It is completely unclear why, such a high rating. The serving was an hour, the portions were scanty, the lamb was disgusting, the service was at zero. It's not worth your wait and money.

Great place! We visited it 2 times, and both times without complaints. The only place in Gagra with good service. The waiters are polite, they are constantly wondering if there is enough, and they do not need to wait for half an hour. Music plays unobtrusively in the background, which immediately distinguishes it from other establishments. I strongly advise you to order meat in Abkhazian and a boat. When you eat the meat, dip the boat in the sauce from under it, it's just divine. While we were sitting in the cafe, we watched the picture as people came in, looked at the menu and were outraged by the prices. Yes, guys, this is not a canteen or a snack bar by the sea, where prices will be lower, but the quality of food and service are far from average. If you want to take a break from the noisy resort town with screaming music and waiters who think that everyone owes them something, then you definitely go to this cafe. In fact, the place itself was not bad and the hedgehog was quite tasty. But there is a huge but! I ordered trout. The menu had 100grams of 245 rubles written on it. They brought me a small fish. As a result, they calculated 1100 in the receipt and wrote 4 pieces. At first we thought that they had decided to deceive us... as it turned out, the fish weighed 400 grams and they calculated such an amount for us. How was it supposed to be? We should have been warned that the fish would weigh more. And that the claimed 100 grams is not a portion!

We were in this cafe on 08/11/2023. We ordered meat with vegetables, Caesar salad, Greek salad, rustic potatoes and compote.(the child was too lazy to be born). Everything was very tasty. Finally, we decided to order a pizza assortment. After taking a bite, everything started burning in our mouths, the children just screamed. Then they found a pod of bitter pepper in the pizza. The next day, the whole family lay flat with terrible poisoning. We puked, sorry, on this pizza. Only our grandmother was not ill, because she did not eat this pizza. The rest was a success thanks to this wonderful cafe. When asked by the waiter what hot pepper does in pizza, he replied that it shouldn't be here and simply apologized. Pepper is put in order to kill the smell of rotten meat. We were fed rotten pizza. Unscrupulous, they didn't even spare the children. The child's birthday is ruined. It's a terrible cafe, we'll never go back there. Be careful.

Because of which I did not sleep all night, I had a fever, without getting out of the bathroom, drinking water in a bite with absorbents. The cherry on the cake was that it was the night before I left for my homeland, the overall impression of the trip was ruined completely..

They ruined our vacation, poisoned us with hot pepper pizza
Everything would be fine, but in the end we ordered a regular assorted pizza
They brought it to us, we started eating and immediately noticed a strong sharpness, saw that there was a small string of hot pepper in the pizza, we called the waiter and asked where and why hot pepper was in an ordinary pizza?!
To which he was surprised, but did not answer anything intelligible, asked another waiter who served us, he He said that it was an assortment and there might be hot pepper 🌶 🤦
We have 2 children and an adult, why do children need spicy pizza? If you can have hot pepper in your pizza, at least you should have warned, suddenly someone has an ulcer, so why give children such spicy food?!
And as a result, an hour after we came home, my stomach began to twist, and at night my eldest daughter began to vomit, until in the morning, my youngest daughter started vomiting in the morning, my wife lay flat all day without strength, I also vomited all day, fortunately my mother did not eat this pizza and she pumped us out, ran to the pharmacy and gave us medicines.
Perhaps the products were overdue and they decided to hide it by slipping hot pepper so that it would interrupt the missing taste of the products

We were with my mother on 02/10/2023, there were few people. We ordered a boat, a kebab cradle and a barbecue.
No one decided to clarify the fact that the cradle was mutton to us, and it turned out to be in fact. The meat was all so dry that it just couldn't be described in words🥲
The boat was more or less edible
There is a cafe in Abkhazia much better than this one

We made an order at 20.55, the drinks were brought to my husband and me in 25 minutes, my daughter's milkshake was not brought within 50 minutes, which we stood there…The atmosphere itself and the music are very pleasant, BUT the cooking time is simply terrifying!There was a table next to it-they were waiting for a hot dish for 1 hour and 45 minutes... p.s. Caesar salad with shrimp costs 550 rubles - attention, there were exactly THREE shrimp in it!!!Compentaries are unnecessary.

We were with my husband on 30.09.23 in this "beautiful" cafe.
We ordered food that we had been waiting for for a long time and as an adjabsandal snack. Exactly 10 minutes after eating 2 forks of the above snack, I felt bad already there. Even before we finished eating, we left and an hour later the spouse was covered.
And the departure from Abkhazia was planned on 01.09, of course it was postponed.
As a result: a sleepless night with a temperature and other components, a spoiled vacation, an expensive restaurant with terrible food.
I strongly advise you not to visit this institution!

So-so. We came, the waiter came up and started so that we would hurry up with the choice, if we delay, we will wait at least half an hour. We immediately chose trout in foil and khachapuri (boat), chacha and tea. We waited for about 30 minutes. Khachapuri dough is absolutely not salty and not baked, trout without salt at all, vegetables are crispy, not cooked. Chacha and tea are normal.
The bill included a service fee (tip) 10% of the order amount, I think this is not done! Based on my order, I do not recommend it.

One of the best cafes in Abkhazia! We highly recommend it. We ate here several times during the vacation, we didn't get poisoned, although we tried different dishes, each time it was insanely delicious. Pleasant atmosphere, honest and polite waitresses, beautiful service and low prices. The receipt for a dense top lunch for two is 1800-2tr. Try Caesar salad with chicken, Thai salad, Abkhazian meat, grilled vegetables, tiramisu, bolognese, but in general, all menu items are class 👌🏻

I don't recommend this place. We came to have dinner. We ordered pizza and lula kebab. The pizza turned out to have a long black hair inside, but the waitress did not even apologize, pulled it out and began to prove that it was not a hair, but a lint from clothes. But there should be no lint from clothes in the dish either!!!! She was very unhappy when they refused to redo it and exclude the position from the account.
The kebab is too dry.
The price tag is too high, the quality is so-so, the attitude towards visitors leaves much to be desired.
Customer orientation and quality of dishes are the key to success!

We were looking for a place to celebrate the day before departure for 2 families (7 people). On the 4th attempt, we found an empty place here and did not lose. It is an atypical place for Abkhazia. The interior is gloomy, but cozy. Delicious, but not cheap. As for me, going here every day for lunch after the beach is a bit expensive. But noting something a couple of times is quite acceptable. The food is all delicious. There are no complaints. The portions are decent. The menu is small, but you can pamper yourself with a variety just to go a couple of times on vacation. Definitely it's 5 points.

People give 5* to ordinary canteens, where it seems better to them, because it is cheaper and the food is familiar, and to restaurants 4-4.5*, because visitors are, let's say, more "friendly". I put the Family cafe 5*, because it is delicious, clean, and the service is at the level of good establishments in large cities of Russia. There is only one minus, you can pay by bank transfer only.

We visited Abkhazia, Gagra in 10 years. Gagra has changed a little, of course there is still a lot of work ...
We started looking for a cafe (so that it would be delicious and the music would not bother, because on the coast the music rumbles- honestly not ours- who knows how). We found the cafe "Femily" according to reviews. We sat in the evening with my husband over a bottle of wine. The service is normal. The food is excellent, it was brought quickly (Caesar, Abkhazian roast and Julienne were ordered). Everything is delicious. The music is not loud. The prices are normal, of course, depending on who. If you want to get to know the local cuisine, then you are clearly not here. This cafe is suitable for gatherings by the end of the vacation :) Since the menu is directly European. We walk here with the child during lunch. Very tasty pepperoni pizza, pasta, milkshakes, salads. Not to say that it is very expensive. The prices are the same as in family cafes in Moscow. More advantages: there is absolutely no smell of kitchen in the room; waiters are unobtrusive young people; they keep order, always clean the dishes on time and carefully wipe the table with special means after each visitor, even if people just sat and looked at the menu, then immediately left. Of the cons: there is no fragrant tea for a European cafe, the usual greenfield leaf brewed in a teapot is not solid like that :) I would like to see ginger, sea buckthorn, etc. on the menu.
