherry on the cake are COCKROACHES.
In general, there are more complaints about the management
The rooms are simple, but functional and clean, I stayed the night with pleasure. The air conditioning is central, that is, it will not be possible to turn it on/ off at will, in some rooms it makes a lot of noise, but the temperature is really comfortable. There is a good choice of dishes for breakfast, except that there is not enough ground coffee (only instant). Located near the train station and not the farthest from the airport, it is a good option for this city in terms of cost / convenience.
Quick check-in. The administrator monitors the silence. There is enough silence and convenience.
There is everything you need in the room from accessories, shampoo, gel, toothbrushes, disposable slippers. The perfect white bed linen.
Polite staff. I recommend.
Those who put dislikes - KEEP an EYE on the QUALITY in their hotels))
Everything is clean, the water is hot and cold, there are no foreign smells!
After a long journey, I swam with pleasure. Breakfast is for every taste, the staff is friendly, well done girls and boys. You can return to them with pleasure ! Keep it up !
Excellent apartments belonging to the Astra hotel, high class service, delicious breakfasts, brand new furnishings and attentive staff💥👍I'm thrilled!!!
A good three-star hotel. Despite the proximity to the railway station, it is relatively quiet and safe at night. The interior of the room is simple, but sufficient to comfortably spend a few days in Almaty. The breakfast is not bad, monotonous, but again sufficient. Adequate cost
Comfortable and economical rooms.Frequent guests are foreigners who travel a lot. And c bigtrip.kz You can visit the following places:
Charyn Canyon
Kaindy Lake
Kolsai Lake
Rock petroglyphs
Lake Issyk
Black Canyon
Moon Canyon
Actually, the hotel is ✴️✴️✴️, so there were no special expectations. Among the advantages: near the place where I worked; clean, the room is cleaned every day while I am away; the breakfast buffet is normal; the laundry is reasonably priced and does the laundry quickly; there is a safe, so you can leave valuables in the room.
Among the disadvantages: there is no ventilation, and when you can't open the window, you will suffocate. After all, Nizhny Almaty. There are no drawers in the room with decorative linings instead, and there were only 3 hangers in the closet. Well, I brought a suit in a holdall with my hanger, and then they dragged hangers with shirts from the laundry. As a result, things are in the suitcase.
Not a bad hotel, convenient location. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable. WiFi is working. The staff is polite. A good breakfast, but every day is monotonous. Modern renovation. The price/quality is excellent.

I mostly liked this hotel. It is conveniently located next to the train station and the Rayymbek Batyr metro station. The room is standard, there is shampoo, towels, slippers, hair dryer, toothbrush and toothpaste. There is no kettle, but there is a cooler on the floor. The staff is polite and helpful. There was a slight inconvenience due to the lack of proper towel racks in the bathroom
We stayed at this hotel for a few days, we had good impressions. The rooms are clean and freshly renovated. The staff is friendly. The location is very convenient, close to the center. The price includes good breakfasts (Ala buffet). There is a cafe on the ground floor, which is also very convenient) There are coolers on the floors. There is also a conference room and a large shelf with books, you can borrow to read))
Among the disadvantages - check-in only after 14:00 and when checking in earlier, even for an hour, you need to pay 50% of the room rate per day. The water in the shower went off just as badly and there were sets of towels for one person instead of two, but I think it's all the little things. Overall, I liked everything ! We will stay in this place for more)
The hotel is quiet, clean, the standard room is small, the Windows were facing the courtyard. The shower cabin leaked heavily, soap, shampoo in dispensers on the wall, in general it is convenient.
The worst hotel I've been to in Almaty. There is no drinking water in the room, there is only one ironing board and iron for the entire hotel on the ground floor, breakfast is free, the sheets are dirty, there are no hygiene supplies, the Internet does not work, the lock on the door slows down and opens for a long time. There is nothing in the area. He checked out the next day. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
The worst hotel in my memory.
The rooms are tiny, the air conditioner does not work normally. The hotel staff is absolutely not responsive. Breakfast is just eggs and sausages. For $70 a day, it's just terrible. The towels in the rooms are already very old. I do not recommend this hotel.
The receptionists at the reception are courteous, polite and respond quickly to requests. I was surprised when, when trying to open the door to the room, the door handle fell out. The malfunction was quickly fixed. The rooms are clean. There was a lack of staff at breakfast - there were no clean spoons, then the dishes were all eaten, then there was no boiling water. I asked to make cappuccino, they say 1000 tenge - I was surprised. Overall a normal hotel, 3.5 stars.
Stayed at this hotel, the experience is not very, very mediocre place, corresponds to three stars, so you should not expect more. The room key worked poorly, one window did not close at all, so noise from the street is constantly heard in the room, the ceiling above the windows leaks during rain and all the water is on the windowsill, the cord from the hair dryer in the bathroom came off, although it was quickly repaired on request, the holder in the shower was removed along with the watering can. The staff is friendly, but they do not know the assortment of additional services, such as dry cleaning, ironing, etc. Breakfast is not poorly cooked, but the assortment is modest and does not change, but it is quite possible to have dinner, steak and salads are cooked perfectly, this is one of the advantages. Coffee is twice as expensive as in a normal restaurant. Towels are also changed in a timely manner, but that's all.
Guest rooms with 3 stars (however, as stated). The rooms are cramped, the rooms are cool, there is no refrigerator, the furniture is no longer the first freshness, many interior details ask for refreshment. As for me, the price is too high, 5 thousand less than the real cost.
Thank you for the helpful staff, delicious breakfasts and timely cleaning. A pleasant surprise was the free luggage storage for things. I liked the hotel, it was simple and tasteful. I wish there were still small refrigerators in the room. But perhaps they are in a room of a higher class, but still I would like them to be available in the simplest ones too.
A good hotel, convenient location, two minutes to the railway station and five minutes to the bus stop in any direction of Almaty. There are also delicious breakfasts, coolers with water on the floors in the corridors.
A cozy, clean hotel. Conveniently located in the heart of the city. There is a railway station nearby, and this is a good transport hub with buses and trolleybuses to different parts of the city,

The hotel is 3 stars. The convenient location is a 3-minute walk from Almaty-2 train station. Polite staff. Daily room cleaning. There was not enough refrigerator/minibar and kettle in the room. Buffet breakfast from 7:30 to 11:00 on weekends
The average hotel! Room cleaning leaves much to be desired. The rooms were booked at the same price, as a result, one of the 5 rooms was more expensive. Why is not clear...
We were with my son in 2022, the hotel is within walking distance from the Almaty-1 railway station. It is strange that the toilet door in the room is glass and not even tinted
A great clean hotel, with a nice cafe downstairs. In general, the staff is responsive. I liked that you can hold a direct event at the hotel , if you need a hall - it's quite decent
Why a three, because: there is no refrigerator in the room, there are no mosquito nets on the windows, there are constant loud neighbors, Indians and Chinese do not let them sleep in the morning, and they also cook something of their own garlic, the whole corridor smells of garlic, kapets, went out and all the time forced them to speak lower, it's just kapets. Well, now for the good: we changed the linen, hygiene products and cleaning every day, polite staff.
Bottom line - I wouldn't go there a second time.
It's a terrible hotel. It is dirty, the bed is dirty, there is no refrigerator, the keys are demagnetized, the breakfasts are monotonous and tasteless. Those who bet 4.5 COME to YOUR SENSES
We were looking for a hotel for a week with breakfast, close to the center and at an affordable price - we did not lose. The Arbat is a 10-minute walk away, the rooms are clean and bright, cleaning was done every day. The breakfasts are good, everyone will find something to eat. The brewed coffee is free. The girl at the reception is smiling and friendly. Nearby there is a bank branch, shops and many cafes and canteens. I liked everything. If I return to Almaty, I will definitely come to you. Thanks!
I didn't live in rooms. We were in the conference room, had lunch and drank tea and coffee during breaks. There is everything you need, order and cleanliness are observed. The reception staff responds quickly, polite.
Everything doesn't seem to be bad, but the rooms are cramped. For 2 people, the room is... cramped. Between the bed and the wall only sideways, not very comfortable.
The staff responded quickly to requests, the breakfast was good and clean.
I've been thinking for a long time about how many stars to put, 4 or 5. But I decided not to reduce it. There were some minor problems, but the staff solved them very quickly and calmly. Thank you. And when we left, they packed us breakfast for the road.
The hotel is 3 stars. There was no kettle in the room, they asked at the reception and promised to provide it, but it remained a promise. For those who use the train, the bonus is that there is a railway station nearby (there is no noise from trains in the rooms)
Never stop here if you have a choice!
Once upon a time it was clearly a good idea in terms of room design, the quality of the hotel as a whole and the range of services provided. The staff, for the most part, tried to help with the problems that arose, but the hotel management is clearly trying to squeeze out all the juices and not invest a penny.
The disadvantages turned out to be much more:
1. When I arrived, the room smelled like a city dumpster - the drains in the shower and toilet stank. This problem was not very quickly, but the staff tried to fix it. After 2-3 days, they either got used to the smell, or it went away.
2. When you see a large bed in the room description, expect that these are two old and folded mattresses, the bed linen on which has not been updated apparently since the opening of the hotel (I attach a photo to the review).
3. The hotel management considered it appropriate to arrange a corporate party on December 28th in the hotel restaurant, which lasted from 16-17 hours to 00:30 - 1:00 the next day. Taking into account the lack of sound insulation, it was possible to attend a corporate party without leaving the room. Not exactly what you would expect from a hotel.
4. From January 1 to January 4, there was no Wi-Fi in the hotel and every day the staff promised that they would fix it.
5. They bring torn towels and bed linen (I attach a photo to the review).
6. Cleaners consider it their duty to start cleaning at 6 a.m. using walkie-talkies and shouting at each other in the hallway (what can they even discuss there?!), and in the absence of sound insulation, this can wake you up.
In general, the hotel is good. I didn't go to breakfast, so I can't say what's what. The disadvantage is that there is a lot of hair on the floor in the toilet, apparently they don't clean it very much. I liked the room itself. And you can also hear very much in the rooms what they are doing in the corridor. For 3* the hotel is good, and the location near the Almaty -2 railway station. Three minutes on foot. The water is hot, and the room is hot, I opened the windows.
It's not three stars, I asked to change the rooms twice, everything is stripped, the shower smells like sewage, the taps are wobbly, the water is pouring not from a watering can, but from the connection of a watering can and a hose. The bed is just a double mattress that is constantly moving apart, the pastel is made so that it rolls down during sleep. Breakfast - you can eat it.
