The Arc de Triomphe is a monument of antiquity built in Antalya in honor of the Roman Emperor Hadrian. It's an amazing place. Beautiful, majestic! There is a glass bridge underfoot, thrown from the present to the past.
The gateway to Antalya's oldest urban area is Kaleichi (Old Town, "Inside the Fortress"). Kaleichi is the historical (and tourist) center of the city, located around the harbor, where buildings from different periods of the city's history, starting from the ancient Roman ones, have been preserved on narrow streets and in alleys.
The gate (arch), in my opinion, is the main attraction of Antalya. They are two-tiered gates with three arches, eight columns and marble cornices. They were reconstructed in 1959.
We got here from the hotel first to the Mark Antalya shopping center by bus, then walked on foot.
It is very interesting, especially the stones under my feet, I can't erase them, it is clear that there was a restoration, it is not noticeable at night, you can go 1 time, admission is free
Excellent preservation of such an ancient structure. Only one of the original columns has been preserved, but this is easily explained by seismic activity. The most complete arch is to the right of the entrance to the old town. I have almost completely preserved the patterns.
In the arches themselves, the ruts on which wagons have been traveling for centuries are clearly visible.
The main, if not the main attraction of Turkish Antalya. It is present on various souvenirs and generally an iconic place, in particular, it is the gateway to (from) the oldest urban area of Kaleichi. I was interested in the steam track for ancient carts, as if pressed into the soft clay under the gate, and then...frozen into stone. Stay close - pay attention. Often the city authorities close it with a special bridge.

A super antique place in the middle of the city. There are always a lot of people. It's interesting to take a walk.
An excellent monument with the remains of the fortress wall. It's just a pity that there are cafes on one side and an ordinary road and ordinary modern houses on the other. It was probably possible to make a complex of buildings of that time. And be careful, homeless people sleep on the benches from the front of the gate at night.
