A great interactive museum. With a gorgeous view. I didn't spare the money for the entrance ticket. It was free for the opening. I spent at least half an hour on the observation deck. Plus it is convenient to start further to Istiklal Street

Galata Tower is visible from almost every hill in Istanbul. Karakoy's birdhouses surround it, making it look like a medieval relic in a modern city. I didn't see any special queues here in May 2023. The ticket costs 1500-2000 rubles. There is an observation room upstairs. Excursions are also held. A lover of photography can find truly impressive camera angles that will not leave anyone indifferent.

The place is beautiful, there is an observation deck and various exhibits, but we were unlucky with the audio guide (it just wasn't there). It is better to go in the morning, because in the afternoon there are solid queues and a lot of people in the tower itself. In addition, you can have a delicious meal nearby!

The price was only raised by pasting on the ticket the old price of 175 lire by 350 lire.
They charge tourists in full) In fact, you take the elevator to the observation deck, take a picture around the tower in a crowd of people, on a narrow path and that's it... you go down on your own...
there is no excursion, nothing super interesting... if you take away the time to try to take pictures without people... It will take 10-15 minutes maximum to stay in the tower all the time. And this is for 350 lire - I do not recommend it! From many free mosques, the view is better...
