We visited this restaurant based on recommendations from TikTokers, and we're so glad we did. From the moment we entered, we were captivated by the charming interior and cozy atmosphere. The staff spoke excellent English, and an English menu was available. The restaurant offers a diverse selection of food and drinks. We look forward to returning in the future to try more dishes. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!
Darejani is an institution of Georgian cuisine, where delicious khachapuri, wine and everything else (I tried a lot of things there).
A pleasant atmosphere with small tables, where a kind of intimate atmosphere is created. Clean and beautiful interior and traditional Georgian music in the background.
It may seem a little cramped to some, but it suits me.
The score is above average.
Excellent restaurant, pleasant atmosphere, delicious food, very polite and efficient staff. The boarding is very tight, sometimes the food is delayed, in this case, they give a small compliment or give coupons for the next visit.
The only thing I didn't like was that it was cramped, the tables were right next to each other, and I had to listen to other people's gossip
A cozy atmospheric restaurant. Excellent Oriental and Caucasian cuisine. We were especially surprised by the meat delicacies and shish kebab. Generous portions. Quite adequate prices for the quality and size of portions.
Pleasant, non-annoying music. The volume of the music is moderate, it did not interfere with hearing the interlocutor.
there are promotions that pleased me.
Polite and competent staff.
The halls are clean and tidy. Clean and equipped bathrooms.
of the cons:
the parking is very small.
a noisy street three meters from the restaurant.
There is no children's room or play area.
I didn't like the draught "homemade wine" very much. It tastes like a schmurdyak.
In general, I liked it very much and left a pleasant impression. I will recommend it to my friends.
Hello everyone!
This restaurant used to be one of our favorites, we invited all our friends and guests from other countries here to Darejani .
But now we'll never go!
The beer was served warm in bottles !!! This is a nightmare! We refused , but it was included in the bill . That's okay!
When the khachapuri arrived , the waiter simply put it on the table and did not offer to stir and cut it , i.e. put it on everyone 's plates . We asked her ourselves. By that time, it had cooled down and almost the filling stood up like a stake .
In short, the service has become very low .
The waiter is like a robot , you don 't even want to eat there after such an attitude . Each national cuisine has its own dish, if the cook tries and cooks, then everything can be spoiled by his inept service and serving by the waiter.
We will definitely never come to this place again .
Wonderful cuisine, atmosphere and service. Everything is top-notch, fast, delicious - from the meeting to the very exit from the door. And what a wine! And khachapuri! And khinkali!
You just can't leave hungry or unhappy)))
Nice and pleasant staff, excellent service, food was brought quickly. The place looks cozy and beautiful. All the dishes were delicious, cooked for 10/10
One of the best Georgian restaurants in the CIS. Every time we come to Almaty, we visit this wonderful place! The dishes are on top! I wish you to stay as cool as you are!
The food is very tasty, the choice is great
The service is at the highest level, I'm not afraid of this word, I don't know there maybe a Korean, maybe a Dungan, serves coolly and with dignity.
Favorite restaurant for several years! The kitchen is excellent, a large selection of dishes for every taste, a cozy and warm atmosphere, like at home, especially the interior helps in this) the waiters are cute)) The price tag is above average
An excellent restaurant with delicious Georgian cuisine, professionally selected staff and a cozy atmosphere. The place seemed a little expensive to us, but this price is more than compensated by the magical surroundings of this beautiful place!
Well, I think it's unnecessary to say something! Anyone who has ever been to Darejani will understand. In general, the whole network is just working at 100%. The soul is invested. You can feel it in the delicious food, in the excellent service and in the interior. There are a lot of things you can say, but it's better to go and try it yourself)
A very cozy cafe. I really liked the kitchen. We ordered khinkali very tasty, we liked it very much with cheese in sauce, the most delicious turned out to be right here! Delicious homemade red wine. The service is excellent. The prices correspond to the service.
An atmospheric and cozy place with delicious food.
I really liked the salad with sprouted wheat. (Fresh, light).
Lula kebab - great, great!
Dolma with fish is very unusual, but something is wrong... classic dolma is still much tastier. (Besides, I got a bone in).
Good, friendly service.
Dinner here was wonderful in everything: great food, the best khachapuri I've ever eaten anywhere, great atmosphere. And the waiter Violetta made this evening unforgettable - 10/10
Excellent Georgian restaurant
Positive:
1. Delicious food
We have been to the institution 5+ times. We tried many positions - none disappointed.
2. Staff
We consistently fell for one of the nicest waiters. Because of such people, I want to return to the institution.
What's more important is that they serve you very quickly.
3. Prices
Meat and chicken in Megrelian is a local masterpiece. We have not found such delicious food anywhere else, even in Georgia. The service is excellent. It's stuffy with a full landing, but the atmosphere is homely.
A cozy place, a pleasant atmosphere for family or friendly gatherings in a small circle. I really like the cuisine, delicious Georgian dishes. Only lemonade is not very)).

Excellent cuisine, cozy hall, wonderful chacha, high-quality service. Georgian dishes are super! Wonderful hot tortillas. Cleanliness and comfort.
Very tasty! Pleasant atmosphere, khinkali is simply delicious! A lot of Georgian snacks, polite staff, a banquet for 12-15 people can cost you 200 thousand tenge, it's very cheap for this location.
Darejani is a cozy and beautiful restaurant, with quite tasty dishes. Going to this place, I imagined a "kilometer" menu, but it turned out that the choice there is not very rich, several types of khinkali, a little more khachapuri, 3-4 types of kebabs and the rest soups, salads and hot dishes (of which there are not so many). The service is good, but I was there at lunchtime and there were enough people there, maybe that's why the waiter forgot or did not have time to bring the ordered item, but if he remembered everything, then the dishes arrived quickly. Therefore, if you want to have a quiet and delicious meal, then I definitely recommend coming here.
It's a great place in terms of cuisine and wine. There is also a good location and a view of the hotel "Kazakhstan". It is worth noting that it is impossible to sit at some tables in cold weather because it blows very much from the window
They were kicked out after 2 hours of being here. They informed us that on March 8 they have a queue and we need to leave, because there are still guests waiting. We didn't warn you about this in advance. There were girls at the table. Dear guests, keep in mind that you may be kicked out in the middle of the holiday simply because they want to seat a little more guests. Of course I won't come back here anymore. Food and wine are normal. The waiters are also good, there are no complaints about them. The policy of the institution couldn't be worse👎
It's a great place. Delicious Georgian cuisine (I really liked chikhirtma), good wine, a cozy summer veranda - although it is small, but with a sooo beautiful view of the hotel Kazakhstan, in the evening it is especially pleasant to admire its luminous crown with a glass of wine. I recommend
I finally visited a Georgian restaurant again, and I can't help but share my impression. They have significantly improved the menu and the quality of the products, and it is noticeable immediately. When I was looking through the menu, it was difficult to choose because all the dishes sounded so appetizing.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was very cozy, and at the same time, a little mysterious. However, there is one thing that confused me a little - an open kitchen located in the center of the hall. Undoubtedly, this added authenticity and allowed you to see the cooking process, but because of this, the heat was constantly coming. It seems to me that placing the kitchen in a different location or installing a ventilation system could solve this problem.
However, despite this slight inconvenience, the service in the restaurant has always been excellent. The staff was attentive and friendly, always ready to help with the selection of dishes and recommend something new. They were attentive to detail and provided us with a pleasant visiting experience.
Now about the most important thing - food. Khinkali, khachapuri, salads are the best dishes in the restaurant. Khinkali was juicy and full of flavor, with a delicate dough and fragrant filling. Khachapuri was just amazing - perfectly baked dough with cheese that melted in your mouth. The salads were fresh and refreshing, the perfect complement to the main courses.
Georgian wines should also be noted. The restaurant offers an excellent selection of Georgian wines, which are perfectly combined with the dishes. I really enjoyed enjoying the rich taste and aroma of these wines.
Overall, despite some shortcomings, I was very pleased with my visit to this Georgian restaurant
We had a great time on March 8th! We appreciated both the new items on the menu and the courtesy of the administrator, who provided a good table with a fully filled hall.
The fit is quite tight, the price tag is somewhat too high, especially on the bar card. The kitchen is good, the serving is classic. The service speed is slightly lower than average.
A crowded restaurant, delicious food, fast service, a diverse audience of visitors. I really liked everything. The pastries are worthy of special praise, served hot. There are original desserts.
It's a great restaurant. The prices correspond to the restaurant prices. The food is awesome, I just want to eat more and more. According to the alcohol card, I did not feel any kind of gustatory ecstasy from chacha, it looks like ordinary moonshine
Mini khinkali is very tasty here. The barbecue is not very good, we ordered it several times and were disappointed. Homemade wine is normal. The service is average, the waiters change frequently, and the receptionist is unfriendly.
Fast and friendly service, beef in the Megrelian style is cooked perfectly. The only drawback is not the largest menu, but the dishes that are there are very tasty.
Cozy atmosphere, delicious variety of dishes. Great location. Having refreshed yourself, you can walk - near the square in front of the Palace of the Republic, the embankment of the Malaya Almatinka River, the Kok-Tobe cable car station.
Interesting interior with lots of details.
The service is on the level, but we got into a jam, and all the dishes were delayed for me, although taking into account that only I was delayed from our company, most likely that's not the point)
And so the impression is only good
Unexpectedly tasty and professional (not comparable to the experience of 3 years ago)!
The bean salad is incredible (5 points for the dressing). Khachapuri ajaruli is the way it is prepared in Georgia - a delicate crispy crust and lots and lots of cheese. I liked that the filling is not sour, as in most Georgian restaurants.
The staff left two impressions… We asked the waiter to take the order - he ran first of all to serve the table, which sat down much later than us (apparently, the guests were more serious). But for the promptness of the submission - great praise!
During the Oraza, I was on auyzashar. I can't say that it was very tasty. The soup did not surprise me, there are many places where the food tastes better.
