A small, concise and pretty monument on the alley. There are trees and benches with funny umbrellas all around. Where the geographical center of Europe is located depends on the calculations of which geographies to include in Europe. So, the French calculated that he was in Lithuania, 25 km from Vilnius, where the Lithuanians installed a stele. Belarusian and Russian scientists have calculated that the center of Europe is located 48 km southwest of Polotsk, near Lake Sho (055+10'55" s.w. 28+15z0"w.d.). But the monument was erected in Polotsk and other coordinates are indicated. Unclear... It's not clear, but it's beautiful.

A great place, a very beautiful location, and most importantly, this is the only one in all of Europe and we have it! It is worth a visit, there are many other places nearby, but that's another matter) there is a coordinate on the monument and it is made in the form of a compass... I liked...

Another small attraction of Polotsk is on Francisco Skaryna Street. However, there is a stand nearby that says that this is not exactly the center of Europe.)
