We visited Abkhazia, Gagra in 10 years. Gagra has changed a little, of course there is still a lot of work ...
We started looking for a cafe (so that it would be delicious and the music would not bother, because on the coast the music rumbles- honestly not ours- who knows how). We found the cafe "Femily" according to reviews. We sat in the evening with my husband over a bottle of wine. The service is normal. The food is excellent, it was brought quickly (Caesar, Abkhazian roast and Julienne were ordered). Everything is delicious. The music is not loud. The prices are normal, of course, depending on who. Thank you, it's a good place. I recommend.

A wonderful place that stands out from the rest of the neighborhood! Excellent cuisine, interesting exterior and interior. Prices are higher than other cafes, but you can go in a couple of times for a vacation, it's worth it!

If you want to get to know the local cuisine, then you are clearly not here. This cafe is suitable for gatherings by the end of the vacation :) Since the menu is directly European. We walk here with the child during lunch. Very tasty pepperoni pizza, pasta, milkshakes, salads. Not to say that it is very expensive. The prices are the same as in family cafes in Moscow. More advantages: there is absolutely no smell of kitchen in the room; waiters are unobtrusive young people; they keep order, always clean the dishes on time and carefully wipe the table with special means after each visitor, even if people just sat and looked at the menu, then immediately left. Of the cons: there is no fragrant tea for a European cafe, the usual greenfield leaf brewed in a teapot is not solid like that :) I would like to see ginger, sea buckthorn, etc. on the menu.

The portions are small, and the price tags are St. Petersburg. In a Greek salad, there is 1 olive for the whole salad, and not a giant one, just a modest olive in the middle of the plate. There is little sauce in the carbonara, the pasta is boring.

We ordered a pizza to take away, and half an hour later we received it (pictured). The smell is not very good, they did not taste it, they threw it away.

I can't tell what the food tastes like there, because there's no chance of waiting for the waiters. They tried to eat twice. For the first time in 30 minutes of waiting, we didn't even wait for the menu. The second time after 10 minutes, the girl, passing by the table, threw the menu at him, waited another 20 minutes, no one deigned to bring the order. Good reviews and professional photos are probably from the owners of the establishment. By the way, those three pieces of meat in gravy with vegetables cost about 470 rubles and meat is called in Abkhazian, so be prepared for prices too. I read other reviews and understand that it's even good that we didn't wait, especially "glad" that the prices differ from the menu in a big way)))

A cafe with a claim to a restaurant. The prices do not match the quality of the dishes and the size of the contents. The waiters are not trained how to serve the guest. They do not know the basic rules of serving dishes! Coffee is brought and you have to wait for 30-40 minutes for a custom dessert when the coffee has already cooled down. Beer is poured from a bottle behind the bar, not in front of a guest at the table. We ordered Caesar salad. There is absolutely nothing with a generally accepted taste and appearance. The most interesting thing is that 10% of the service fee is included in the bill!!! Which is not there!

We were at this place today, ordered a latte and cappuccino.

Secondly, they brought terrible coffee, the most terrible in life. There was no milk in the latte, the coffee itself felt like an ordinary badyaga from a cheap jar. When we asked where the milk was, we were told that this was how it should be. The cappuccino was also terrible, but with milk. For this, we paid 350 rubles (10% for the service).
I do not recommend this place, a spoiled mood and the worst coffee in my life!!!! They refused to give a book of complaints and suggestions. Have a nice coffee!!!))

We went to this cafe yesterday afternoon. There were only two tables occupied. And the first one has already been served. They gave us a menu, we chose and waited. The waiters don't even come up, I had to call several times. We ordered a kebab, lamb kebab, Caesar salad and pasta. The pasta is too greasy. Lyulya is like a dry cutlet, lamb kebab is probably fried in a frying pan. The cook is not a professional at all. He should be sent to Tashkent to learn how to cook kebabs. They left disappointed. This is generally a separate conversation about the bill. Extremely overpriced.

Caesar salad... Withered bitter lettuce leaves, 1 (one Cherry tomato), half a quail egg without yolk, dry chicken breast from a billet of about 40 grams for the whole salad and MAYONNAISE! Total 400 rubles. We didn't finish it, but we paid.
Vodka is normal. Dioscuria wine is super.

I ordered noodles soup, instead of noodles there were whole spaghetti! ))) How can you eat spaghetti with a spoon, and even in soup))) while I was trying to adjust, I was covered in splashes of soup)) in general, I suffered and went on hungry... And this is for 300 rubles. in my opinion, it's a bit expensive)) sooooo light broth, spaghetti... and that's it)))) 3 stars is thanks to the staff, so it would be 0 stars)))

Novaya Gagra is my favorite place. We come here every time (we came to Abkhazia six times).
Very tasty mussels, khachapur, chacha and homemade wine, salads. Everything is delicious. I respect when there is no loss of quality no matter what. Well done, the hosts and the cook are excellent. Thank you for your efforts.

We were in Gagra for 4 days. We experimented for 2 days: we went to different places, but then we realized that it was better than the Family cafe until we found it! The best of all those places where we tried khachapuri there! Delicious hashlama soup. The menu is not very large, but there is something to choose from and it is very, very tasty. The only thing is a very small team, Sometimes you have to wait a very long time, but it's worth it if you want to have a delicious meal.
