A magical place. This is a new building, but the market square was recreated with such care. Everything is green, clean, and full of flowers. Various events are constantly taking place: photo shoots in national costumes, concerts. The shops sell authentic handmade or handmade souvenirs. And what a stunning fountain that will remain in your memory forever. It is definitely worth visiting this place. Samarkand City is beautiful both during the day and in the evening when it is already getting cooler and the illumination turns on. From the eternal city to the fountain, you can drive an electric car for 10 thousand soums or walk about a kilometer.
We got to a celebration, a very beautiful fountain, the water played with music and color rays, it was great. And the eternal city impresses with its architecture and masaika. We visited a restaurant here and had a delicious meal
One of the most striking sights. It's worth a visit. But it's better to come when it's dark and the backlight is on. There are many workshops with workshops and souvenir shops inside, beautiful and clean. A great boat trip along the canal, a good, long route, beautiful views. Well, the fountain is the best in Uzbekistan!!! A very beautiful and diverse selection of music, the fountain itself is impressive in size and height and it really dances to the beat of the music! While in the eternal city itself, not everything is fully inhabited, there are many empty rooms, but over time I think everything will be ready to be filled
I haven't been to Samarkand for a long time. They offered to see the Eternal City. Located on the outskirts of the city, 25 minutes from the center. A special barrier is installed in front of the entrance, which records the car number. If the taxi does not leave within 10 minutes, a payment of 20 thousand soums will be charged.
I recommend visiting in the evening after sunset, there is no shade. The large territory includes a complex of shopping malls, cafes, restaurants and an amusement park for children. Further along the perimeter are the hotel and spa centers. Very convenient for tourists. Very cozy atmosphere.

The Eternal City is one of the most atmospheric places in Samarkand. Here you can feel the spirit of antiquity, strolling through the narrow streets decorated in the style of ancient oriental cities. The architecture, music and overall design create the feeling that you have been transported back several centuries.
Positive:
✔ The unique atmosphere of the old eastern city.
There are many interesting cafes, restaurants and souvenir shops.
✔ A great place for photos and walks.
✔ Cultural events and shows are often held.
Cons:
Prices in cafes and souvenir shops are above average.
There may be a lot of people in the evening.
In general, the Eternal City is a place worth visiting at least once. If you want to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of ancient Samarkand and take beautiful photos, then you are definitely here!
We liked it! We were after sunset, a very nice and colorful embodiment of the old town with restaurants and souvenir shops. Great location for a photo.
It's a beautiful show. A variety of musical compositions. The duration is 30 minutes. There are some very interesting finds. The park itself is mostly shops and cafes
The most interesting thing for us was the papermaking workshop. The workshop owner is a true master of his craft, responsive and open-minded! He told and showed the whole process, showed the finished works
This park is required to visit. It is very crowded during the holidays, concerts and various entertainment events take place. Despite the fact that it is located outside the city, Yandex taxi costs 20 500 rubles. In rubles for March 24, this is about 150 rubles. Therefore, it is possible to negotiate with local bombers for 20 thousand som.
In Samarkand, almost all the sights are scattered. In 4-5 hours, you can travel around everything for $ 40-45. The driver will promise to take you and tell you everything. But there will be a minimum of information, because this is not a guide.
I think it will be cheaper to get there by taxi. Each attraction is paid separately.
That's how the park of culture and recreation is written, so it is.
A small area of the "old city" like Khiva. It is neatly built up, it is pleasant to walk.
Shops, several restaurants.
You can't walk along the canal - there is space around, you can go far, there are no shops. There are new expensive hotels.
It's quite nice to take a walk.
They say there are no people in the morning, people have been coming since three o'clock.
I think it's beautiful there in the evening to sit in a restaurant by the canal with beautiful lighting in the heat.
In general, a place of rest. It's completely new, small.
They made it beautifully, sterile, but it's all artificial. It would be better if they developed infrastructure next to these real objects, made cafes and recreation places, than duplicated historical sites. There is a secondary side to this. Souvenirs and local handicrafts are sold in every real ancient madrasah and in every monument, a newly made Eternal City is not needed for them. It is better to equalize the quality of service in those that already exist in each museum and nearby. They just built it for the summit. This is the author's personal opinion.
Beautiful! That's great! Wow! Clear! As in an oriental fairy tale, it seems that Aladin will fly around the bend on his magic carpet and offer to go on an unforgettable journey with him!)))
The place is very interesting and beautiful. The pavilions are stylized as national monuments, not copies. Inside there are shops, dishes, paintings, clothes (the price is fixed, they are not traded, but the price tag is adequate), there is a restaurant (it was not). There are children's attractions, but they did not work, by the summer it was a very popular place, the locals said. We drove to the fountains on a square (10,000 soums, it seems) 1.5 km away.
It's a very atmospheric place. A cozy town with many workshops where you can take a master class, many souvenir shops. There is a cafe, a spacious Afrosiab restaurant with delicious dishes and good prices. There is a boat rental service. You can take a boat ride inside the town and with access to the rowing canal. Big greetings to the guys from the rental ✌
The place is nice, beautiful, fantan is also beautifully decorated, there are attractions for children. The place is big, it's bad that there aren't that many seats. If you come with your grandparents, they may get tired.
A great place to relax! It will get even better over time, as an active trend of further infrastructure development is visible. Delicious cuisine, attractions, walks along the rowing canal, wonderful locations for concerts.
A good place for a photo shoot. All buildings are built in the form of reduced copies of the main attractions of Samarkand. There are souvenir shops in them. There are several attractions on site. We were in the evening, all the food outlets were closed already (19-00). A beautiful place to walk.
The show program is very beautiful. He came almost every day in the summer. To get emotions and relax. We walked with our family and it was good for our health
The area is very beautiful. We were at the end of October. In the summer evening, it's probably nice to sit outside, drink tea and have a snack. But there's not much to do at the moment, just walk around and that's it. There is not enough fullness, activity and movement. It's pretty boring so far, it's worth developing the project more actively.
We visited the Eternal City in the evening, it was time before the train left for Bukhara. Thanks to the taxi driver, he suggested this particular place. A beautiful ensemble, the island is a grand layout of business cards of Uzbekistan. Everyone will find something to do.
Very beautiful! We really liked it. The atmosphere is chic especially in the evening. Anyone there will like it 150%. There are a lot of places where you can take photos. It's just a fairy tale. I also want to go there. I advise everyone to visit there, you will not regret it.
It's a very cool place. Walking in the fresh air, take a ride on a golf cart on the territory or by boat along the canals. Cool restaurants and cafes, the KORAN museum, boutiques of national author's clothing, knives, dishes and souvenirs made of handmade ceramics. Concerts, Disco Shows.
It's interesting to see. A new model in the style of ancient structures, built for the SCO summit on the shore of the rowing canal. On the way to Samarkand. Of course, for authentic ancient architecture, you need to go to Samarkand itself. But the built Eternal City is also good. Beautiful views, souvenirs, cafes. It's very hot in the afternoon) but you can hide in a cafe or it's better to arrive in the evening
A wonderful center, very interesting, wonderful ceramics workshops, a paper workshop, very friendly hosts!
We recommend visiting this magical city, especially the ceramics workshop of Alisher Nosirov, where magnificent ceramics and workshops and the Samarkand Paper workshop are very interesting!
This is of course a new model, for lovers of real antiquity it will not go in. All the local attractions are in miniature. Artisan workshops are open.you can take a ride on the canal. You can walk around the blocks and houses. The expositions are designed in such a way that it seems you came to visit, and the hosts went out for a while. We definitely recommend it
It's a very unusual place. Expositions of all cities of Uzbekistan are presented here. There is an interesting amphitheater stage. Regattas are held and you can just ride catamarans. The views are beautiful. Very cool restaurant on site. It's worth a look. By cheap taxi from Samarkand
It's a great place. It's nice to take a walk and see the buildings. Good restaurants. A place for fishing. Clean and well maintained. We were unlucky with the weather, there were no performances.
There's nowhere to eat, only one restaurant, and that's on a sanitary day… Away from the main attractions. If you are in Samarkand, you can safely skip if there is no time. There is nothing much to do there, as it does not evoke the impression of an oriental fairy tale, custom
Oh, it's a song! How well thought out! It's beautiful, it's the best thing to take a walk in the evening! Take a leisurely look at everything and have a very pleasant atmosphere!
It's a bit far from the center, but it's very beautiful. Inside there are cafes, shops, a mock-up of the Ulugbek observatory (almost life-size).
It is located on the territory of a tourist center built for the meeting of the SCO member states.
Nearby there is a rowing canal, ponds, fishing, hotels.
I definitely recommend it.
Everything is very beautiful. You can get there by taxi inexpensively. There are barkers at the restaurant on site. Everything looks colorful and interesting. I recommend this location to visit.
It's a wonderful place. You can take a ride around on an electric boat. 10 minutes is very impressive. It is worth going up to the veranda of the Afrosiab restaurant.
A beautiful place for walking and shopping. There are many different craft workshops-shops in which you will be happy to be told about the craft itself, and a little bit of history about the product itself)
Very magnificent structures. It takes your breath away! We were on an excursion, but it seems to me that it will also be interesting to just walk on your own!
We were there before the opening of various shops and other outlets. It's like walking into an oriental fairy tale. Everything is done in the same style and creates a solid image of the town. There is a cafe with delicious ice cream. There is a lot of water around, you can go boating. The entrance to the eternal city itself is free, the boat is 50k sum for a walk. They write that the walk is 15 minutes, but in fact all 25 with access to large water.
It's a very cool idea. The interior is very beautiful, colorful, especially for those who like to look at the architecture of those years. Everyone is very polite. The prices are reasonable.
To be honest, I didn't understand why everyone was so excited. An ordinary retail space. Where they sell the same thing both in Bukhara and in Samarkand.
Parking lots are dirty and dirty. The pavilions are closed. There is NO information at the entrance that entry is paid. It costs 15,000.
In short, I didn't like it.
Agroba in miniature. Streets, workshops, shops, restaurants. To pass, to see, to take pictures. But it is worth remembering that the place is located somewhat away from the main attractions and is very compact. You can get around everything in an hour and a half.
Great, I advise you, I come from there myself.I was born in Samarkand and I am very proud of it.Amur City is 2750 years old.Welcome guests we will be glad
We walked and enjoyed the beauty and identity of the Eternal City! Beauty both in the daytime and in the evening! I recommend visiting this cozy place!
It is an unusual place and being in Samarkand it is necessary to visit here. I liked it very much . It is especially beautiful here in the evening when the lanterns are lit.
Fountains are open from 19-20 o'clock in the season, depending on the sunset. You can get close to the fountains, because of this they make a cool impression. They always sing, more than once an hour, you can come at any time - another advantage. A shuttle runs from the gates of the eternal city for 10,000 soums. The eternal city itself is beautiful, there are boutiques with cool souvenirs, knives and an awesome Afrosieb restaurant, prices are not high
