A cozy little cafe with a view of the sea. Friendly staff. Everything is delicious. You have to wait for duty, YES, but everything is fresh, from under the knife. There are always visitors, from the moment of opening (9.00) until closing. It is better to book a table in the evening (during the season). From the wishes : update the menu, there are dishes on the menu that are never available ... and these taped price tags look terrible, I urge the cafe owner not to stint but a new menu ☺️

This cafe is next to the Alamys hotel, the only cafe nearby and it is incredibly wonderful. The girls who work there are always very attentive and friendly. All their national dishes are just delicious. We tried everything. The average check is to eat and drink 1000 rubles. Soups from 250 rubles. The portions are large. Cheesecakes are just a cannon. The kebab is divine. Khachapuri, no dinner went without him))). Very tasty homemade lemonades. Well, the entourage adds a view of the sea. The staff is responsive, to the best of their workload. Everything is always fresh. For 2 years of living in this cafe, only positive emotions.

The food is delicious, the staff are all polite, not intrusive, clean and tidy. There is only one disadvantage: there is no toilet. Still, if you go to sit in a cafe, drink tea (or something stronger), sooner or later you will want to visit the restroom.

THE WORST "cafe" in Abkhazia
It's a very long wait. Soup, mashed potatoes and a cutlet were waiting for an hour..Khinkali is still +30min. although it was originally said to wait 20 minutes.
the room is open, stuffy, flies and smoke. we arrived home, everything stank of smoke,
the khinkali was digested, the positions on the menu were mixed
up, the visitors sit right there and smoke, the waitresses do not pay attention, giggle, communicate on their own topics..
the food is so-so, it does not pull at the indicated prices, and the prices there are too high, to put it mildly, you will also pay 10% for the service)))
I do not recommend it, especially with children

We have been choosing a vacation in Abkhazia for two years, we accidentally found this institution. This is the most delicious place in Abkhazia. We chose national dishes, the meat is very juicy and soft. Khachapuri just lick your fingers. I remove the asterisk for the service (not always friendly) and there is no sanitary zone.

I liked the restaurant, the dishes are all delicious and fresh. The girls are responsive and very pleasant. The waiting time is fast, if the barbecue is, as for me, I did not wait long. I liked the homemade wine very much. She was a regular guest. Next year I will definitely have lunch and dinner there as well.

I was surprised by this rating, we rested nearby, had to visit this cafe because of the proximity of the location, to go far to others along a dusty road or over rocks along the shore. The food in the cafe is very average, but expensive! The taste of the dishes depends on the mood of the cook, perhaps only the eggs and pasta in a decent performance. Even the same cocktails are different all the time, there is no recipe.

The food is very tasty, I liked the quality price the most, you can't do it with your own, but when you order a lot, you leave a good tip, then they close their eyes. This cafe is one of the best in the city, along with the Veranda cafe. We drove all over Abkhazia and ate a lot of places. Date rules, waitresses can forget something in the heat when there are a lot of people, but believe me it doesn't matter. The main thing is that the quality is excellent. I recommend, and at the same time, the Alamys hotel near where we rested. Wi-Fi in the Date is super👌😜

Expensive, not very tasty. 10% for the service is just a mockery. You can sit at the table right in front of the counter and the waitresses will chat at their table cornyly not paying attention to you. The average waiting time for the menu is 5 minutes. It is impossible to compare in the reviews, but if you look for sure you will find better and tastier places nearby.

We had a rest at the sea in Gudauta, in Abkhazia. We went to have dinner at the Date cafe. The kebab is tasteless, does not correspond to the proportions, the milk cocktail is whitewashed water, the rice porridge for breakfast turned out to be liquid and slightly warm, the pancakes with cottage cheese are very small and not tasty. Coffee and cocoa were brought cold and when asked to warm up, they refused. They charge 10 percent for the service. The price tag is very high for dishes of this quality. We will never go to this cafe again and I do not advise others. The best cafe in Gudauta is Sukhum. The price and dishes are at the highest level.
