We have been vacationing in Kobuleti for 2 weeks, visited many different restaurants and discovered Chkimarte on the last day
This is a wonderful Georgian cuisine restaurant, an atmospheric place and delicious food!!!!
We were met and accepted the order by the owner of the restaurant himself, a very nice man! I met and saw you off as my dear ones, it's nice ❤
We ate for a family of 2 adults and 2 children:
- lamb shish kebab (the most tender meat, very tasty!)
- vegetable salad with nuts (an impressive portion, delicious vegetables, slightly spicy, liked it)
- potato (Idaho) slices 👍
- khachapuri in Adjarian 🤤
- the national dish Chkimarte (maybe I'm wrong with the name) is served in a frying pan in layers of meat, mushrooms, mayonnaise, tomatoes, cheese (maybe something else) very tasty, just incredible!
- homemade wine is easy to drink, the taste is delicate, not sweet, the aftertaste is soft and dry
while waiting for lunch, we easily drank almost the entire liter decanter
- I highly recommend compote!
The portions are large, as in many Georgian restaurants, they ate to the brim, even took them with them, because they simply could not eat all this yummy stuff.... (upon request, we were given containers)
I recommend you to visit this restaurant from the bottom of your heart, you will be satisfied 💯 %
We will definitely come back again!
Psps if this is important for someone, there is no menu in the restaurant, the owner will offer you everything himself and tell you about each dish!
They have their own products, everything is fresh and cooked right there in front of you on the campfire, which gives a special impression (the smell of the oven and the campfire mmm) next to a small pond with fish
Homely atmosphere, excellent quality food made from local products. Moderately colorful, but at the same time excellent service. Everything is clean, serviced and cooked by the owner and his family. Hot food is brought quickly, all the food is from under the knife, not freezing and not harvesting. I would especially like to mention khachapuri, perhaps the best of all that I have tried. If you are in this part of the coast and you want authentic Georgian cuisine and wine (similar to wine, not to table kampot), then I strongly advise you to visit this place.
If you want to try real Georgian cuisine, definitely here!!!❤ We rested for a month in Georgia in 2023, traveled to different cities, but did not see the best cuisine! Well, a very colorful place, the owner is very friendly, he will feed and drink the most selected wine from his own cellar, portions of food are large and very tasty at budget prices, trout were cooked from their own pond, it's just a Bomb!!! Thank you for your hospitality!!! We will definitely come again!!!🤗😘
If you want to taste real Georgian cuisine and feel the atmosphere of real Georgian hospitality, then be sure to visit Tengiz! Shish kebab bomb, eggplant, khachapuri, it's just a song! A separate dish is compote!!!! I never thought I'd be able to drink a liter of compote! The portions are huge, homemade wine, all products of our own production from meat to bread! We will definitely come back again, it's a pity we found out about such a place on the last day of our trip to Georgia!
We visited a wonderful restaurant today.A very soulful place with the flavor of Georgia. The food is wonderful.Fresh meat, delicious dishes.Homemade compote, wine.If you want to have a good time at home and in comfort, you are definitely here.We express our gratitude to all the employees and owners of this institution!Sincerely, Kamchatka and Moscow.❤️❤️
Very, very tasty authentic food! This is a family cafe, very atmospheric. Anyone who wants a native Georgian taste, Georgian flavor and Caucasian hospitality should come here. Friendly atmosphere! The owner is very sociable, boring
A wonderful host, which means a wonderful kitchen, because he manages his own kitchen and prepares all the dishes) The meat is great! Wine, this is a great homemade wine )
Treats with his own wine (tasting). We tried chacha, but it turned out to be too strong for us. They paid 180 GEL for the dinner. For the atmosphere, we recommend this place!
Home cooking and the real flavor of Georgia
An amazing place! Incredibly friendly and friendly host, who communicates with everyone personally, just wonderful staff!
The food is beyond praise, especially meat, khachapuri, wine and homemade tomatoes 😁
Definitely we will come here again and again!❤
We came from Shekveteli to eat.
Just based on the reviews on Yandex map.
👍 rating 5 out of 5 😊
A pleasant place, a real "Home kitchen"
I recommend a kebab Lula 👍
Suluguni fried in the oven is simple 🔥 👍
We didn't eat everything, the portions were large, we took khachapuri with us for the evening ...
My child never drank compote in a cafe / restaurant.... 🤣 and then they gave me a taste of homemade compote on apples and pears - he appreciated 🤔
The rating of 5 out of 5 for such delicious homemade food is clearly underestimated. Thank you very much to the
owner of Tengiz.
A very interesting place, unlike all the restaurants around. The owner of the establishment meets and tells about the cuisine, dishes and wine, gives you a taste of different varieties of homemade wines. They cook quickly, barbecue is fried in front of guests. Everything is fresh, natural and very tasty! We recommend that you definitely come in! A family cafe, all friendly and open people.
We will definitely come back! Lamb on coals and khachapuri in Adjarian were especially memorable - super!
I highly recommend this place❤️just a wonderful host who will tell you everything about the menu and advise you what you need for every taste)
If this is important to someone, then there is no usual menu list here, the owner will sit down to you and tell you everything)
What was ordered:
- kebab (the most delicious that was eaten anywhere (usually dry everywhere), very juicy, cooked with you
- Georgian vegetable salad (large portion)
- eggplant with nuts (this is the first time in Georgia that such big and delicious eggplants have been eaten many places, but such delicious and big ones are only here)
- homemade white wine (tried in many cafes, everywhere in the likeness of a Russian brew, it is very different here, very tasty) in addition, the owner will give you a taste and choose according to your taste
-Chacha (there's nothing to say -🔥)
This is something unreal. The host greeted me warmly, I liked the format. We cook what Mom cooked for us. We ordered dishes, full immersion in the Georgian family. Thank you very much! I invited him to the wine cellar, tasted wines from the horn, and chose what we would order. Guys, don't even think about visiting the restaurant. There is no sign, there is a passage between two jugs. I traveled a lot in Georgia, but it was here that I found what I wanted from Georgia. Food is just sex! thank you!
We were at Chkimarte at the end of September. Upon entering the territory, we saw a very atmospheric and warm picture: in the courtyard of the house, the owner of the establishment is sitting at one of the tables in the company of his friends and invites us to any available table. Then he joins us.
And here the Song of Georgian Cuisine begins.
No one has ever talked about their food so appetising! We were invited to an excursion to the pantry, where homemade chacha and wine are stored. They told and showed their varieties. After we accepted the order.
We wanted to start exploring homemade Georgian cuisine modestly, not knowing what we might like, but that was not the case! We were served an amazing fragrant boiling bowl of ketsi. Feijoa compote, which you want to enjoy as the most expensive and delicious whiskey, not drinking liters, but appreciating every sip. Vegetable salad with walnuts and eggplant rolls are also worthy of the highest praise!
I never thought that all this could be SO delicious! Despite the fact that the feeling of hunger had already passed, and we had eaten only one bowl – it was simply impossible to stop eating! The portions were, apparently, classic for Georgia - it seems that we took more than half with us, because it is difficult to master such volumes at a time.
Greetings to Tengiz and his wonderful family from the newlyweds from Voronezh!
A very unexpected format. There is no sign, there is an advertisement a little to the side. If you know, you'll find it. The entrance is through the store or from the alley. The host sits down at the table and tells you where you got to. This is a farm restaurant, family-run, prepared with its own products. That's why there is no menu. A sheep has been slaughtered - there is a ram on the menu. The owner tells you what he has to offer today, writes down and sets prices. The prices are not low. But a restaurant with such a Michelin-starred approach, tied to local products, cannot be cheap.
Khachapuri is so huge that they took it with them and ate for three days. Lamb kebab is too salty for our taste, but still very tasty. The wine is made by the owner and it is above all praise. It's better to go there in company. Some dishes one or two people are not able to eat.
Rather, I would call it not a dinner, but a gastronomic adventure.
I'll start with the most important thing.
IMPORTANT: specify the final cost of your order in advance, because there is no menu in the restaurant, the approach to prices is very individual. We were on rooms from Moscow, so our prices were, alas, Moscow. We paid 270 GEL for a standard lunch. For reference: in Batumi, in the most expensive restaurants, the price for the same lunch will be 2 times cheaper.
We were driving with our family from the arboretum park and decided to stop for lunch nearby. We have been vacationing in Georgia for several years, so we are familiar with the food and flavor.
The owner of the restaurant seems friendly, creates a welcoming atmosphere. The food is delicious, otherwise, as in many places in Georgia, the portions are large. The wine seemed quite intoxicating.
We chose the restaurant based on the first reviews, but we had to read the reviews below.
Do not go to this restaurant, THEY CHEAT and CHEAT! A family came in, 3 women and two small children (4 and 2 years old) for dinner, we were advised that they served tasty and inexpensive, but we were completely shortchanged there, despite the fact that the order was not large from the most expensive 2 fried trout and 2 kebabs, counted 365 lari, while initially even they didn't get acquainted with the prices, they just put it in front of the fact. There was no menu, no price list, so check the price, otherwise your check may grow into a cosmic price.
A very tasty restaurant, well, very tasty! The owner of Tengiz is incredibly friendly. A wonderful lamb kebab, eggplant with nuts melt in your mouth, lobio is unusual. The prices are slightly higher, but the portions are large and the food quality is excellent!
I highly recommend it!
If you don't bother with the entourage, then everything is fine! The orders are taken by the owner of Tengiz himself, he also cooks. The food is great! The portions are large. How many times in Georgia - it was not often possible to eat so tasty. Kharcho soup, chicken chkmeruli, cheese on ketsi- excellent! Excellent homemade wine of Rkatsiteli. Tengiz cooked everything quickly, I thought it would take longer. So, velkam, you won't regret it
Salad with some kind of liquid 20 lar, very salty, eggplant is not Georgian - ordinary grilled. Only meat is delicious: shish kebab and lula. It is impossible to eat the rest, even the compote, which, it would seem, is difficult to spoil, is too sweet. Everything is very expensive. On average, the bill is 2 times higher than in restaurants in Batumi. There is no menu. The owner of the restaurant walks around with a notebook and calls the prices as if out of his head. The service is 15 lars. Be fooled by the rave reviews. I don't understand who wrote them. Either people have not tasted delicious Georgian cuisine, or everything is really very sad in the area… Disappointed. It would be better to be patient and get to Batumi. I do not recommend it.
Great place!!!
Here you will be greeted by the owner of the establishment in a homely way, they will feed you richly and very tasty.
For the first time in these places, we were satisfied with a random find!
We read the reviews and decided to come.
The owner of the restaurant met us, maybe he wasn't in the mood, maybe he didn't like us, I don't know. But he immediately asked "where are you from?"
He does not have a menu, he himself spoke the dishes and prices out of his head
According to the recommendations from the reviews, we took a traditional dish of mushrooms, meat, tomatoes, cheese.
A big dish, you can't argue, but 70 GEL…
It was definitely delicious, but we gave 90 GEL for one main course, bread and 2 teas. Somehow it's not fun, it would be easier to navigate with the menu, what awaits us at the end
We didn't see any special atmosphere. It's cozy, background music is playing. But we didn't get the wow impressions they write about here
The first place we visited was in Kobuletti. Friendly hosts, a traditional place, real homemade Georgian cuisine. There is no menu, something is being prepared, and there will be, but there is a choice. Everything is fresh and homemade. Tomatoes are amazing. The wine is excellent, I have never tasted it anywhere else.
An atmospheric cafe, everything in the Georgian style, we stopped by with my husband to eat, the owner himself came out to us, a very good-natured man, offered soup kharcho and lula kebab. The kitchen is at the highest level, we ate like at home. Very friendly environment. We will definitely come back 😍
Delicious, but very expensive for a family cafe: the price tag is at or above the level of the most pretentious restaurants in Kobuleti - this is already too much. By the way, there is no menu with prices, the kind host, hugging the guest and assessing his need for payment, tells himself what to eat and how much it costs.
We ordered fish soup, salad, fish and lamb kebab. Very tasty! The sturgeon ear is delicious! Rich broth, lots of fish and potatoes. The salad is standard: tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, two types of basil. You can lick your fingers, what delicious vegetables! Kebabs are also on the level. The portions are large, you have to be careful! The fish for the barbecue was caught with us, so it was the softest! I recommend👍🏻 the host is wonderful:)
The food is ordinary, there is no menu, the host performs the role of host and waiter, you will find out the prices for the food either at the end or if you request. You can bargain. When you say that khachapuri is too expensive for 30 lari, the boss says that 1 kg of cheese is used there, maybe it is delicious. The food was brought quickly, the kebab is undercooked (fat, bones, little meat), they ask for 25 mutton, 20 pig, 15 kebab) eggplant rolls are really delicious, the salad is ordinary (only 20 lari), Georgian wine-there is no demand from it. They said there was no beer, but there was. In general, you can eat, but it's better at home. An ordinary tourist rest, similar in style to Istanbul
there is an attraction for "wine tasting"
Yesterday, on the recommendation of a passerby, we got into this wonderful restaurant. We didn't get to the restaurant, we got to visit a wonderful family! Everything is homey here. The friendly host , he is the cook, he is the interlocutor , he is the head of the family . A wonderful wife is a magician . Everything is in the best traditions of Georgian hospitality. Insanely delicious shish kebab , khachapuri , Georgian salad..... and of course wine from clay bowls! All this was accompanied by a sincere conversation with the hosts and Georgian toasts!
That's why we love Georgia for such meetings.
This is the real Georgia! Here we were fed and watered at home.
Very tasty. The owner of Tengo and his sweet wife cook their own food from their farm. If it would be possible to put 6 * - this is about this place. The most important thing here is not even the amazing food and wine, the most important thing is the people! Thank you for the warm welcome, the food and the real humanity.
Waaaaaay, what kind of place is this... here is the best food and the most cheerful and pleasant to talk to uncle that I have seen. Delicious and homemade, which is important, wine and chacha will only embellish your day, evening, and in general everything that you have seen and heard before. I recommend you to visit this place from the bottom of your heart, have a delicious meal, listen to Georgian jokes, learn a lot of new things for yourself, and just have a great time!
Great restaurant!
They offer only fresh products. There is nothing frozen, everything is just from under the knife!
The grill is with you, everything is delicious. The order is accepted by the owner himself, offering only the best, this is a feature!
The place is great! The hosts are very nice and good-natured! It's a very homely atmosphere, and the cradles are just awesome!!! We weren't very hungry, but we swallowed it without chewing! We recommend it!
We worked up an appetite while enjoying the atmosphere of the arboretum. We are very glad that it was by chance that we chose this wonderful place for our lunch meal. The hostess fed us delicious freshly prepared homemade food and gave us fragrant homemade wine. The owners of the establishment and their family are very open and pleasant people. We will definitely come back to you again)
A good place, very tasty, the cook himself greets, tells and offers everything, food is brought quickly, a pleasant atmosphere. Expensive)) but it's very tasty!
Real Georgian cuisine!
The portions are large, it is better not to rush with the order. Excellent own wine.
Kebabs and lula are some of the best that have been tried in Georgia.
It's the most soulful place I've ever met! Mom
and Dad were born and lived in Georgia during their youth. The last time I was in Georgia was in 91. I brought my parents after a break of more than 30 years. Mom said that Tengiz's restaurant is the best Georgia! Gaumardjos to all who come! You will not stay indifferent, hungry and sober!)
We come back again and again. Very tasty, pleasant atmosphere, sincere host. Fast serving, huge portions, divine taste.

A magnificent colorful place. The wonderful owner of the establishment greets everyone personally. The portions are large, everything is fresh and very tasty. Individual approach to each guest! Real Georgian cuisine. Supports traditions. Pleasant Georgian music is playing.
A specific institution. The prices are very high. Although there is no menu and they are invented on the go (written on a piece of paper), so maybe you will be more lucky. But with such a concept, it is not easy to choose a dish
They asked for 20 lari for the Georgian salad.
Homemade compote is delicious. (15lari)
Khachapuri in Adjarian was delicious, but 25 GEL is not worth it
Waiting for the dishes for about an hour and a half
The disappointment is complete (and hits the wallet
We came on a recommendation, met a friendly cafe owner, immediately asked where we were from. When asked to give a menu, the answer was that there was no menu! the whole kitchen is homemade, and I started offering it myself. Fish for 100 dollars. We said we wanted a light snack. As a result, he offered us:
Lobio is green
Chashoshuli
Khachapuri
Tomato salad, cucumber
100g. chacha
500g. Compote.
The total is 120 GEL for 4 dishes and 2 drinks. Prices are crazy, they are overstated 2-3 times, there are no checks or any kind of reporting. Everything is on the notebook without prices. And I wouldn't say that the dishes are just wow. Everything is normal. Khachapuri is not salty, the cheese is not tasty. The dough is unleavened. Lobio is over-stewed, like porridge, 3 dishes a lot of small bones, almost broke teeth. The result is this: maybe for locals or those who are not from Moscow, the prices are different. But in fact, ripping off regular food is no better than other cafes. But with an inflated price tag. If you go there, immediately specify the prices, and how much the box office fee is in % and say that you came from the outback with the last money to eat, and dress worse.

It's a very nice area. everything is very tasty, Georgian flavor :) feature: the host communicates personally with each guest, there is no menu, you do not know the prices in advance. you are offered dishes to suit your taste. if you are limited in your budget, then be warned:) the portions are large and hearty. 2 soups, a signature dish (sooo delicious! and huge), lavash, khachapari (huge, well-filled), lula, wine, homemade compote - 220 GEL. own farm, you can look there) we really liked it, thank you! This is the real Georgia :)
I went to relax in Kobuleti in the summer. This restaurant is the best in the city. Very tasty Georgian cuisine, the prices are normal. I advise everyone
I highly recommend it!!! Everything is delicious, fresh and homemade. You go to the owners' house, you will be greeted and fed in a friendly way, even photographed :)
A hospitable host, a warm atmosphere. The food is really homemade and delicious. But, there is no menu and prices .In fact, the prices are 2 times more expensive than everywhere else. But it's worth going here at least once
Everything is very tasty!!! The portions are very large. The owner cooks everything from his own products. The wine is very tasty!!! I recommend you to visit!
This is our first time in Kobuleti. And today we went to eat at a cafe. You can't imagine how delicious everything is there! Trout were caught right in their own pond. And how they cooked it.... The beef in ketso left my husband speechless... Be sure to visit these wonderful people! And don't believe that Russians are not loved here. We are ALL from the USSR!
We were looking for a place to eat khinkali, went in, talked to the owner, a good-natured man. Unfortunately, there is no menu and he did not have khinkali, they wanted to take a couple of tortillas for a snack, but refused when they found out the price.
It was probably the most delicious lunch during my vacation in Georgia. Divine salmon caught with us in a small pond, delicious homemade compote and lovingly cooked rustic potatoes.
The final cost may have turned out to be higher than in other visited establishments, but it was worth it :)
