It's nice to go there in the heat, 10-15 minutes, there's nothing else to do there. In August 2024, admission for an adult cost 100 liras, for a child under 7 years old - 30 liras. It is located at the end (or beginning) of Cleopatra beach, under the mountain, where the Alanya fortress is located.

Well, ugh. It's not worth the money and time spent. Entrance, steps, a tiny hall with benches. There is warm, damp air inside (I don't know how useful it is, but many people come specifically to breathe).
If you've been to other caves before, this one won't impress you. At the exit, we met an excursion group and the place in the cave abruptly ended.

Damlatash cave was discovered in 1948. It was intended to extract stone for the construction of the port.The cave is located in the west of the historical fortress of Alanya. At the entrance to the cave there is a passage 50 meters long. Through a passage 15 m high, you can get into a cylinder-shaped cavity. From here you can go down to the bottom of the cave. The cave got its name from stalactites, through which water droplets flow (damla - droplet). The cave is famous not only for its mesmerizing beauty, but also for the air, which has a beneficial effect on asthmatics. There are patients who are prescribed a 21-day course of treatment under the supervision of a doctor, i.e. they stay inside the cave for a certain time. The air in the cave is the same in winter and summer; the air temperature is +22° C degrees, humidity is 95%, constant pressure is 760 mm. The components of the cave's air are 71 percent nitrogen, 20.5 oxygen, 2.5 percent of the ten thousandth part of carbon dioxide, one percent of radioactive substances with ions. We visited this cave only because it is within walking distance from our hotel. As it turned out, many people who come on vacation visit the cave in order to raise their immunity. The air of the cave copes especially well with bronchopulmonary diseases. We met an asthmatic woman with 2 disability groups. Visiting the cave during 10 days of vacation allows her not to use inhalers during the year. The doctors in her case just shrug their hands- like, this is the first time we've seen this. So I highly recommend a visit for wellness purposes!
