The hotel is excellent, the staff is courteous.Very clean and tidy.The interior is great.The price includes breakfast and sauna.The sauna is spacious, and the pool is large.The cuisine is great, especially the manti))))I liked.The prices are reasonable.So if you choose from hotels in Karaganda, I would recommend Chaika.👍

Excellent breakfasts are served in the morning, the staff is polite, but if you come to the restaurant at lunchtime and with your food, the staff turns from helpful waiters to guards of tables on the terrace and you will be turned away like homeless people. And it doesn't matter that you are staying at this hotel and you need an inexpensive lunch or snack. Have lunch with your food in the room- that's what we were told!!!)))

I travel a lot in our beautiful country. As a person who is difficult to surprise, I can say with confidence that this is one of the best hotels in Kazakhstan. The rooms are large and cozy. Wonderful, helpful staff. I want to stay here again and again. Highly recommend it!

A great hotel. Clean, cozy, stylish, the girls at the reception are very courteous. The restaurant is super! The food is delicious and the portions are huge. If you are thinking about where to stay in Karaganda, then I recommend this particular hotel.

A historical place. There is still the charm of the Soviet era. By the way, the hotel was named in the 60s in honor of the first female cosmonaut, Valentina Tereshkova, her call sign was "Chaika".
Very polite staff, convenient location in the heart of the city, very affordable prices. I would be happy to recommend it.

The rooms are not bad, here due to a business trip, the prices are slightly above average, the advantages are daily room cleaning, the rooms are clean, well-groomed.
Breakfasts are included in the price, according to the buffet principle, the cuisine is excellent, all the dishes are delicious, but separately there are prices that are not very biting. Overall, I am satisfied with the choice. There is a swimming pool and sauna for a fee.

The room is clean but the carpet is burned with a cigarette (room 27), it is cool to sleep from the window, the staff is friendly and polite, beautiful halls on each floor where you can talk and hold meetings, buffet breakfast is included in a cozy restaurant, air conditioning in the room, refrigerator, TV, kettle, heater type breeze (but not in all rooms) and a huge minus - very weak water pressure on the second floor, on the third even less had to choose the time to take a shower.

The renovation spoiled the impression. The number is new. The towels are old. The location is high. There is not enough entrance and exit to the park. Cosmonauts Gagarin and Tereshkova could not stay there, because the hotel was built in 19981.

Once here, it was as if she had returned to the USSR. The room is small, the bed is more childish than single. It's cold in October, there is no heating, there is a heater, it saved. There is a steamer for clothes - it's just cool. The service is practically non-existent. I had a 2-day event, I almost turned gray while I prepared everything and redid their "preparation" for the meeting of almost 40 people. I don't think I'll stay there anymore. For the exotic, you can come and take pictures. And yes! Cosmonauts stayed at this hotel (this thought warmed me for 4 days): Gagarin, Tereshkova and others And so, try it, in case you like it 😁
