I liked it, the children managed to get involved, there is interactivity -
this is the most important thing in a modern museum. For those who are afraid of heights, it will be uncomfortable inside)))
Overall, it's cool, the idea is cool with different energies per floor. But the lower you go, the less interesting it becomes. Strange pricing - 1,500 tenge for an entrance ticket, and 2500 tenge for kids to play toy robots?!
It is mandatory to visit when traveling to Astana. A wonderful, modern museum, where all kinds of energy are clearly shown. On planet earth.
Take your time, go, especially with the children.
Many things are considered a discovery even for an educated, comprehensively developed person.
It's stuffy, boring, and half of the exhibits don't work (or they work on certain days, although I doubt it). The heat is unbearable, none from the air conditioner. You can't touch it, you can't enter. It's a mess. We went down once, and the coals burned quickly, because it was absolutely uninteresting and there was nothing to breathe. Never set foot there again. I will not recommend it, it is not worth the money and time spent.
The only thing I liked was the type of air tube....They laughed and that's it
The exhibition complex is impressive.
A huge glass ball surrounded by pavilions. Inside is the Museum of Future Energy on 8 floors.
He talks about "green" types of energy. But judging by the number of light installations, he uses a different kind of energy, more traditional. There is a separate exposition on each floor, a beautiful terrace. I was impressed (in a sarcastic tone) by the exposition about space exploration. America and Baikonur are all that is mentioned about it. Russia was probably passing by at that time.
That's the kind of cooperation.
In general, it is a very interesting place, the idea is good. The only thing that failed, as usual, was the implementation. At the time of the visit, many exhibits were either not working or were closed. It's very hot on the upper floors! The planetarium is very interesting, but there is only one sofa and very small, and there are quite a lot of visitors. Well, at the end, the stairs from the 2nd floor to the first floor are actually 🤣
First of all, it's beautiful. It was in the evening, when the sun set, and the museum itself and the buildings around it were illuminated. In my opinion, the panorama of evening Astana opening from the museum looks much better than the daytime one. There is something to see both in the "quick run" and in the detailed inspection. Both adults and, especially, children will like it. There is a lot of interactivity.
The museum is made in a very unusual format. It's beautiful, spectacular. I highly recommend going with children over 8-9 years old - they will already be able to understand and appreciate.
We were an adult company - the visit went "with a bang".
There's nothing to do there the second time))), but I'm sure you'll like the first one very much.
It's an interesting exposition, it's interesting to go and see. The photos are good. Very interesting architecture, as if we had entered the world of the future. It is informative for children.
The museum of the cohort is impossible not to visit (if fate has brought it to Astana). An hour and a half or two will fly by unnoticed, although if thoroughly, then half a day will not be enough. And to broaden one's horizons, and to saturate the body with adrenaline (the glass floor on the upper level is almost like in Dubai skyscrapers).
Although something puzzled me. A huge stand dedicated to the ISS. Beginning: NASA began building the ISS on Reagan's orders... that's it, they sailed. Why was the ISS named, I ask. It was necessary for the ACS, the American space... Actually, two countries agreed to create it (guess which one besides the United States). Hint: the name of this station was coined by Viktor Chernomyrdin and Albert Gore, and only later other countries joined the project…
And the museum is generally decent. Created with love and imagination, there are many cool shows for children: "flying matter" is worth it. Only it is better to come to it at least a little well-read, intellectually prepared.
A very fascinating and interesting museum complex with a large number of interactive activities will not leave indifferent either children or adults. In sunny weather, it gets stuffy on the top floor, but the fear of heights when walking on the glass floor makes you forget about it!
It's great that recreation areas are organized on each floor.
We liked everything with the child, it's a pity that not all the stands worked. You can have a snack in a small cafe. The wind and water energy floor is top!
A very interesting place, the glass moe on the 8th floor is fascinating, I liked everything, all floors are interesting, children should especially be happy, but adults also have something to see.
We weren't in the balloon itself, it was Monday and it wasn't working. We were on the territory. It is very hot, there is almost no shade. There are climbing walls in the children's town, I liked the gate with a fountain, you can get wet in hot weather. Walk carefully, the tiles are broken and all wobbly.Nearby there is a large Mega supermarket, which has a food court and is full of brands that have left Russia - this is who is interested in shopping. By the way, WiFi is not connected in this supermarket with a Russian SIM card, only if you buy a local one.
This is the coolest place we've been to in Astana! There are so many interesting things, it is clear that a lot of work has been invested in the design and construction. All floors were filled with interesting exhibits. You can come to Astana for this place. He was also interested in being with the child. I definitely recommend this place to visit!
Thanks to everyone who participated in the design and construction of such a complex.
A wonderful museum. An interesting concept
But, something didn't work and it saddened me.
However, the wind energy floor brightened up our visit.
We had a very cool walk
A great museum for children. It is definitely worth visiting with children. The entrance is not expensive. We had a great time. Cons - only 1 elevator worked, but it was the fault of the people themselves who crammed into the elevators and from overload, they got stuck. Not everything worked and it's frustrating.
The museum impressed with its scale. 8 floors. Elevators are like in movies about the future. It takes at least half a day to see everything calmly. Very interesting. Some of the equipment does not work, but there is something to see, touch, and experience.
A miracle of engineering and a good museum.
It's a pity that some of the exhibits are no longer working :(
It is an excellent and useful pastime for children, but it will also be interesting for adults.
They are rude at the entrance, you show the student ID, they stare at it, they reject it with the words "that's it, goodbye." What kind of hospitality is this?
Since 2017, there has been no repair or maintenance of the exhibits. Everything is in a sad state. 80% of the exhibits just stand there and don't work, you press a button... and nothing happens, and if it does, it's in a very battered state. It looks like they're trying to squeeze the last of the money out of this place.
It's a pity, the potential is huge. You can get a lot of useful, practical knowledge about physics.
There are not even employees who can advise on the exhibitions. But a photographer is running around, ready to take pictures of you, ostensibly for the sake of the "archive of the exhibition", in fact, to show an imitation of violent activity.
A miracle of architectural thought, Astana is in the palm of your hand, it is a museum of nature, which shows, as in fixies, the power of wind, water, sun, wind, etc. I recommend everyone to visit it for the sake of enlightenment. In rubles, a ticket for two is around 800 rubles.
The building is impressive! The exposition is interesting. It is generally interesting to come with children - there is something to have fun with and get knowledge. But even milking an adult can open up something new.
The only downside is the intrusive photographers upstairs and the photo sellers downstairs. If you do not need a "souvenir" in the form of a photo with the inscription "Nur Alem" - drive away the photographers, otherwise they will then very obsessively offer photos below.
Space architecture, stunning scale, visual information about the energy of the future. It is pleasant to take care of tourists, there is a place to sit down, relax and admire the capital from the height of a grandiose glass building in the form of a ball.
Well, the class was invested, the idea was great, the European designers and others were great at the start. And then.... it would be necessary to maintain the economy normally, raise management to a height, and develop primary ideas and multiply, love what God has sent😊
It's more interesting outside than inside. A bunch of monitors, at first glance everything is modern. But some expositions are closed/not working, in the evening it was very dark in some places, and very stuffy. I would like more interactive exhibits so that one or another way of energy is not just written in text, but also to try to feel it live
It looks like a Death Star from Star Wars from the outside. There are many interesting and entertaining expositions about different types of energy inside. You can feel the power of the wind for yourself. You can chat with the robot guide. I recommend tourists to definitely visit.
It is incredibly interesting and informative. Cheap entrance ticket (and even cheaper for students and some categories), lots of impressions and beautiful photo cards.
An incredibly fascinating place. The author of the project "Museum of Future Energy" was the outstanding architect Albert Speer Jr. According to his plan, the Nur Alem sphere was conceived as a symbol of the "last drop of oil", before the beginning of the era of green technologies. There are eight floors, each of which is dedicated to a specific type of energy. Water energy, kinetic energy, biomass energy, wind, sun, space... On each floor there are interactive operating models that clearly reflect the essence of physical phenomena. I definitely recommend you to visit.
The idea of the museum itself is, of course, interesting, but here's the execution... There could be a beautiful view of the city if the windows were cleaner and did not leak. Because of the leaking glass, the floor tiles "swell" and it's scary to walk, in places there are rags on the floor.
The cafe is only on the 4th floor, toilets are on each, but not all work. There is a cloakroom on the 1st floor. In addition to the stairs, there are 4 elevators.
There are a lot of interactive objects, but a lot of them don't work (you press the buttons, but nothing happens).
On the floor of cosmic energy in the hall, watching a movie on the ceiling (as in planetariums) is inconvenient: the text on the side turns out
I really liked the floor on the floor with biomass - nuts, seeds, shells under the glasses
It looks cool from the outside, and it's not bad inside either.
An interesting division by floors (each floor is a separate type of energy)
Some expositions did not work - this is a minus
An excellent modern museum for family entertainment.
We were with the whole family on New Year's holidays. I managed to get on the tour. An indescribable feeling. Especially on the top floor, which offers a view of the entire neighborhood.
There is a lot of interesting information and interactive exhibits. The children especially liked the water exhibit. They made dams and blocked the water flows. Full of fun
I read in the reviews that a lot of things don't work. Maybe I didn't look there, but everything worked for me.
It's a cool museum. Great vacation.
I highly recommend it. 5+
For tourists: the museum is obligatory for everyone to visit, I can draw an analogy with the Copernicus Museum in Warsaw, but Nur Alem will be many times larger and more extensive captures each of the topics, thematic shows are wow, but it's worth coming in advance, the only thing I can note is an inconvenient elevator system that you have to call by the floor number outside and run to the one that will arrive the fastest.
I attach a photo, it's only one, it's a pity you can't attach a video
P.S. The view from the top is worth the money given for 10/10
Lots of impressions. I want to go back and go through all the floors. The panoramic view of the city of Astana is amazing. I was struck by the exposition of studying the wind, it is fascinating. You can watch endlessly. I recommend.
I really liked it!!! A really cool idea!! I will definitely come back to review and read everything again. It was disappointing that not all interactivity was working, and some halls were also closed. Most likely, you need to book a tour to make it even more interesting. It is possible to include everything for the tour. It should also be borne in mind that there are practically no drinking establishments inside, only a small point with coffee. Therefore, it is better to take everything with you. But in principle, the place is very cool anyway, I recommend you to visit! I almost forgot. Be sure to call in advance and find out the working hours. I have repeatedly been convinced that in Astana, in many institutions, the work schedule indicated on the website may in reality be very different, the institution may be closed or have some restrictions on working hours at the moment.
It's just a top. Be sure to visit if you are in Astana. It's really cool. It is possible with children, it will be very interesting for children too. The cafe is not the most interesting, it would be possible to have a more diverse menu and a better quality of dishes. But in general, it's good, there is something to eat.
A very modern museum in a beautiful building. There are many exhibits that you can touch with your hands (interactive). A good idea with bridges with a transparent floor. 👍
I recommend it! You will spend a long time, have fun, and learn a lot of new things.
5 stars for security 🤍we shot a video for a blog , forgot the extension cord for the equipment , the security helped , although the administrator refused to help . Thanks to the security
A great museum. We spent the whole day there. There are many interesting exhibits for both children and adults. The most interesting sections are about Astana of the future, about the energy of the sun, water, and wind.
Each floor there is dedicated to a different kind of energy!!
Come, I guarantee it will be interesting!
Very stylish and interesting!
I was practically alone on a working day, installations, sofas, rollers -everything for convenience, comfortable temperature, amazing views of the city
A very interesting and unusual museum, starting with the appearance, or rather the shape, ending with the contents inside the museum. I was stuck there for several hours. I was impressed by the transparent elevators and the fact that you can observe them as if from the inside. I walked on the transparent floor, talked to the robot, learned a lot about Kazakhstan and the world in general. A beautiful observation deck on the top floor and an impressive layout of Astana. It's a great place, I recommend it!
The original structure. A ball with a diameter of 80 meters. There are eight floors inside about energy and about Kazakhstan. There is a lot of interactivity. Probably the most grateful audience here are children, because such a presentation should interest them. Adults are also interested. One transparent bridge on the top floor above the abyss is worth it!
In summer, it is not an option to watch with children, due to the large windows it is very stuffy, and water can only be bought in the middle of the descent or ascent. It is necessary to think over the devices on the floors and in the hall
An incomparable museum, a lot of interesting and informative things. Inside, the museum was somehow designed by a robot. And from the outside, gorgeous architecture, in other things, like the whole city
