I have never been to Dubai airport and considered it one of the best in the world, but for the first time I found myself there in Terminal 2, this is some kind of transfer point, packed with transit passengers. Many stay there for hours. It is very crowded, not convenient and not comfortable.

The terminal is decent enough, of course it is not the 2nd, the terminal itself is a little more modest, the number of inspection rooms, which affects the queues. Duty free is available, but their quality lags behind the main terminals and the number and quality of food outlets leaves much to be desired.

This gate is designed for third world countries, there are a lot of seats, but the recumbents are fenced and they cannot be used. There are a couple of cafes, that's all. We stayed here for 3 hours.

There is a bus between the terminals, you will die before you get there, if the connection is via Dubai, I personally did not like it. There are a lot of people. There is a smoking room . The trip was a business trip, if it's a vacation, then probably everything will be through a different prism.
