The funicular can be considered as a transport to the observation deck, and not as an independent entertainment. The purchase of tickets is poorly organized, the pleasure of a beautiful view through the observation windows is not received, since especially smart passengers stand next to them, instead of taking their seat, thereby interfering with other people.

The funicular is a small but very cozy trailer that moves smoothly and without jolts up the slope. The trip to the observation deck takes only a few minutes, and this time flies by unnoticed thanks to the beautiful views outside the window.
The fare on the funicular is only 1 manat, which makes it affordable for every tourist.

It seems cool. But in fact, it's a 3-4-minute climb. In the office. Part of the way is in the tunnel. At the top you will find a viewing platform with a panoramic view of the city.
By the way, the funicular does not operate every 10 minutes, as stated on the website. We arrived at 10:20 (opening at 10) and the tourists were standing on the stairs and waiting. When enough people had gathered, we were let in.

The cost of a funicular ride is 1 manat, and the journey time takes about three minutes.
Despite the queue, we managed to get on the next flight.
I recommend not sitting in the carriage, but standing on the platform at the very bottom of it to enjoy the best view.
Interestingly, the slope of the descent is variable (although more often it is made permanent for a funicular). Because of this, the shape of the carriage does not fully compensate for the slope on the entire section of the track.
A pleasant park and observation decks await you upstairs, offering stunning views of the Flame Towers and Baku.

If you are in Baku, you definitely need to take a ride. The funicular was actually rebuilt in 2012. The fare is one manat. This is a one-person one-way trip. It is better to pay in cash. It connects Bahram-Gur station with the Alley of Martyrs. Monday is a day off. I work until 20:00. Fast, convenient and cheap. No types of travel documents are valid.

It was hot and there were a lot of people. I walked, walked for 10-15 minutes, and after 5 minutes the others arrived. There is a waiting room with air conditioning and all amenities upstairs, but not downstairs. The observation deck should be searched, there are no signs. And so a beautiful view of Baku, everything is at a glance, I did not walk up in vain.
