A great interactive museum. With a gorgeous view. I didn't spare the money for the entrance ticket. It was free for the opening. I spent at least half an hour on the observation deck. Plus it is convenient to start further to Istiklal Street
The terrace with the restaurant is closed for renovation... It's a shame, for 650 liras to look at the panorama of the city through the windows... If you have a Turkish ID, you can apply for a sightseeing card and then admission is free
Dreams come true, and it happened to me. A long-awaited trip to Istanbul. After getting to the hotel from the plane, we immediately went for a walk around the night city. And what a splendor to see the glowing tower. This beauty cannot be conveyed, it must be seen
A must-visit in Istanbul. The observation deck offers extraordinary 360-degree views of the city. An elevator takes you to the top. We go down on foot along a narrow spiral staircase that winds along a narrow stone corridor. Going down under your own power, you can quite feel the height of this structure)
It's a good view, but there are high-rise buildings nearby from which you can take a look at the Bosphorus and take super photos for a much cheaper payment
Galata Tower is visible from almost every hill in Istanbul. Karakoy's birdhouses surround it, making it look like a medieval relic in a modern city. I didn't see any special queues here in May 2023. The ticket costs 1500-2000 rubles. There is an observation room upstairs. Excursions are also held. A lover of photography can find truly impressive camera angles that will not leave anyone indifferent.
The place is beautiful, there is an observation deck and various exhibits, but we were unlucky with the audio guide (it just wasn't there). It is better to go in the morning, because in the afternoon there are solid queues and a lot of people in the tower itself. In addition, you can have a delicious meal nearby!
The view of the tower is amazing. They didn't go upstairs. Prices for a visit 5000₽
We had fun sitting in a cafe near the tower with a cup of coffee and a piece of the famous cheesecake
The queue is not particularly large, probably due to the price of 3000 per nose, but this is one of the main attractions. It looks like a bomb, but my hotel is no worse
Again at the restoration, again queues... Ticket prices are very high now!!! And so everything is the same as it was 15 years ago, everything is bubbling and swirling, a fun life
One of the main attractions of the city, but as of November 2023, the open observation deck is closed for reconstruction. Therefore, looking at it from below and taking a few photos from the street, you will not lose anything
It's a very beautiful place. I liked it, but climbing to the tower from the strait side is quite a difficult task, you will have to sweat).

We managed to climb for free, and since the entrance is 30€, unfortunately all the attractions are so expensive. Is it worth it, for free-yes. For a fee , I doubt it. Inside there is a store and a couple of ancient culture exhibits . There is a view of the city above.
An insanely beautiful place with an amazing, incredible history 😍 and how great it is that such significant places are preserved as much as possible 🤍😍
One of the sights of Istanbul! A place of pilgrimage for young people! Beautiful lighting in the evening. From the tower itself there is a beautiful view of the city and the strait!
An interesting place, but NOT for 350 lire))
The price was only raised by pasting on the ticket the old price of 175 lire by 350 lire.
They charge tourists in full) In fact, you take the elevator to the observation deck, take a picture around the tower in a crowd of people, on a narrow path and that's it... you go down on your own...
there is no excursion, nothing super interesting... if you take away the time to try to take pictures without people... It will take 10-15 minutes maximum to stay in the tower all the time. And this is for 350 lire - I do not recommend it! From many free mosques, the view is better...
A place that always has long queues of people wanting to go up. The ticket price is rather big. The view from above is beautiful , in addition , there is something to see on the floors themselves inside the tower
4- because restoration is underway (April'24), so as a photo object it is complete nonsense. That's when the grid is removed from the facade and the scaffolding is removed, then there will be a top ☝️
It's a great place, it's worth trying dessert with San Sebastian coffee and Turkish coffee and their Turkish breakfasts in the cafe! The tower itself is very beautiful!
It's worth getting up once. It is better to come to the opening, then there is no queue. During the day, just wait a couple of hours. It seems that since September 2023, the price has been raised 3 times to 650 liras. Pleasure has become quite controversial.
The tower itself was not visited, there are long queues at the ticket office and at the entrance. But we admired the tower and the surroundings, many beautiful streets and interesting shops.
Excellent views of Istanbul, the tower is visible from almost anywhere in the city. Built by the Genoese five centuries ago, it is a symbol of Istanbul.
Panoramic views of the city, cool photos and a cooling breeze in the hot season!
You are lifted by an elevator to the penultimate floor, and descend independently by an interesting staircase.
The cost is 650 lire for August.
Of the cons:queues.
Life hack: there is a ticket office inside the tower, a ticket for the same price.
