The airport is small and cozy. Good, polite people work. It's always very clean and tidy (the floors are sparkling). From the airport, you can quickly get to the center not only by taxi, but also by bus, which stops right at the entrance and takes you towards the train station. Everything is organized for a small town. I also like the airport because there are almost never queues. Everything is fast, no one is crowding anywhere, which is especially convenient with small children. But in any case, the main thing is a team that does its job perfectly. The created comfort and friendly attitude towards passengers . Thank you.

It's a great airport. The service at all stages is excellent: fast, professional, polite. There is a good buffet in the waiting area. A clean toilet. You can buy a ticket on the spot. There is an A1 communication salon: upon arrival, you can purchase a Belarusian SIM card with the Internet. ATM where you can withdraw money from the Mir card. The bus will take you to the railway and bus station! A very cozy airport, we are glad that it is operating again!

It's not a bad airport for a small city. Even large-scale, with a pretty Soviet style. Clean, the staff is polite.
There is a lack of more powerful heating in the premises, a souvenir shop and an assortment of food in the cafe in the boarding gate area. There are also only two tired restrooms in the boarding gate area, which are designed for one visitor each.

I visited Gomel airport 2 times.
Departure October 2024 and arrival November 2024
The airport is located outside the city. There is parking in front of the airport, parking is always available).
The airport has remained as a legacy from Soviet times (thanks to the union). The decoration room has been renovated.
They have started replacing windows, and they may need to be repaired if necessary.
The registration process is fast, all the staff are friendly and helpful. They do their job well.

There are 2 toilets
one male and one female- that's why there's a queue.
There is a food outlet in the waiting room.
You can have a snack, you can buy tea, coffee and something stronger. There are 3-4 tables where you can sit down.
There is no duty free :) unfortunately
It is very good that the Airport is functioning and there are flights.
I really want to see an increase in the number of flights from Gomel airport

A small, decent enough airport, everything is intuitive. The staff is polite. All procedures are very fast. There are buffet cafes, the prices there are very reasonable, affordable, no more expensive than in simple shops. The assortment there is sufficient for departures, you can have a snack and a drink. There are many parking lots for cars with sufficient seats based on the number of flights. But they are not guarded! In my opinion, it would not hurt to make repairs and add novelty to the departure and arrival halls. I think this will happen if the number of flights increases!

A small, but clean, cozy airport. Polite staff, there is everything you need to wait for your flight. There are few flights, so there are no crowds here, luggage is unloaded and issued quickly, everything is neat and polite. I was surprised that it turned out to be unrealistic to order a Yandex taxi - there were simply no cars nearby - those who apparently ordered in advance or managed to order earlier were lucky. There are private taxis, but they do not give receipts, and they are mandatory for business travelers. So think in advance how you will get to the city.

It's a very strong word - an international airport, there are some standards. Planes don't fly in Belarus, so it's international. There are three flights, not every day. Parking at the airport is conditionally free, there are two hours, after the evacuation, they did not check. Despite the fact that there are only three flights, the check-in is a mess. I've never been through a security zone like this, that's what international level means. An employee on an X-ray television introscope (I specifically looked at what this stuff is called) I searched so hard for the keys to my apartment that I just emptied all my things out of my backpack. And in general, the staff is kind of sullen, not kind. Well, here it is the departure zone. Don't ask about Duty Free, there's not even a toilet, get ready in advance, no cafe, no buffet, not even vending machines, just sit and wait if there's enough space. They called the wrong place an international airport. And yes, fly BelAvia planes, good company.

I'll give you a four, because it's passable for an ordinary provincial airport. They get out on friendly staff. And so of course everything is miserable. Check-in separately, baggage check-in separately. There is only one toilet in the departure hall. Literally. 1 point each.
But there is a mini-buffet in which they pour. There is a lot of choice.
You can't buy anywhere in any way and for no money. Everyone has fallen into geyropa and is fighting against the rights of smokers.
Parking is free, up to 2 hours.
In general, the staff respect and the airport needs to be modernized.

It's a terrible place.
There are no waiting areas, it is insanely cold, there are only 2 reception desks, everything is old and has been working for a long time. The staff feels like it's their first time here. After passing through the baggage and carry-on baggage screening area, you enter the USSR. There's just no infrastructure, there's only one toilet, the whole place is smoky, and the buffet works according to the principle of the "scoop". People were herded into a pen, the place is limited, it stinks of cigarettes, the trash can caught fire, smoke and not a single cleaner (((( the booths of the border control zone are still wooden (the same ones that were in the 80s

One plane has arrived, people from the Republic of Belarus are waiting in line for sick hours to pass the border control, some could not stand it and fainted. I got the impression that people go to make photocopies of passports, citizens are asked the purpose of the visit, I mean, I am a citizen of the Republic of Belarus, what other purpose can I have......
But these are still flowers....
Customs control is one hour and forty minutes.....
5 employees work, one I check everyone in the hallway, I'm very indignant, but no one cares at all. People flew for 7 hours, tired, and also had to spend about 3 hours at the airport because of the bureaucracy. Well, how!!! And if there is a transfer? They don't care, we personally lost time and money to replace the transfer. It's just a terrible organization of work, and in general, everyone pretends to be working, the result is 0(
The national airport is in Minsk, the same services are working, but everything is fast, the border guards are doing well, they let their citizens through quickly, without stupid questions. And at Gomel airport, it was as if we were in another country! I just got a terrible impression about the rest in general.

I love small airports with infrequent flights. For employees, passengers are always like dear long-awaited guests) Everyone is polite and friendly. Prices in cafes are like in shops. So buying water does not cause irritation, which means that you have to give a million dollars for the basic need. The coffee is delicious. Gingerbread is cute. Everything is clean. It is probably 3 km away from Gomel. A city bus arrives for the flight. Parking is free right in front of the airport building.

Returning to his native country from vacation at the Gomel airport was turned into a demonstrative humiliation and mockery of his fellow citizens. When returning by plane, people go to a very small room where they are kept for another 1.5 hours. With bags, in clothes, with children in their arms. There are about 30 chairs for 200 people, the rest should be standing.
When the flight arrives and people enter the room, we see an absolutely empty hall, with empty booths of the pass windows, the light is not on, and then we observe a picture of how the border guard officers sooo slowly occupy their booths, talk about something with smiles, move the curtains back and forth. The whole process takes about 7-10 minutes, this is already taking into account the fact that the boarding time of the flight is known in advance. Even local taxi drivers are already standing ready under the exits, and these, upon arrival of the plane, only move to their workplaces, where they are supposed to be.
Having occupied their cubicles, the service employees put their workplace in order for an additional 5 minutes, move the curtains again and pretend to be busy, as well as the complexity of this process.
The first window opens first, and after 3 minutes the other two open. Employees with stony faces, without hello and goodbye, begin to check the passport. The first people who enter are checked especially carefully, for about 7 minutes (apparently so that even the first one is not very fast and comfortable), then others are checked, already for 4-5 minutes. A full spector of checks is strictly according to protocol, but they do not care at all that when there are 200 people in the hall for 3 windows, this process takes more than an hour. *Either speed up your employees or change the protocol.
No one controls the queue, people are pushing and climbing through one window or another, there are no fences or any organization of this process. As a result, 200 people are forced to stand in a cramped, unventilated room in outerwear for an hour and a half. And this is all after a 5-hour flight, lifting at 4 a.m., actually on my feet for a day, and these are not conscripts who joined the outfit, but ordinary civilians: mothers with children, pensioners, etc. But the border guards apparently got so into the drill that they forgot that they were not in their barracks in front of conscripts, but in front of civilians.
Even colonels and generals, commanders of the NWOC and other districts treat their subordinates humanely, even if they are ordinary privates or sergeants. At the Gomel airport, the border guards have their own atmosphere, their own fellow citizens are treated like garbage, deliberately delaying the process of passing checks and poorly organizing this process itself. It is not clear why this is done, from banal envy or sloppiness, I have not yet seen border service employees worse than Gomel airport.

Everyone is good-natured and even caring. They will tell you everything, help you, and advise you. Everything is very sincere and calm.
The staff from the guard on the frame and along the entire route, all friendly and smiling.
There is a Wi-Fi connection. A bus stops near the airport at a certain time according to the schedule, which goes to the bus station-conveniently.

The very fact of having an airport in Gomel is fascinating. The airport is small, but everything you need is present. You can arrive an hour before departure quietly, there are no queues, there are few people. There is a small buffet at the airport, where you can drink tea, coffee, buy water for the road and have a snack. All the staff are very polite, both during check-in and during the inspection. The building itself is very old, and the waiting room is cool in winter. The renovation is nostalgic-Soviet, but everything is neat and clean. I think that it is better for Gomel and it is not necessary

The only advantage of the airport is that it is small, it passes quickly, the staff seems to be normal. That's all. There are no ramps, as for people with heavy suitcases and a stroller, if there is a child, it is not clear how to climb a rather large staircase. In the waiting room, there is one toilet for men and one for women, naturally a kilometer-long queue is formed. Repairs are required. It is a very small airport, but this is more of a plus than a minus. It is not necessary to arrive many hours in advance for registration. I flew to Moscow and the check-in was very fast. There is absolutely no point in arriving in a few hours. You really need to arrive there half an hour before the end of registration and you will have time to do everything. Also, for the first time in my life, I met kind border guards, women in uniform are very well-mannered, pleasant. The impressions are only positive. The flight waiting area itself, of course, needs to be repaired, the toilets consist of one room for women and one for men, sometimes there may be a queue, it was quite cool in the waiting room. Belarusian Duty free made me smile)))) you can drink tea at a local cafe before the flight, take alcohol so as not to freeze in the winter season and have a snack, which is actually what a lot of people did. And it's all at regular prices like in stores! P.S. Do not take coffee from the vending machine in the cafe, terrible grain, threw the whole glass of cappuccino in the trash.
Thank you for opening the direction to Gomel again, the planes are wonderful! Now you can conveniently, quickly and economically get to your relatives. An hour into the flight, you will be treated to marshmallows and drinks. Only pleasant impressions!

The best airport, one entrance, one exit, no crowds, no fuss, what else is needed, even when approaching the airport, for some reason, it feels like I've gone back in time 20 years ago). I set it to 3, and I will definitely fix it to 5 when they finally make normal exits and arrivals for suitcases / strollers at the pedestrian crossing, as well as at the entrance. It's a small thing, but how it hits the negativity and comfort.
I take off another star and put 2, for the last time I took my daughter to the toilet, there is no toilet paper or hand towels, everything is empty.

For a local airport, everything is basically not bad.This is Gomel, not Domodedovo.The airport is small, old, and we saved as much as we could.The departure/arrival area is small.Employees make sure that passengers do not take photos / videos on the territory.There is the simplest cafe .Don't count on a full lunch or dinner.There is no pharmacy at the airport.From entertainment-the views from the windows and the nerves of other passengers.All the "disadvantages" - let's call them that, more than pays for a huge plus - the airport is 10 minutes away from the city by car.It is better to think about tickets for flights to St. Petersburg and Moscow very early.
