It is a very beautiful place, various contests and a cultural program were held for the Navruz holiday, the only thing is very windy, I advise you to look into the afrosiab restaurant there, the cuisine is very tasty
Nicely. There are few people on weekdays and the name "Ghost Town" is more appropriate. They say that locals come here for a walk on weekends. But there are few tourists, they mostly walk around the old town
It was January, off-season, and the shops and most restaurants were closed. But it's perfect for a leisurely walk.
It takes about 20 minutes by taxi from the center of Samarkand
A place where it makes no sense to go on purpose. It is located outside the city, near the tourist center, on the banks of the canal. In fact, it is a bazaar where you can buy souvenirs. Terrible lighting, blaring music...much like an amateur
Nice decorations. You can see how the famous Samarkand paper is made - the whole process. Perhaps there is more life here in high season, but at the end of October - little is open, stunted souvenirs mostly.
It's a very interesting place. It is constantly evolving and transforming. I recommend you to visit.
It is better to leave in the late afternoon, when the heat subsides. With the onset of evening, the backlight turns on.
You can walk along the makeshift streets of various cities of Uzbekistan. Get acquainted with folk crafts. To attend the performance of animators, with dances and songs.
Take a boat trip on an artificial canal
Food-cafes, restaurants
There are unique shops with very interesting products. It's not very budget-friendly.
For example, you can buy national clothes made from ties of various well-known brands.
The views are great, the place is wonderful.
To get there-by taxi
To leave, it can sometimes be difficult here, not everywhere taxi drivers can park.

Everything is very beautiful here, near the embankment, the river channel, everything is cozy, the weather is very fresh like the old city, everything is built very architecturally. I advise all guests of the city of Samarkand to visit this place!
Cool. Especially the awesome fountain in the evening. On the territory of the complex, the afrosiyob restaurant surprised in terms of cost and quality of service in a good way.
It is a very beautiful place for evening rest and walks. Definitely worth a visit. It's strange that few people write about him on the Internet. Yes, it is not a historical landmark, but just a wonderful place with a magical atmosphere
It's a nice place to walk, but if you want something historical, then go down to the alley of stars and it's very beautiful there, stunning statues of famous people of Uzbekistan
Very beautiful. Like in Aladdin's fairy tale. The prices are not too high. You can buy national robes at reasonable prices. Food, music, walking on the water. It is worth visiting 100%
This place is worth a visit, It is generally beautiful, especially in the evening when the backlight is turned on.
It reminds of how magic siti is in Tashkent , only with a national local bias , no piz, pita bread, only local samsa, and Samarkand flatbreads, cool.
There is still an uninhabited area in the back , with children 's attractions .
We can only say good things, everything is beautiful, lanterns are lit everywhere, a very good place for a walk with the family, since we have few places in the city where you can take a walk with your family in the evening

It's beautiful, there are a lot of locations for photo shoots, there is a cool paper making workshop, special thanks to the master for a detailed description of the silk paper production process.
Oriental fairy tale 👍 You can walk for a long time. It's very beautiful in the evening. There are cafes and restaurants. The light and music fountain is beautiful!
It's great to take a walk with the kids in the evening, but not without a wheelchair or a scooter on foot. Children get tired and run there when it gets warmer in winter.
I am absolutely delighted with everything that is in the Eternal City: antique architecture, the arrangement of canals, the presence of swimming pools. funds for those who like to ride them, the availability of attractions for children, beautiful roads and sidewalks, and how beautifully decorated flower beds, a variety of colors pleases the eye. A large number of catering outlets - restaurants and cafes with a variety of dishes both national and European. In general, a great place to relax!
I wasn't particularly impressed. After Bukhara, you generally realize the artificiality of this "city". But the nearby musical fountain was a great pleasure! The idea of the city is quite clear: to show how it looked. But it didn't work out, as it seems to me
A good place to walk, you can with children. A kind of young old town. Modern buildings depict the architecture of the old city. It reminded me of the Izmailovsky Kremlin in Moscow.
In each pavilion there is an exhibition and sale of handicrafts. You can have tea. Songs and dances of folk groups in costumes.
Very cozy, colorful. And it doesn't matter what the new model is, but it's very pleasant to take a boat ride along the canals and admire Uzbekistan in miniature.

A new model, but very authentic. A kind of old town with shopping malls.
It didn't work out to see everything, because there were some filming.
There is a Bagizagan winery store at the entrance, where you can taste wine and cognac. My idea of Uzbek wines has changed radically!
An ideal place for walking. In fact, it was only a couple of hours, but the scale is impressive. I think I need to check in for a couple of days, live here. Otherwise , it will not be possible to understand that objectively . We built this place for the Sco meeting, it seems like we spent half a billion dollars)).
Well done , let people rejoice and relax here .!
The island of the fair of local artisans. And a great place for photos. It is worth going only if you have spent a lot of time in Samarkand and have already looked at the historical sites
It's an amazing place that I've never seen before in my life. The view grabs the soul, as if the fairy-tale world has become a reality. A wonderful place to spend time with family and relatives.

One of the most beautiful places in Samarkand, both for guests and locals, there is a musical fountain, restaurants, bars , shops , attractions, the atmosphere is super.
I really liked this place.
We were in the evening, everything was illuminated, the atmosphere of the old city was really recreated.
On the territory of the ensemble there is a restaurant with very tasty food.
I recommend you to visit.
It is beautiful and interesting in terms of how the architectural monuments of Samarkand could look when they were new. You can feed the fish in the canal, they are very big there.
It is very beautiful and unusual. On the one hand, reduced copies of the sights on the other hand, the architecture of our time. You can take a boat ride around

Great place!! Be sure to go to the fountains - a very beautiful show! (It takes about 15 minutes to walk to them, and you definitely have to go in the evening). And there are a lot of atmospheric shops, cafes, restaurants and tasting rooms. By the way, to taste local wines - you are in the Eternal City!! It takes about 20 minutes and 20-25 thousand soums to get to it from the center of Samarkand
How I love walking around the Eternal City! Wonderful streets, lovely cafes and, most importantly, oriental flavor! Bukhara, Samarkand, and Khiva are here!
We didn't like it, the huge distances between the objects were on Saturday, nothing really works, the fountains didn't work either, in general, it's an incomprehensible place for us.
An amazing place! Beautiful! There are a lot of shops, prices are even lower than in other places! Very tasty! Samsa is incomparable. There is live music in the restaurant. I highly recommend it!
An interesting place, many outlets with souvenirs and traditional handicrafts. We got to the Navruz holiday: dances and songs, kites, people are resting.
It's a beautiful place. Very interesting buildings are collected on a small area. Walking through the streets, you always want to look around the corner. The first time we were in the evening, it seemed like we were in an oriental fairy tale.
We have arrived, but the central part is closed. Some kind of banquet. No ads on the site, nothing. How people walking can interfere with the banquet is a big question. The East is a delicate matter, they are still far from the qualitative development of tourism.
A very beautiful and colorful place (we were in the evening)! It is especially impressive after a day hike through historical sites... Not everything really has a finished look, but this does not break the overall picture. I recommend. Ps if you arrive, go to the wine / skate shop on the main street - from the second floor, where you can sit, there is a wonderful view.
A small beautiful quarter, there are activities for tourists, walking in the afternoon and evening, boating with a helmsman, a new building at some distance from the city.
