The ugly attitude of the staff is guaranteed to you. I was especially pleased with the rebuffing from one employee to another, the unwillingness to accept the appeal and approve the application according to the procedure. They had a paid ticket, the basis for a flight to the Russian Federation, a patent and registration, and a certificate of vaccination. The Russian embassy replied that they had to release, they say, demand a written answer why a foreign citizen was denied a flight. But they were even afraid to accept a statement asking them to explain the reasons in writing. Shame on such an organization.
Not even 1 star. The terrible attitude of the staff towards passengers, boorish behavior and a complete lack of competence of employees. The coronavirus has been in its second year, but they still cannot be adopted. If you do not want to waste your energy, time, money and nerves, build a route through other airports.
The airport is excellent, I observe antiviral measures, I was disappointed with the paid check-in service, when asked if we did not pay, they replied that we would not be able to fly, while the online service is already closed. Register in advance the amount per person is 25 euros, not much, but you can buy a more useful thing in a hardware store.
Everything is fine from the side of the renovated airport. It is clear that everything is new and of high quality. But the airport staff is not competent in all matters. I am a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The customs officers do not even greet in return. The only thing that interested them at the time of my visit. Despite the fact that I was one of the first to get off the plane and was also one of the first to enter the airport buildings, the augs made me wait until all the people came out and then they would deal with me. As a result, there was a 2- hour wait and incomprehensible words addressed to me by customs officers . Something is there in the pool.....

A very small airport. There are about 10 gates in total, and about the same number of check-in counters. There are 2 cafes where you can have a snack, drink coffee or beer. The prices are quite low. At the entrance / exit at the airport, a huge number of taxi drivers do not let you pass, offering their services. It is convenient to take a taxi from the airport if you need it urgently, but it will be 2 times cheaper to call through the Yandex application. There is a corner of the local moldcell communication provider at the airport itself, you can buy a one-time card (pre-pay) without a passport. It will be much cheaper to call from a local number locally (certainly cheaper than calling locally while roaming). There is a cash desk for currency exchange. They change rubles, Romanian lei, dollars and euros, and Ukrainian hryvnia. The rate is lower than in the city, but again it is convenient if you urgently need local cash (for example, if you need to pay for a taxi, cards are not accepted)
Over the past 3 years, the airport has changed a lot for the better. Almost everything has been rebuilt, especially the second floor. A good cafe, air conditioning, fast wi-fi, facilities for passengers with young children - in short, the EU has invested money for a reason!
Why not 5 stars? Because of the harmful and biased attitude of border guards towards arrivals from the Russian Federation. We lost a whole hour for some kind of additional survey after border control....:(
On October 22, 2018, I spent 5 hours at the airport due to a transfer. The conversion of the airport has been completed. There are excellent sofas with 220v sockets and USB connectors in a small but cozy room on the second floor. I used airport WiFi all the time. There is also a cafe and a bar and toilets, in which not only water, but also the supply of liquid soap is carried out by touch sensors. The best powerful hand dryers. Young people, security guards, supervisors, bartenders, in general, are friendly and polite. The flight from Bologna to Moscow cost me 2 times cheaper and, thanks to the convenient Chisinau airport, completely unencumbered.
The airport's cultivars are Russophobes. They misinform on purpose so that people don't get on the plane. The test in the airport costs 1000 lei per person. Who do you think you are??? There are no such prices in the world. A shame for the country.
