An extremely unpleasant situation came out today. We came to the concert, and already in the hall it turned out that tickets for the same seats were sold twice. Therefore, those who came earlier found themselves with seats, and we had to huddle on side chairs at the end of the hall, since there were no empty seats in the hall.
The hall administrator did a great job, offered us invitations to another concert as compensation. Although there is no fault of hers in what happened.
But the administration of the institution should work out the issue with ticket operators in order to avoid this in the future. I understood that my case was not an isolated one.
The acoustics in the Philharmonic are excellent, the seats in the stalls are comfortable, which cannot be said about the seats in the dress circle, it is extremely inconvenient to sit there because of the small distance between the rows.
There is a modest selection of drinks in the buffet, several types of sandwiches and cakes, payment in cash only.
It's worth going to concerts. The repertoire varies (concert dates can be viewed on the website). The children's Christmas trees are just super. We go with the child every year and every year there is a new production. You can take children (schoolchildren) for subscriptions (I recommend) children will learn and listen to good and high-quality music
At one time, I always found a concert interesting for myself, but now it is more difficult to visit the Philharmonic with children ((I would like something for preschoolers or younger schoolchildren
I love the Philharmonic... We were with our daughter at a New Year's musical. I would like to strongly advise the organizers to put up ads or use a voice message in the hall: the audience should not enter the hall with food. It's hard to focus on music and singing when someone's child is crunching waffles and chips nearby, spreading the appropriate smell around. And it would also be good to ask the audience in full voice not to comment on what is happening on stage.
