The hotel "Belarus", dpuzya is 3*, and it is not necessary to count on 5*, I evaluate objectively. The location and views from the room are 5 out of 5, we had room 1806, 18th floor, stunning views of the Svisloch river. The room itself is standard, the bed linen and towels are crisp with cleanliness, the rooms are renovated, fresh furniture. They are small, but we did not arrive for 3 days to sit in the room. There are 5 elevators, going down and up is not a problem. Breakfast was paid on the spot at the entrance to the dining room, the range of dishes is excellent (cost about 800 rubles / person), there is everything: porridge, pancakes, omelets, scrambled eggs, sausages, cheeses, vegetables, hot dishes, coffee from a coffee machine. Recommend👍
Near the hotel there is a beautiful embankment, 10 minutes to the center slowly, shopping center, shops, restaurants. Tip, if you are going to Minsk on Friday / Saturday, book restaurants in advance, otherwise you will not get there

I liked the hotel as a whole, but there are nuances. I want to mention the maid's work - perfect cleanliness! Room 1125 is always perfectly cleaned. Everything in the room is not very new, but it is perfectly clean. There are not enough bathrobes, dental kits, a kettle and cups. The restaurant refused to give appliances and a plate to the room until they began to ask insistently. Downstairs in the bar, getting even a disposable cardboard glass is also a problem. There are coolers with hot and cold water on the floor, but the cups are thin, it is impossible to carry a glass of hot water to the room. It's good that there is a store and a pharmacy downstairs. Interesting souvenir shops. The girls at the reception are very customer-oriented. Accommodation is expensive in terms of cost. An expensive breakfast for the price. liked: location, in the city center, there is a beautiful park nearby, all the necessary shops, metro, attractions within walking distance; the view from the window is beautiful; there is an observation deck, one of the best in the city; the food is varied, but the breakfast menu has not changed in 4 days, milk porridge with salt and apparently with sugar, oatmeal, without dairy, there was just boiled rice or buckwheat; the rooms were warm, towels were changed every day.
I didn't like it: only 1 of the 4 light bulbs worked in the room (overhead light), the hair dryer sparkled in my hands (I was lucky, there were no injuries, the hair dryer was repaired during the day); plumbing was very rusty; the bedside tables inside were dirty; wool blankets were prickly, as in Soviet childhood; when booking a double room, we received a single with a second place on a folding sofa, the request to change was refused, while they offered to sleep on the same bed, because it is slightly larger than a single bed (dad and a child were registered in the room, a girl of 10 years old, it was at least strange to hear such an offer); registration takes place exactly at 14:00 not a minute earlier, the queue is going to be huge by 14, when registering, they take the documents and return them late in the evening (it was also strange to be in a foreign country without documents), one thing is difficult to answer all the questions without looking up, or even with your back.
We will return to Belarus again, but not to the Belarus hotel, which is a pity, the location is certainly the best.

The hotel made mixed impressions. No accessories in the room: no shampoo, no Gel. There was only a shower cap. I'm not even talking about a bathrobe and slippers. When checking in, there was a conflict with other visitors, I had to wait, 2 people did not have time during rush hour. There are no complaints about the girls at the reception. There are shops on the 1st floor.
2 nights were paid for, the third night was booked. I only found out at the reception that you need to pay on the day of check-in and only in local currency at the exchange rate on the day of payment. There was no warning about this earlier. The sound insulation is weak, the audibility is very high. I had no desire to stay on the third day, so I moved out.

We stayed for 4 nights in early July. The hotel is wonderful. Beautiful location, almost in the center. The rooms are nice, there are bathrobes, slippers, toiletries, air conditioning. Our room had a balcony. The room is on the 16th floor, the view is beautiful. The breakfasts are good, you definitely won't stay hungry. There is an ironing room on the floor. For the first time in this hotel, I am very glad that I settled here. For 3 days (from January 3 to January 5, 2024) I lived in room 802 - clean, comfortable, cozy, there is everything you need. Cleaning was carried out daily. The cafe and restaurant are simply gorgeous - and the variety of dishes and the serving and serving. And most importantly - VERY tasty!!! We stayed there from October 12 to 15, a wonderful place! Cleanliness, lovely rooms (we had a family two-room suite with two bathrooms), great breakfasts, very friendly staff. Convenient location near the Trinity Farmstead, near the pedestrian bridge over the Svisloch - excellent opportunities to walk and explore the old part of the city, visit temples and museums, shopping centers. The hotel's swimming pool-water park, the Panorama restaurant with a viewing platform - couldn't be better, we were lucky.

Belarus Hotel in Minsk is located in the very center of the city. Very beautiful Park, embankment. The hotel itself is quite cozy. Very tasty breakfasts for every taste. The only thing that surprised: it is stated that the hotel is a SPA. However, the time for guests included in the room rate is only one hour a day and only in the morning. At the same time, no bathrobe or towels are provided for visiting the pool.

Of the advantages:
1) Excellent location of the hotel, beautiful view from the windows, especially from high floors;
2) Very friendly and cultured staff;
3) Good breakfasts, no complaints. The only thing is that the room does not always cope with the flow of guests, you need to look for a table;
4) Availability of an ATM in the hotel lobby;
5) Large parking lot.
Of the cons:
1) The standard room does not match its price tag at all, it was a complete disappointment. The room is already quite "tired" and, in general, looks and is equipped like in an ultra-economy class hotel;
2) In the room, WiFi catches exclusively either at the front door or in the toilet. In today's world, this is very critical, especially for those who work remotely;
3) The restaurant at the hotel does not correspond at all to its price level and advertising.
Perhaps the pool would have improved our impression, but it was closed during our stay.

This time we were in a family room on the ninth floor. Good lighting in the room (new hotels usually do not have overhead lights and the rooms are dim.we are uncomfortable). Later, I checked on the website that the lift is carried out once every half hour, which also does not correspond to the 50 minutes of waiting offered to us. They left disappointed.
