Wow!!! This is not an airport, but just some kind of palace! With its own greenhouse, where you can sit on benches, lie on the grass or in a wooden house, work, charge gadgets. On the territory of the airport there are fountains with drinking water, a hygienic shower in the toilet, free rest rooms with comfortable chairs (separate for women and men)

Great airport! It's like a beautiful oriental fairy tale! It is huge and essentially similar to other international airports. There are comfortable shelters on the floor in the waiting area, clean enough to sit with your shoes off, or even lie down. The chairs are wide and soft. The cleanliness is perfect. The only place that I do not recommend visiting is the smoking rooms. Believe me, if you go there, you won't want to smoke anymore!

If you want to see the beauty, there is a whole park in front of the boarding gate (gate "C"), go straight to the end (we had C23). There are also many shops and a large beautiful natural park. Necessary information: wrap one piece of luggage (an average suitcase) with 70 QAR or 20€/$. Packing of luggage, on the right after the entrance. Registration for Moscow (QR337) from 3 to 6 sectors (you will run right into them after entering), at any counter. Yes, the only business lounge where you can place and pay in cash is the Oryx Lounge (behind the yellow Bear to the right and on the elevator to the 2nd floor). The cost per person is $ 75. Arrival time is no more than 6 hours.

An excellent airport, there are rest rooms where you can lie in silence (if no one snores), they are divided into male and female, you will not be able to relax with the whole family.
The most wonderful place at the airport is a garden of plants with birds, the sounds of birdsong, beautiful vegetation, tents for recreation (which are always occupied) and benches where you can sit in this beautiful oasis.
Also, a monorail train runs inside the airport on the second floor.
There are drinking fountains in between, and that's good, since water costs $3.

Having visited it, you look at the best Russian airports with an ironic smile. A huge airport, which will take several hours to bypass. There are many works of modern street art at the airport, a large number of places for sitting / lying / relaxing / working (there are lounge areas with reclining chairs, and places for work - tables, chairs, electricity, and children's areas, and quiet zones, and TV zones), a sufficient number of completely different gastronomic establishments. All luxury clothing brands, all luxury watch brands, luxury cars are all here. Well, the cherry on the cake is an oasis of living tropical plants (including palm trees) with pleasant places to relax in the form of houses, gazebos, and beds. The 10 hours of transit flew by quite pleasantly.

Everything is intuitive, the scoreboard indicates how many minutes to go to certain gates - it is very convenient to calculate the time correctly.
We flew from Bali, with a short transfer in Qatar, 1h20minute. We managed to do everything, even walk around dutifrey. The fragrances that we watched were much cheaper than in Bali and Moscow.

There are several Duty free, located in different parts of the airport, there is a huge choice, and there is a suite, and the choice and availability of cosmetics, for example, is much more than at other airports. In my opinion, the best airport in the world. Not so big in size compared to Dubai or Istanbul, which is good news. The only inconvenience is that flights to Moscow are sent from the far gate of Wing C (from C30 to C65) and passengers are taken to the plane by buses. But this wing is still being completed and in the near future the landing will be through the usual "sleeves".

Border control struck: at the entrance, my biometric data is entered into the database, and then at the exit, the control procedure takes less than 1 minute!!!! At the same time, it makes no difference whether there is biometrics in the passport or not, unlike Russian control.
The navigation is clear, the staff is extremely polite!!!! WiFi is free, it's easy to register.
After the control, you will be met by a huge yellow bear!
A taxi, if from the parking lot, is expensive. It's easier to download the Carva app (Uber does not drive up to the entrance, the price tag is +/- the same) and call economy.

Despite the gorgeous architectural solutions, the airport in Doha will remain for me an airport with dirty men's toilets. And this is despite the fact that 2-3 cleaners are constantly on duty at the entrance of the toilet. They do not consider it their task to clean urinals. Therefore, during a 10-hour transfer in several toilets, I constantly observed puddles of urine under absolutely all urinals! Of course, there are questions for visitors in this regard. But if there are cleaners, they could clean not only in the booths, but sometimes at the urinals.
Well, as another disadvantage - the lack of luggage storage, things can only be left in business halls. And in general, there is a big problem with storage cameras in Doha.
