I liked the hotel as a whole. For this price, everything was fine. Great location. Very comfortable beds. Large rooms, normal plumbing. Quiet and peaceful. Friendly staff, everyone speaks Russian. The hotel is not new, it is noticeable. And the breakfast is not very good. But in general I recommend it.

The hotel is nice and cozy. The location is good. There is everything you need nearby. But there is no breakfast, boiled eggs, yogurt, some kind of sausage, ordinary and processed cheese, there is no coffee machine (coffee is poured into a thermos).
I went to a restaurant for a snack, there was no meat or fish, mostly simple salads and pizza. You can't pay with a card, you had to go to the reception to pay.

The hotel is very very tired. The sheets are smaller than the bed - this is nonsense, of course. The beds are sunken, it's hell for my back, the furniture is crumbling - the chair really almost fell through under me. The wallpaper is moving away in places. The Internet disappeared in the evening and never appeared. It smells of tobacco and sewage. There is no clothes rack at the entrance. The outlet did not work, the friend did. In general, I am shocked that such hotels exist and charge a lot of money for accommodation. I highly recommend it to no one. This is not a hotel, this is some kind of hostel - a flophouse for people who disrespect themselves.

The hotel is very tired, dirty rooms, the light in the corridor did not work, apparently the carpet has not been cleaned for a very long time (although it is clearly time to replace it with a new one), when you turn on the underfloor heating, a very strange smell is absolutely not possible in the room. I stayed at the hotel in December 2023, I couldn't get into the room for 2 days in a row, I had to go down and change the key card, but as soon as I went up to the room I couldn't open the door again, I had to go down again and again 5-6 times

He lived from 05.09-08.09.2023. The location is good, that's all. The rooms are all in terrible condition, even cosmetic repairs are not carried out. Breakfast was included, but I couldn't eat properly more than once. The first day I stood waiting for a place at the table and a queue for coffee, as a result, I left after 10 minutes. On the second day, I tuned in to a bad breakfast, but it turned out to be even worse. The table waited 5-7 minutes again. I waited for coffee for 15 minutes. I waited for scrambled eggs for 30 minutes and it was terrible. The staff doesn't care about anything. I do not recommend considering this hotel for a stopover.

The outside is a very modern hotel. The lobby is expensive and rich, the receptionists are responsive and ready to help. The room is clean and quiet, BUT the rooms are tired: the carpet is worn to holes; half of the lighting lamps are not lit; the handle is torn off in the bathtub, holes remain in the tile and dark marks on the tile are not even erased. There is no hot water in the morning, that's the worst thing.

Dear visitors! If you suddenly come across this hotel in booking, do not believe the reviews! Disgusting hotel! The constant smell of sewage, we rented 2 rooms, went to other rooms in the hope that everything would be different, but no, the sewer makes itself felt! The room stock has been outdated for a long time, the carpet is worn out, bed linen, towels, bathrobes deserve to be in the trash, but not for the benefit of visitors!!! The towels are gray, the mohair robes are so embroidered that the mohair is not visible and the holes are visible! There is fungus, rust, dirt in the bathroom! Unfortunately, the hotel is abandoned, the location of the hotel is excellent, but the quality of accommodation leaves much to be desired

The diplomat left the most wonderful memories! Great view, excellent location, room service. However, I did not really like the food, the price and taste do not match)))) although perhaps everything has already changed, with the replacement of the cook.
We were at the spa. It's strange that you have to walk across the street 🤨 in winter, it's a so-so story.
The spa was cold but clean.
If I fly to Nursultan, I will definitely stay at the Diplomat again 👍🏻👍🏻

The hotel uses fraudulent schemes, claims that a paid reservation cannot be made and offers to re-pay in cash, where the price is 60% higher.
The hotel itself is very tired, during the time I was dealing with my problem, 3 people with a similar problem and several guests came up who complained about the cold in the rooms or that they promised to come up to fix something in the room on the third day.
After spending the night in the room, all the problems became clear: an old unpleasant room, the smell of sewage, cold and dead heaters — this is the environment offered inside.

The Standard room is spacious, but the wallpaper is torn, the plumbing did not work - I had to call a repairman in the middle of the night, towels and bathrobes look like after a landfill with a plastic crawl. The breakfast is passable.
The standard room is not worth its 30,000 tenge per day in any way.
