We went in for lunch, the staff just went about their business, not paying much attention to the visitors, for understanding at some point the administrator and the bartender at the counter started playing volleyball.... To put it mildly, we were surprised.... The waitress tried several times to bring us not our dishes, but the food is quite mediocre with an inflated price tag! We didn't go there anymore!!!

On the first day of our stay in Pitsunda, we went to the Black Sea restaurant, which we read several reviews about. After a two-hour February walk in the rain and strong wind, we found this warm island of polite attitude and delicious cuisine on the coast.
There are not very many visitors, because it is not the season, however, the presence of local residents confirms the rule - their own where it is good.
Many thanks to Ivan, who served us very politely and quickly)), answering all questions about the menu, and giving his recommendations.
For those who will be after us, especially outside the season, when few things are open, we highly recommend this restaurant!

One of the best establishments in Pitsunda. The staff is polite and tidy. A fairly large assortment of dishes. You can have a full breakfast, lunch and dinner. My family and I visited this place quite often. By all accounts, I would recommend this place. The main criterion for me is sanitation. She is present there. The price tag is slightly higher than in other food and drink places. But it's justified.

Very long and terrible service, waiting for dishes is very long with a small number of visitors. The wait was 40 minutes. The waitress is rude. It tastes delicious, but in fact it is not. Khinkali is tasteless, the dough and meat are terrible. As if they were purchased. The mashed soup is too thin and frothy. The breast is rubber. Few devices are issued. We spent too much time on this place. We forgot about the dish. Cleanly clog your stomach and kill time. 10% for the service is too much for the establishment.

This is the best cafe in Abkhazia.
We've been to many places, plus I lived in Sukhum until 1992.
The menu is classic. The execution of dishes is on top. If I ordered satsivi, it's satsivi!!! The barbecue is on the level, the blue ones are generally a bomb!!!! I recommend definitely trying all the dishes.
Very clean. The waiters of the girls are very cute and responsive!!!!!!!.

There were two times on August 7 and 10, I really liked it, the service, the menu, the prices, the music is awesome (not youth), the violinist is playing and do not think that it can only be as part of a symphony orchestra.
But however many people there are so many preferences.

Ideal, from the point of view of a vacationer in a nearby sanatorium and eating in the dining room - restaurant! There are many delicious familiar and local dishes. Very tasty homemade lemonade (6 stars out of 5), yes expensive - but it's worth its 400 steering wheels per liter.
And what kind of hodgepodge is there....mmmmmm, my mouth was "burning" from the abundance of local spices – no heartburn, no belching!
My beloved liked the "Butcher's Dinner"
The children loved the "Pappardeli" - Italian cuisine and, of course, khachapura boats with cheese and egg.
And a glass of Escher wine, properly chilled, is just strawberry juice.
The staff is very friendly, and the place itself seems to be in the center, but a little away from the road – where it is very quiet and cozy.

Citizens, how can you serve a rack of mutton of such quality in Abkhazia?! Tougher soles! Only smoked beef is tougher, it's generally a horror: half fat, half meat that can't be bitten, while salty, the eyes are already slimy! At the same time, smoked pork is quite good... The service is not boorish, but clearly unobtrusive. Beef Stroganoff is delicious, but it was carried for half an evening - the longest.

Dear administration, I really enjoyed going to your institution in 2019 and 2020 and even in 2021. But alas, every year it gets worse and worse... And 2022 is a complete MESS! The Climber salad is potatoes, carrots, 2 pieces of fish, 3 pieces of caviar and the highlight is sour expired mayonnaise! The miracle salad! The waitress came over after 27 minutes of us sitting at the table and was very surprised that we were there at all... She took the menu (which I took from the bar myself, saying at the same time where did you get IT?) I brought the exact same menu in 15 minutes! minutes. Your prices are higher than anywhere in Pitsunda (excluding Amshin), but before for this not small money you could have a decent dinner, but now just excuse your BOTTOM! I will never advise any self-respecting person to go to the Black Sea city of Pitsunda. Alas... It's a pity, but everything started well ...
P.S. " salmon in a new way " - for those who do not know, this is a rotten fish filled with cream with melted cheap cheese.

We visited twice during the whole vacation .
Compared to other cafes, and in two weeks we went around them all, this is the best cafe in Pitsunda.
The food quality is excellent, the menu is varied. The service is excellent , it strongly strives for Russian ) Not even close .
Prices are the same as everywhere, +- 50 rubles.

We ordered string beans, mushrooms, beef stroganoff and khachapuri, two cocktails and a hookah.
The dishes are very hearty, everything was not mastered 😅

Perhaps it is one of the few places in Abkhazia where there is a really delicious barbecue, and not only. The local taxi driver advised. Despite the pretentiousness of the institution, the price tag there is quite adequate, even cheaper than the average in St. Petersburg. I tried lamb kebab, the meat melts right in my mouth. 4 large pieces of mutton cost about 500 rubles, which is more than enough to eat. I definitely recommend it!

We've been to this place, I don't know what kind of admiring reviews there are, but...we went in with a child , everyone is smoking cigarettes around, there is apparently no ventilation, the smell is terrible, 10 children were running, 0 parenting, mothers were drinking at the table, and children of 10-12 years old were playing hide-and-seek and they didn't care that we were sitting completely strangers to them, they were hiding under our table, the table was constantly twitching, finishing the establishments are so-so, like an ordinary cheap eatery in the Moscow region where the norm is to drink vodka and bring children with them who do what they want, as a result, they sat for 5 minutes looked at this nightmare and left... for anyone who wants to sit quietly with their family, this place is definitely not)

Cool location. Right on the beach. There are 6 domes. It is very beautiful, but it is very stuffy inside during the day, and they are small and the amenities on the street (4.5 per day + 500 for an additional place). And of course the rooms. But very expensive. They didn't stay there.

I went to look, fortunately not far away, where the alley to the sea is on the right side. Also, the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (I do not know what it is called in Abkhazia) recommended the Yummy canteen (it was closed). To the cafe. There is Internet, cash payment or transfer, calmly, not loudly (it was at lunchtime). I ordered a signature salad (seafood), chakhokhbili, tea, beer, tea with thyme (kettle). For a salad - 4, a harsh octopus, its serving is 5; beer / chacha, I do not rate it because it is propaganda :) tea - hot, strong, delicious, 5; chakhokhbili... Here I still reproach myself - I should have taken pita bread as a plus! Incredibly delicious nut sauce! Thick, fragrant, fatty, excellent in salt and sharpness! It can really be served as a separate dish - you sit, dip pita bread and enjoy. In it, the chicken is coarsely chopped - the meat comes off the bone - 5+++ . The staff is responsive and calm. Cooking time - when ready, do not expect 5 minutes, cook.
