Not fashioned hotel. Good to spend a night or two if no other options.

One of the advantages: It is perfectly located in the city center of Almaty. On the right is the 28 Panfilovtsev Park within walking distance, on the left there is a chic restaurant and lifts to Mount Koktyube. There is also a direct road to Medeo and Shymkent, even by bus or taxi in 30 minutes. The rooms look good, but they're tired. They gave me a gift for the New Year, it's nothing, but it's nice.
On the downside: Early check-in is 50% of the plus price. There is no Internet, from the word at all. The wifi is connected, but it is not. No matter how hard the workers tried, he's not in the room. The children were sitting in the hallway to somehow sit in their chats. There is a TV, but apparently also for decoration. No matter how hard workers tried to fix it, they couldn't. We had a room for four and we paid for four, but unfortunately there were only two bathrobes and towels. Breakfasts for a 4* hotel, as they position themselves, are bad, from the word disgusting. Apparently just for show, they are meager and monotonous and seem to have been stolen before us ...
Judge for yourself whether to go or not, but in my opinion it does not pull for 4 *. For this money, the Holiday inn will be a hundred times cooler.

Not a bad hotel, but not without drawbacks. Let's start with the advantages - location, clean linen, good Internet, breakfast is quite varied and delicious, attentive staff. The disadvantages would be some absurdity and pretentiousness, sometimes completely ridiculous. So in my room, the toilet is mounted on a pedestal and it is high enough that it would be inconvenient for me to sit on it, with a height of 183cm. The shower cabin was raised even higher)) Perhaps it was not possible to remove the communication to the floor, well, that's how it turned out. The handle of the sink faucet rested against the glass shelf of the mirror. It was not always possible to catch the optimal temperature, I sin against not the best shut-off valves. And finally, the heating/cooling system is working - I did not find a place to adjust it, as a result, I made noise for 2 nights of stay, not ice) Contradictory. I would probably go to the Holiday Inn Express for this price.

For real, 4 plus.
Good: friendly staff, good rooms. It can be seen that it is not the most recent renovation, but everything is neat and clean. Cleaned every day. Everything worked fine. The heater, aka the air conditioner worked well, can be adjusted. Airing is also fine. The windows overlooked the courtyard.
What to add/improve:
The heater worked well, but it was noisy. It should be turned off at night. But if you are very tired, you will not hear it.
Linen and towels smell like powder. We need to replace the powder.
Breakfasts are held in the same restaurant where hookah is smoked in the evenings, so you have breakfast in a dim light with the smell of hookahs. It might suit someone, I'm not a hookah lover, so I had a quick breakfast and left. The breakfast was hearty. There was enough for both early and late breakfast (I read a review earlier that there was not enough breakfast if you come late. It's not like that)

I liked the hotel in general. We were from March 11 to March 20 .
We lived in room 3002, a double bed stands near the window from which it blew strongly at night, the heating was in the form of an oil heater. The second single bed was right in front of the door. At night, neighbors could be heard coming out of the elevator, talking and slamming the door.
Towels and toiletries have been changed regularly all the time. Cleaning for 3. Drinking water was replenished every day (2 small bottles).
Breakfast was from 7 to 10, buffet, we were not hungry for every taste of food. The coffee was delicious Americano with milk. The staff is friendly and courteous.

A great hotel for a few days. The rooms are clean, in my opinion this is the main advantage, they try to keep them in good condition. Excellent location in the city center. Breakfast is not rich and passes, but you can find something to eat.

The staff is working great! Responds to all requests quickly and efficiently! Thank you, well done! The room was changed without any problems, they gave an extra blanket, brought everything they asked for.
There are minor complaints about the numbers themselves, but not significant ones. The best rooms are on the 5th floor, the lower the floor, the smaller the area and the worse the amenities (uncomfortable bathrooms). The bedding is clean, daily cleaning, drinking water and tea set are available. Bathrobe, slippers, toilet kits.
The breakfasts are good, porridge, omelette, pastries, vegetables, fruits, coffee machine. I won't say that there is a rich assortment, but everything is delicious and every day there are different dishes, you can have a pretty good breakfast!
In general, the assessment is positive, the price and quality are consistent!

I've been here. The hotel in the center is fine, there are no problems with cleaning, an elevator with a view, many rooms for different occasions. Breakfast is included in the buffet. The only thing is that if you wanted to eat at lunch, there is already smoke from the hookah. Since this is a public restaurant for all people. BUT I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO EVERYONE!!!♡♡♡

The hotel is modern, bright, and well located in a beautiful part of the city. Nearby there is everything you need- supermarkets, exchangers, pharmacies, cafes, restaurants, a chic park. Shady green streets that are pleasant to walk along. The hotel is small and cozy. Everything is clean and nice. The staff is friendly. The suite is very beautiful and comfortable. But if you want silence, it's better not to take a room with windows facing the street. There's the noise of cars. Breakfast at the hotel is normal, but every day is the same. It's not a problem for one or two days. In general, we were satisfied with our stay at this hotel.

The hotel is very pleasant, the staff is polite. Cleaned clean, towels, bed linen - white, ironed. The breakfasts are varied, delicious, a little weak coffee, I had to drink up to 3 cups to wake up. Good geographical location, near a pharmacy, shops, many cafes. The biggest disadvantage of the hotel is the strong audibility! I could hear the alarm clock ringing in the morning in the next room, conversations and all the content that was on TV.

I really liked the hotel itself and the room. It looks expensive and rich. Breakfast is included. Everything is basic. You can choose. In the evening, this area magically turns into a cozy hookah bar with games. A very good one.
Of the disadvantages, only the hot water is set up in the shower for a long time.
But I lowered the rating not for this, but for the fact that they counted an extra bar at the check-out. At the same time, when I said that it was taken and the prices did not develop the issue. They silently took the amount I had said.
Whether it's an accident or not, I don't see the point in digging. But keep in mind this point 🙃

A great cozy hotel in the city center. Everything is within walking distance. We stayed here when we came to ski. We lived for 2 weeks. The Shymkent ski slopes and Lesnaya Skazka are a 30-minute taxi ride from the hotel. The hotel is clearly in the middle) there are many delicious restaurants, a park, shops nearby. The hotel is clean, not intrusive staff. An excellent hard mattress (if this is important to someone), pleasant and white pastels, bathrobes and towels. They cleaned regularly, efficiently and quickly. Convenient secured Parking. Good wifi, warmth, mountain view (there was a 5th floor). The only thing that surprised me was the breakfasts. A meager assortment, and not at all tasty. Even the cheese was not tasty, although "it would seem..."

Well, how can I tell you))) we lived in a room more like a closet) everything is clean - there are no questions. But the size) it was the impression that two of us were put in a room for one, and on the eve of our check-in we came to our senses that the reservation was for 2 of them and urgently brought another bed 😀 I must say, by the way, comfortable- I slept well.
Breakfast takes place in a hookah bar - we, absolutely fresh in the morning, felt like we were there after a very fun party, in a daze of yesterday's clouds of smoke)
Ps the location of the plumbing is also funny: as if they forgot to plan and added details at the last moment) the height of the pedestal was also appreciated
In general, we remember our stay at this hotel, with a twinkle)

In general, the price/quality ratio is normal. The place is good, clean. Really by numbers, breakfast, wear and amenities - closer to 3*.
One of the disadvantages is that you cannot open the window for ventilation due to the clamps and noise (noise is if the room is facing the street). Considering that the air conditioning is turned off at night (it works in simple ventilation mode at night), it is most likely stuffy to sleep in the rooms in the heat.
And a very small remark for the administration: put silicone plugs on the corners of the coffee table in the hall. The sharp glass corners scratch nicely.

The room is clean and very small, but cozy. Decorated a la Provence. Absolutely conquered the pillows! I have not seen this either at the Hilton or at the Sheraton! Two ordinary ones and two huge ones. For me, pillows are important for normal sleep, so this hotel is the undisputed leader of my personal rating in terms of pillows))) The breakfasts are without frills, but there is enough of everything, it is fresh and tastes very good.

Positive:
A very beautiful hotel, lots of delicious food, polite staff, normal Wi-Fi, complete silence, perfectly clean, the room has a built-in heater in the window sill, + we had an oil heater.
Minuses:
The rooms are very small, right VERY small. We have 1 outlet in our room!!! That is, there was simply nowhere to turn on the bookcases and the kettle, because the outlet was in the corner, at the feet. But they gave me an extension cord when they asked! The refrigerator was full of some kind of fast food, they ate their own things

At the moment, probably the worst 4-star hotel I've been to and not the cheapest. I will also voice it on my channel separately. It's a very small room, a cramped bathroom, you can't turn around. The rooms need to be updated. The breakfasts are cold, except for porridge, there is a choice, but so-so. You should choose this hotel only because of its good location and that's it, but it's better to look for something more decent.

There is practically no Internet. It is slow, it is not possible to work.
The carpet in the room is very "tired". Strangely, the entire interior is maintained in good condition, and the carpet is like in a construction shed.
The central ventilation is very noisy, the temperature in the room is not regulated, you have to be content with the "average temperature in the hospital."
The plumbing is clean, but "killed". In principle, everything works, but the water drains badly, the overhead shower does not turn on, the shower doors move with difficulty. There are few outlets - either a table lamp or a phone charger. The breakfast is austere, but quite decent. You will not be able to have dinner at the hotel - there is a hookah bar in the restaurant.

The hotel is located in the old center, next to the park. There is a supermarket nearby. On a busy street, the taxi arrives quickly. These are probably all the advantages. The building looks like it's new, but it's already tired. The tile in the elevators is broken, the carpet in the corridor is worn out, the room is burned. The rooms are small, the toilet/shower room is funny. But everything is clean. There is water in the room, the bed is good, the linen is clean. The problem is with the supply of fresh air, the window cannot be opened with fixation

Cons: the renovation is a little tired, but the rooms themselves are clean and decent. There are few outlets in the room, so I recommend taking adapters with multiple connectors.

I have been with a colleague at the Grand Sapphire Hotel since November 8th. We were settled on the 5th floor, the rooms are opposite each other. The rooms are small, Wi-Fi does not work, you need to keep a shower in the bathroom, but in general it is clean. After the first night, a colleague told me that she saw an insect in the bathroom. When I came back after work, I saw it in my bathroom, too, and called the staff.while they were walking, he ran away. I woke up at night, wanted to go to the bathroom, and saw an insect already next to the bed and called the staff. As a result, I went down to the reception and they agreed to cancel my reservation because of this situation. They said that yes, insects appear. Apparently they crawled out of the ventilation, since the place of appearance is the same, but from different sides. Today, on 13.11, our accommodation service called me and informed me that the hotel says I lied to go about my business. They refuse to return for 3 nights that we didn't even sleep. For the first time I see such a piggish attitude towards customers, we have to live in rooms with insects, and when we see them, you refuse to legally cancel the reservation.
Do you think that I have nothing to do to look for another hotel at midnight because you have cockroaches running around the rooms on the fifth floor and can accuse customers of lying?
Two clients had insects in the rooms on the fifth floor on the same day, the staff confirmed that you have cockroaches, and you blame the client for the sake of revenue. I didn't want to write a review, but if you think it's normal to blame your customers, then now you see an honest review. Shame

The location is very good actually in the center. The rooms are clean, the cleaning is normally clean. Breakfast is a meager Cheese that has been baked for 3 days, it feels like it was cooked in the evening and it was lying somewhere.. The staff is normal everywhere. There are traces of poor-quality repairs on the ceiling in the room. In the bathroom, the watering cans have clogged nozzles. In the evening, the hookah bar starts working in the restaurant, they turn on the hood that goes along the facade and the vibration from it is transmitted to the metal facade and there is noise in the room until 2-3 nights while the hookah bar is working. I guess I didn't get the ventilation side so well. It's thundering wildly. When asked by the staff, they said they would talk to turn it off, but as you understand, no changes. The Internet in the room itself is terrible, I had to go out into the corridor or go down to the reception. The staff could not help in 3 days with the quality of the Internet. In the morning, we ordered breakfast boxes for 6 a.m. We arrived at 5.57 at the reception, the administrator went to the cook to pick them up, who started yelling at him in front of us why he woke him up 5 minutes earlier. This is how the hotel feels like
it was probably on the 4th floor before, now it's on the 3rd floor.

Bottom line - I do not recall such a list of problems when visiting any three-star hotel, let alone 4*
The only plus is the location, everything else is darkness for any money.

Excellent hotel on Dostyk Avenue. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is delicious and hearty. In the evening, there is a club and a hookah bar in the basement. You can sit on sofas outside, weather permitting.

Overall, not bad. The rooms are standard and very small. But I lived alone, it was enough for me. The bed linen is clean. However, the view from the window was on the windows of an apartment building, but I would like to see the mountains)))) I had to constantly close the windows.
Repairs need to be refreshed in the rooms.
Breakfast on the first day just shocked me! There was simply nothing to eat and everything was not the first freshness.... a day later I went to breakfast, everything was already fine, we got better))))
The service in the restaurant is good. The waiters are very polite.
The location is excellent, everything is within walking distance. Supermarket , pharmacies , shops, park, everything is nearby.
Result:
The hotel is for 4 people. There is something for the hotel administration to work on. But overall, it's not bad.
Will I come here again?
I think so. I was comfortable and comfortable here.

A small, comfortable hotel in a very successful area of Almaty.
The Presidential Suite is a huge highlight of this hotel! It is 2 storeys high, with a domed half-glass roof. Huge windows on 2 floors forge views of the city and the mountains. I think it's perfect: a fireplace, a sofa and a window-roof on a snowy night - it's magical)) but I was there during the day and for work)))) the hotel administration is friendly, very happy with the delight of visitors))

The family room was booked in advance from a very polite girl. However, when we arrived, there was one towel and one bathrobe for four people in the room), but everything was immediately fixed. Despite the fact that there were many guests in the hotel, there was no excitement at breakfast. Only the sofa for the eldest son was damaged, it was impossible to sleep on it.
