A magical place. This is a new building, but the market square was recreated with such care. Everything is green, clean, and full of flowers. Various events are constantly taking place: photo shoots in national costumes, concerts. The shops sell authentic handmade or handmade souvenirs. And what a stunning fountain that will remain in your memory forever. It is definitely worth visiting this place. Samarkand City is beautiful both during the day and in the evening when it is already getting cooler and the illumination turns on. From the eternal city to the fountain, you can drive an electric car for 10 thousand soums or walk about a kilometer.

I haven't been to Samarkand for a long time. They offered to see the Eternal City. Located on the outskirts of the city, 25 minutes from the center. A special barrier is installed in front of the entrance, which records the car number. If the taxi does not leave within 10 minutes, a payment of 20 thousand soums will be charged.
I recommend visiting in the evening after sunset, there is no shade. The large territory includes a complex of shopping malls, cafes, restaurants and an amusement park for children. Further along the perimeter are the hotel and spa centers. Very convenient for tourists. Very cozy atmosphere.

In Samarkand, almost all the sights are scattered. In 4-5 hours, you can travel around everything for $ 40-45. The driver will promise to take you and tell you everything. But there will be a minimum of information, because this is not a guide.
I think it will be cheaper to get there by taxi. Each attraction is paid separately.

They made it beautifully, sterile, but it's all artificial. It would be better if they developed infrastructure next to these real objects, made cafes and recreation places, than duplicated historical sites. There is a secondary side to this. Souvenirs and local handicrafts are sold in every real ancient madrasah and in every monument, a newly made Eternal City is not needed for them. It is better to equalize the quality of service in those that already exist in each museum and nearby. They just built it for the summit. This is the author's personal opinion.

The place is very interesting and beautiful. The pavilions are stylized as national monuments, not copies. Inside there are shops, dishes, paintings, clothes (the price is fixed, they are not traded, but the price tag is adequate), there is a restaurant (it was not). There are children's attractions, but they did not work, by the summer it was a very popular place, the locals said. We drove to the fountains on a square (10,000 soums, it seems) 1.5 km away.
