The Museum of the History of Mogilev. Beautiful view from the observation deck, especially in clear weather. 3 small decorated halls. The staff is very helpful. You can also buy small souvenirs for guests of the city.
After the bridge was expanded, everything became much more beautiful
A very fascinating view of the Dnieper
My favorite place in the city, which gives off such a warm nostalgia from childhood.
I want to go back there again and again
A grandiose structure. After construction, the building was the tallest in the city. In 1780, Empress Catherine II and the Austrian Emperor Joseph II admired Mogilev from its observation deck.
Beautifully restored, impressive.
The impression definitely remains when going out on the square in front of the town hall. They let you into the observation deck at 50 minutes of every hour until 17, it costs a penny
It looks gorgeous both night and day. We were impressed by the expanses of the square. And I am fascinated by Mogilev! It was my first time and I want more! It is a very beautiful city!!!!!!!!
The last time I was on an excursion (June), something about the clock mechanism, we were also on the observation deck, they told us about Mogislov, the guide was very interesting, she told me in enough detail and she liked it very much, I plan to go again.
A small, at the same time quite interesting and fascinating museum, with the presence of some unique exhibits. As in any other museum, I recommend taking a guide with an excursion, it's not expensive at all.
It's a very beautiful place. There is a museum inside the town hall. But, unfortunately, we couldn't get in, it was a day off.Nearby there is a museum of local lore, interesting exhibits.
Guys, I love all kinds of historical places) this is their direct representative) unfortunately, we came a little late and did not get to the observation balcony... But inside it is also very cool) on the second floor there are two halls: one is just with an exhibition, the second is also historical but active (sometimes meetings are held), on the first floor - in several halls there is a fairly extensive, interesting and cool exposition.
A monumental building, the architecture (unexpectedly) reminiscent of Spanish motifs with notes of Russian architecture. There is a vast square and a park with a view of the river from the height. Number 2 to visit
In principle, a good Museum where you can walk and see the exhibits, for a full understanding of what the Museum is like, I wanted to go up to the observation deck, but it was closed until the warm spring!
A place of power. A viewing platform in the center of Mogilev at the end of a pedestrian street. Which offers a beautiful view of the Dnieper River. Not far across the river is the Smolensky Bridge, which is guarded by lions on both sides - the symbol of the city, because according to legend Mogilev is a Mighty lion.
We were not inside, there was a beautiful view from the outside, a spacious square, a view of the city. Mogilev is a fairly industrial city, there are many buildings of the Soviet period, therefore such locations as the town hall on the square are a pleasant exception
A very interesting historical place, a museum, a gallery of rare historical photographs, a rare, unique clock, some of which counts down a five-hundred-year period of time. The observation deck. An interesting tour, I recommend it.
If you want to know the history of Mogilev, I recommend taking a tour of the town hall (interesting, a lot of historical information and information), the price is affordable. You can climb to the observation deck, which offers a beautiful view of the city.
Although it is a complete remodel, but it is done very efficiently and you will not immediately understand that in front of you is a modern building, and not an architectural monument of the 18th century. A good museum, good guides, it is possible to climb the tower and go out to the observation deck for an additional fee. I recommend you to visit!
The excursion to the Museum of local lore turned out to be very interesting. For an additional fee, you can climb to the observation deck, watch the clockwork in action and get to know the trumpeter Mogislav better.
The landmark of the city. It's beautiful inside and out. You can take a guided tour and climb to the upper floors, where you can enjoy a stunning view of the panorama of the city.
A very steep view down, it looks nice in the photo, but very cool in person, in any case, the historical center of Mogilev looks no worse than a nice Austrian or Italian town, very cool, in a European way, even in the east of the Republic of Belarus. It's a cool place, I'm from Minsk myself and I can say that Mogilev is a beautiful city here, except that
I haven't been to Grodno from the big cities, maybe it's better there, but otherwise Mogilev is probably the best city in the Republic of Belarus to visit
A very beautiful square with an impressive panoramic view! I recommend visiting the Town Hall. At the end of the tour, you can go out onto the balcony, which offers a steep view of the city.
The main event is that the town hall was returned to its historical place. Although the town hall is a novelty, it is rightfully one of the most striking sights of the city.
In 1577, Mogilev received the Magdeburg Law and the City Hall was built in honor of this event. During the Second World War, it was damaged, and in the future the Soviets did not tarnish its restoration, but stupidly took it and demolished it.
There is a clock on the town hall and a trumpeter playing a melody at 12.00 and in my opinion at 15.00? In the town hall itself there is a beautiful museum of the city of Mogilev.
The museum itself is a bit weak, but I really liked the tour to the town hall. I forgot the name of the guide himself, but he was very pleasant and told a lot about the history and the creation of the watch itself. I recommend you to visit
The town hall itself looks beautiful. From the square of glory, near the town hall, there is a beautiful view of the city and the Dnieper River flowing nearby. But the fact that in order to climb the town hall you need to pay, and then also wait for a certain number of people to be recruited or for the end of someone's tour is, of course, a minus. Nevertheless, everyone who visits the city of Mogilev should visit it.
The City Hall has become truly the main architectural landmark of the city. However, this is not a real building, but built from scratch somewhere in the period 2006-2008. The building has a museum, a meeting room, an observation deck with a magnificent view of the city. I recommend
We went up to the observation deck - they told us very interestingly about the clock and the trumpeting boy Mogislav. I advise you to definitely visit, I think that the tour in the museum should also be informative.
I really liked it there. But business... The entrance to the museum and the tower are different tickets. My husband says he remembers that the town hall was slightly moved. Previously, she was in the place of "Oksana, running from the Lavsan." The museum staff denies this. From the Dnieper, the town hall is now on the side, but "Oksana" is in the center. Perhaps in those days the town hall was still built in the center of the square.
The town hall is gorgeous, we went up to the tower, watched the clockwork and bells. History, art, respect for those who were able to preserve, restore and adequately present it to people.
A new model, but quite interesting. From the outside, the building looks like what stood there before the war. Well, judging by the photo, that was it. There is an interesting museum inside. The ticket price is very pleasant. And some of the exhibits are simply magnificent.
This is probably the best place in Mogilev to visit. The view is good both outside and inside, in fact, the town hall is being renovated by a whole walking park. The top view of the Dnieper is also gorgeous.
A small museum with interesting exhibits. Especially interesting is the part of the exposition in the clock tower, where they talk about the creation of clocks and Mogislav, a mechanical trumpeter who performs a melody every day at 12 o'clock in the afternoon.
The town Hall was built recently.
The tour is interesting. They told us all the nuances of construction and destruction.
Inside, you can examine in detail the mechanical clock and the trumpeter Mogislav, who sings the anthem of the city at noon.
From the height of the town hall there is a wonderful view of Mogilev and its park.
Inside there is a small museum and a meeting room...
