I have been exploring restaurants with national theme and this one has been the worst so far. I don’t usually leave feedbacks but the service was so slow and didn’t know what to do while waiting for my food for an hour which was promised to be brought in 30 mins and here I am writing this feedback. I am guessing it was that (male) waiter’s fault who served us, and the other two dishes we ordered were dry. When I complained they brought us baklava on the house(Victoria was the one who did that) She was nice and took care of us well after that loooongest wait. Atmosphere was good with live music but hey I mean you go to a restaurant to EAT to begin with and if the food is not served well the rest is pointless for hungry stomach right?

Great stuff with ethnic atmosphere, live music every evening, generally food is ok, they serve national cuisine, taste is subjective measure, for me it was just regular, nothing special.

Nothing special. Dishes are a bit over salted and quite overpriced. One plate of the Soup price is around 80000 sum. Chicken kebab - 70000, which is too much for 1 dish from my perspective.

Great food.
It is expensive.
Perfect place for business lunch or dinner.
Interior is a mixture of local and soviet designs.
Service needs improvement, such an attitude of doing a huge favor, despite the fact of hefty service charge in the bill.

Just out of the Caravan.
It's a wonderful atmosphere.
On a spring day, it is very pleasant to bask in the sun and have lunch outside.
At the same time, you dine not next to the road, but in the courtyard.
Excellent cuisine. Yes, I couldn't taste all the dishes.
From what I tried, everything left a great impression. You can safely give the highest score.
Only cheesecake for dessert stands out from this. But I understand that this is an Uzbek cuisine restaurant, not a pastry shop. And the four for the cheesecake can be safely put out of the brackets.
Service. Yes, I'll write about it separately.
An attentive waiter is definitely half the pleasure of visiting.
A warning about a hot dish, a compliment from the cook so that you can safely wait for the mastava to cool down is very pleasant.
Thank you for choosing the difficult task of feeding the guests and doing a great job with it.

My wife and two children really wanted to find a cozy and quiet place in Tashkent where they could eat oriental cuisine.
We chose a Caravan, and we were very satisfied!) It is very cozy, beautifully decorated, there is a hall upstairs with music, and downstairs for quiet family gatherings. The food is delicious, and the service is very attentive and fast, special thanks to the waiter Oleg, who served our table.
The next day we also went here, and we'll probably go again when we get to Tashkent)

I really liked the interior. The cuisine is delicious, the kabob cauldron is delicious, the manti are tender, and the shish kebab is good! Our waiter was like one of the best restaurants in London))) I was so pleased with the interior, a very cool toilet).a balm for the artist's soul- a good painting decorated the walls, really pleased! Only one disadvantage is that the music is very loud , it 's impossible to communicate , the choice of music is also so - so , and yes , in such a place , I wouldn 't mind exposing my paintings )

A good authentic atmosphere, lovers of antique antiques and interiors will come in, and lovers of newer and more modern premises may not understand, in the style of old Georgian establishments. Pleasant staff, the dishes were also pleased, the facade is not inviting from the outside, it is not clear what awaits the visitor inside. It's very atmospheric in the evening)

I rate the place at a solid four. The place is very atmospheric, the staff is friendly, the waitress Nadira is just great. The kitchen is delicious. Among the disadvantages, it is an overpriced price, as it seems to me, and sour beer. In another institution, I tried the same beer (unfiltered sarbast) and it was really delicious, but we were offered some kind of sour. Overall, a solid four.

I recently visited the Karavan restaurant, and it was a real gastronomic journey! Every detail, from the exquisite interior to the impeccable service, spoke of the highest level of this institution.
But the most important thing is, of course, the food. I tried several dishes, and each of them was a masterpiece! From the juicy kebab that melted in your mouth to the most delicate pilaf cooked according to a traditional Uzbek recipe, everything was incredibly delicious! I am sure that this is the most delicious food that I have ever tasted in Tashkent!
I would like to say a special thank you to the chefs for their talent and skill. The atmosphere in the restaurant is conducive to pleasant communication and creates a feeling of a real holiday. 🎉
Karavan is not just a restaurant, it is a real gastronomic pearl of Tashkent. I recommend it to all lovers of delicious food and vivid impressions! ❤

On our first day in Tashkent, we came across this restaurant. Everything was incredibly delicious, the tomato salad with basil was just a taste delight, the manti in the thinnest dough, the Uzbek kebab just melts in your mouth. We met Vladimir, who knows everything about the restaurant and the menu. He recommended the dishes and met the expectations by 200%. I recommend it from the bottom of my heart.

It was varied, but not particularly tasty. The establishment is quite old and "tired". The service is good, the waiters are attentive and helpful. The bill turned out to be some kind of horse. An excellent restaurant, a very successful combination of modernity and national life. The menu is varied, for every taste and budget. The interior is pleasantly unobtrusive, there are many tables for different numbers of seats. Two floors, an open veranda. The dishes are prepared quickly and served by the waiters at lightning speed - hot dishes are served hot! cold - cold! Nice kitchen, nice interior. But I would draw the attention of the administration that the dishes on which the dishes are served do not really fit into the concept of the restaurant. I would like to see dishes on the table that match the flavor of the place. Waiters pour wine into glasses almost to the full)
In principle, this is in many places in Uzbekistan, I think with the flow of Russian, pampered tourists, the service will increase over time.

A very pleasant courtyard. Meat samsa is super, because it is big and with a good filling without excess fat. It's worth working on the taste of the tinctures. A little unstable service: sometimes you come and you melt away from the hospitality. And next time, the service may turn out to be spartan and disorganized. An insanely atmospheric place. Such a family restaurant. They didn't go inside, they were sitting in the courtyard. Very tasty, its own tinctures. A nice compliment of pickles. They were cooking some kind of dish with us - I didn't remember the name. Friendly and helpful staff. The portions are very large, please note when ordering. The price tag, if you navigate around Moscow, is average.
