1. The information on refunds is not at all obvious. Stores and services have refunded money to me several times, but it is displayed on my account every other time.
2. They do not accept an application for challenging transactions. That is, they say they have accepted it, but if you clarify the status after a while, they ask you to send a new one with a new date. After several such iterations, they simply sent a reply stating that, according to the agreement, "I did not provide a complete list of documents" (which was never announced to me) and therefore the solution to the situation was "to close the disputed situation without further investigation, and the Cardholder undertakes not to dispute it in the future."

I came from Russia to get a second Freedom card. The girls in the department are very responsive. I only had 2 days of business trip. But the manager of the Akerke branch did everything promptly and carefully! Thanks to her!
I closed the loan at Freedom and I want to point out that I talked to the manager a couple of years ago when I was applying for it. The bank is clearly moving forward: loan processing has become much faster, many processes have been transferred to an online format - this is great! Everything used to take much longer. I have issued myself a Freedom bank card for foreign payments. I have funds on my card for hotel reservations and payments abroad. All hotels charged money in advance according to the armor. One of the hotels stated that the write-off was a preliminary holding. The money will be refunded. And I have to pay the same amount by card on the spot. Which I did. In the process, he carefully and regularly monitored the state of the money in the account. For sure, the money was debited twice for 89 euros. I have noted this carefully. Further, the hotel informed that it had refunded the money on the first payment-holding, provided a certificate of refund. I forwarded this help to Freedom (if I hadn't forwarded it, the default wait would have been a month). And that's when the booing started.
Freedom bank simply marked the first payment crossed out with the signature "Rejected". BUT HE DIDN'T RETURN THE MONEY!!! Before that, I had already issued a refund for museum tickets and I know what a refund looks like. Exactly like a number written in green font with a plus sign. There's nothing like that here. No receipt to the account, or simply retroactively increasing funds by the required amount. Only 11 euros were returned in two payments, with a note that this is some kind of interest on the deposit. Although, I did not open any contribution. I was just depositing money into the card account.
Communicating with bank employees via whatsapp chat is terrible. No one is rude, everyone is polite. But every time you need to explain the situation anew, every time you need to provide your full name, IIN, code from the verification SMS. I also wrote a separate statement. And each time they answer that an inspection has been carried out, and everything is fine with the funds in the account - the amount is correct. It feels like I'm playing thimbles at the train station, and not talking to the bank. I have ordered an extract for the right dates many, many times - the extract always comes zero. Zero account balance, zero receipts, zero expenses. Although, the first, second, and third dates were full.
Bank employees, there is no point in answering here in the comments again that everything is fine and the amount is correct. Your statements are unfounded, you do not provide any evidence. You just canceled the payment, but you didn't give me my money back. Otherwise, I wouldn't be wasting my time and nerves on the long-awaited trip and after it now. It was your incompetence and shameless and brazen repeated lies that prompted me to do all this. Including writing this review.

Further, they reported that the documents had been accepted and sent to the parent bank for consideration. According to the money laundering protocol, they must carry out the entire check.
A couple of hours later, I received a reply that the head bank refused to transfer this amount to me. Apparently, they thought that I had laundered these gigantic money.
Just in case, I will write that we are talking about 74 euros. Not thousands, but just euros. That is, literally 7.5 thousand rubles.

The staff is polite, explains everything clearly. However, in the end, I did not open the card, since I already had a Kyrgyz bank card, and there was no need to pay extra for a similar card from a Kazakh bank (18,000 rubles for a nominal card is expensive, 5,000 for an unnamed one). I opened a registered Visa Gold in Kyrgyzstan per day for 2000 rubles. But if someone needs it, then why not.
The card is issued very quickly at the branch using a QR code from a smartphone, the TP works perfectly (the card was not linked to samsung pay, it was decided in 5 minutes). The card was delivered to the hotel where I ordered it while I was driving by taxi, I didn't even have time to go to the room, they handed it to me under a painting. I see a lot of negative reviews, but my impression is that the bank is super - very modern. Only the rating from S&P is confusing, but it seems that the bank has changed its outlook from negative, this is a plus. I issued the card on December 19, 22. Registration of a multi-currency card of 15 thousand tenge for non-residents. You can transfer funds to the card in rubles / tenge / dollars / euros, they will come to one of the 4 accounts that are opened with the card (this is a huge plus if your bank can send rubles to Kazakhstan without commission).
Terrible bank, service 0 in order to shorten the loan term in the 21st century, it is necessary to come to their branch to stand in line on the second floor, which does not move at all (2 times I came both times I did not get there, write a statement manually, queue at the cash desk to pay the fee for the bank's service in the amount of 10,000 tenge. It is not clear for what? no bank asks for a reward for these services!

If you are a citizen of the Russian Federation / non-resident, you are 98-99% likely not to open an account here and not make a card.
