Initially, I was walking by, saw the sign, studied the reviews, decided to go. It is located in the center, convenient to get to, the interior is cozy, bright, there is a second floor. You can order a sofa in advance for the company. The restaurant is small, but it is inviting. We ordered a hookah right away, did as we wanted, changed the coals, made sure that the client liked everything. The cuisine is diverse, there are pizzas and pastas, salads, you can satisfy any requests. The portion is large, the meat was not dry, cooked perfectly. The waiters are attentive, serve competently, unobtrusively, but also do not leave to their own devices. We liked the service, the food, the interior. We will come again.

I invited my relatives, who had come from England for a short time, to lunch. I don't think I've ever felt such shame. The salad with goat cheese turned out to be actually with fetaxa, but they did not spare vinegar there: it was impossible to eat. The shrimp salad looked like a sheaf of greens, in which, after long attempts, 4 tiny shrimp were found. And with the hot one, the story was, in general, something with something. They asked us to serve 3 dishes at the same time, we were warned that the black mantas would cook for 40 minutes, and as a result they served everything at the same time, but after an hour everything was cold. I'm not talking about small shoals like they took something to warm up and didn't bring it (they just forgot), they took the kettle to add boiling water and it also sank into obscurity.... But the cherry on the cake was that neither the receptionist nor the waiter, none of them tried to somehow smooth out the spoiled impression. I paid the bill and told myself that I would never set foot there again.

I was in Almaty for the first time . I really liked the Date. Responsive workers , good location, installation at the entrance shows what the land of Kazakhstan is rich in. Well done, the owners do not spare time and money for the recognition of their Date. Illuminated at night .

Great place, very tasty cuisine, lagmans are wonderful
The hood works perfectly, there is no smoke in the room (does not interfere with family rest)
The waiters are attentive, bring everything in order (Salads, tea, main course, dessert)
Hookahs are good, the guys score perfectly to their taste 👍

"Date" crushes everyone with its colorful taste scales, high service and price-quality ratio. It's probably the best place in the city. There is a special conversation about the size of the dishes. I was forced to take lagman with me as a "doggie bag". So, I ate it at home for four whole days afterwards - the portion was so large! It had to be divided into four parts to fit into the microwave!!! If you have unexpected guests, take them to the "Date". You will not lose!

I'll start my review with the kitchen :)
I was at this place yesterday, I ordered arugula salad with mazzarella. And about happiness!
The waiter brought a salad consisting of greens (arugula) and honest 5 pieces of mazzarella.
Everything would be fine, but he could have asked or advised that this salad should not be taken as a main course (there were plans for a light salad in the evening).
But that's nothing!
I was surprised by the tea)
Having ordered a pot of black tea, which by the way was hot, we waited for an hour, but alas it never acquired any color :) generally..
Which led to the conclusion that the tea was not brewed for the first time.
(Whatever the reason is) you can't do that :(
Today I gave this place another chance by ordering lagman through the delivery service :)
If it had 40 grams of meat in it, it's very good ...)
